Whats the most shit a game has given you?

whats the most shit a game has given you?

>that part where you have to escape a barn and go back to the helicopter

Grenade spam on Vet in WaW where you have to destroy 4 flak cannons Infront of the Reichstag is up there

I don't know how many times I did the train mission in GTASA before I realised that you need to have the Vagos on screen for Smoke to shoot them... Talking days.

I always though that the mission where you have to clear out the Japanese mortar pits was harder. Very linear, many places where you get ambushed and for some reason every Jap has an automatic.

This part, huh? I remember this mission being more of a test of patience as the lines of sight and grenade spam were fucking awful.

I remember me and my buddy slogging through CoD4 and WaW campaigns on vet waiting for MW2 to launch, good times.

I felt like Mile High Club was harder than anything in the main game on Vet. Even this part since all you mostly had to do was hang out behind the bumper cars at the end.

It's easy. They come in waves, just abuse the airstrikes. After they're gone make a mad dash to the town and stick to the edge of the map.

>look up a speed run on Vet
>he died 5 times and was mostly praying to RNGsus on the first 1/3rd of the escape
CoD4 was fucking brutal, people hype up WaW's vet more but it only had one difficulty spike anywhere close to 4

Yeah, Burn'em Out trenches literally become rivers of grenades on Veteran.

>after 45 minutes finally get to the very end of MHC on Vet
>go for the leg shot
>REAL VETERANS GET HEADSHOTS
>end up fucking up that shot 6 more times till I got it

CoD4 wasn't multiplayer was it?

>remembering that retarded splitscreen layout for WaW

Halo 2, LASO, Jackal snipers

Mile high club eventually came down to muscle memory more than skill.

>Knife the first guy, shoot others, flashbang, shoot, up the stairs, flash the hall, run past and trigger the cutscene
>repeat sequence until you nail it

>retarded zoomer struggles with babby's first FPS
fuck off back to r/gaming

CoD games on veteran have always been my guilty pleasure. They really do turn the game into an entirely different sort of experience, and required you to take a very different, slow and methodical approach. Some of the MW2 spec ops missions on veteran were ridiculously fun with friends--I remember us being pinned down by a sniper in the mansion mission for fucking ages, and we spent ages trying to find the cunt without getting domed. It's a shame they did away with them.

I don't buy COD games anymore, but I keep trying out the new ones (either by renting or borrowing) and their Vet modes just don't capture the same sort of feel from the earlier iterations. COD WWII's Vet was a complete joke.

The most modern one I played was Advanced Warfare and I probably only died like twice on its Vet and was taking in more than 9 rounds at a time and not dying near the end. I heard the Specialist mode of Infinite is supposed to be a good challenge but I havent played it yet

Budokai 3 Z3 mode Omega Shenron

>seven life bars
>giant ATK buff
>giant DEF buff
>infinitely regenerating ki
>AI input reading and reactions
>god forbid you initiate a Dragon Rush the AI will just counter whatever button you pick
>can easily spam special moves and teleports
>15 SECOND TIME LIMIT

Attached: omega shenwrong.jpg (1280x720, 100K)

>spend hours trying it on veteran
>give up at 3am
>wake up and do it first time

>Jackal snipers
only a issue if you dont just pop their heads the minute you spot them and let them set up, those flying green fucks on the other hand will ruin your day

FFX had a few of these shitter momemts

>seymur flux
>yunalesca

There was a corner where you could camp waiting for the helicopter and the ia couldnt shoot you. You still had to make the run for the helicooter at the end tho

The entirety of CoD 3 on Veteran is just hell
The game is so broken, I hate it

>SMT: Nocturne
>every boss is "grind an ability you should have known to have ahead of time"
Still don't know why people like mainline SMT. They're the worst fucking games. Devil Survivor, Digital Devil Saga, and the Persona series were better all around, though none of them completely escape the "lol should've grinded this random ability beforehand, fag" trap at times, at least they all have more story to them than Nocturne did.

/screaming heard in the distance/

i honestly found CoD 2 on Veteran not that bad
sure i died a lot of times, but it never felt like it was because the game was cheating me, but it was me being bad
that's not the same as in CoD 3 tho, where the ai actually does cheat and they don't even hide it

black ops 1 with the hill and the gas can

pretty much
was still fun to get the achievement on veteran without any help or youtube tactics

still haven't beat WaW on vet because of that section

The last COD I played was BLOPS1 so I can't really comment on anything past it.

>CoD4 wasn't multiplayer was it?
nigga how old is you

Old enough to remember MW did not have co-op.

You can cheese it real hard by just hiding in lower part of the bunker
How the FUCK were you supposed to do that? I just keep throwing myself at it till I got lucky

ahh, I feel the salt from me rising

probably just took it in turns. a friend of mine ended up doing mile high club on vet for me. to this day he still likes to bring that up.

dying in CoD on veteran is not what pisses me off, its the stupid aim punch and bloody screen so real

Vanquish tactical challenge #6

shit you just triggered some deep seated ptsd

Attached: 300px-HL_OnARail_switch1.png (300x235, 133K)

No you can't. They'll throw infinite amount of grenades to kill you every time.

you are playing it wrong, on veteran you need to go fast as fuck because AI respawns if you keep holding a position

>TAKE OUT THOSE MORTARS!!!
>checkpoint reached
>MORTAR TEAM TO THE NORTH

I feel bad about this too. CoD3 is the only game that acknowledges Canadian and Polish forces and of course features the closing of the Falaise Gap which most people don't even know of despite it's extreme importance in the war.

It was not.

You play as the leafs in that on PSP CoD game too

god that type of split-screen was aids, resi 5 did it too

Is it vertical? I read that vertical is somehow better for 16:9 games

>By August 21, the battle for St. Lambert was over. Within the village itself, some 300 Germans had been killed, 500 wounded and more than 2,100 taken prisoner. Seven tanks, including three along the main road through St. Lambert, twelve 88mm guns and 40 other vehicles were destroyed.

>The area immediately south and west of St. Lambert was covered with German dead. Argyll soldier Arthur Bridge recalls a field on the southern edge of the village the size of a football pitch that could be walked across without touching the ground. General Eisenhower, who toured the area two days later, said in his memoirs: "It was literally possible to walk for hundreds of yards at a time, stepping on nothing but dead and decaying flesh."

>By the end of the action, "B" and "C" companies had only 70 men left between them. They would be amalgamated on 22 August 1944 under the command of Major Alex Logie, son of Major General WA Logie who had been first Commanding Officer of the Argylls in 1903. Lieutenant General Guy Simonds, Commander of [II Canadian Corps], later came forward to inspect the town. He had to get out of his staff car and walk as the piles of wreckage made the road through the area impassable.

Based.

nah this bs

Ah, seems like a way to render it lower res

same shit in re5, would've liked to replay it in couch co-op with a buddy but it's too painful.

Attached: re5.jpg (1280x720, 135K)

>that last stand Zombie defence on Der Riese
kek
everything past stage 20 was always 4 man on a narrow lane dumping their mags until one left who had to kite the massive horde.
In Shinonuma you could do it alone till level 50. But it gets boring way before that.
good times.

cod4 did not have multiplayer at least not online multiplayer
that started with WaW

no, the underground bunker where there are 50 russians waiting around each corner to fuck your anus on veteran was the MOST BULLSHIT EVER.
then my xbl buddy literally just ran past these faggots and got it on the 5th try,

>that part where you have to run through a double decker crossfire
>if you make it through that you are in an empty room with no cover as 5 dudes rush in

Attached: 1388723780076.jpg (456x628, 50K)

It had online you stupid zoomer. Even CoD 3 had online multiplayer

>Even CoD3
why do people always forget this had a 360/PS3 release

pretty sure they're talking about co-op

That same fucking part gave me hell the first time i played on veteran, i got bored and quit.
After a couple of years i came back and made it on like 2nd or 3rd try, you just gotta go right trough the canal and you gotta be quick, throw smoke or smthing

even cod2 had multiplayer, also on 360/PS3

that fucking mission in Blops where you fight endless waves of japs while going downhill... that shit was so frustrating

>REAL VETERANS GET HEADSHOTS
I know that feel. I think thats only in remastered though, because I clearly remember going for the leg in vanilla.

I assure you its in the original one as well
