I played the demo today and it was kinda nice. Customization options are insane. They drop a shit ton of weapons on you in the first dungeon. May be its only in demo though, I'm not sure. But then I beat a boss and went to a map dungeon. So there is a section with a key u need to beat in order to progress - basically it's a gauntlet with shit ton of monsters. This is where I quit the demo since it was ridiculous - not enough place for maneuvers and their AOE attacks are fucking huge. That shit is clunky af. I guess I just wait for reviews.
Characters, their design, seiyu are great. Especially Luka. I didn't liked that mc is mute even tho you can chose his voice.

Yakumo is generally seen as the best at the moment due to his inherent tankiness. Louis is also good if you can take advantage of his buffs. Mia still lags behind despite her buffs

You need to add depth to the eyes. In the show, her eyes are two-tone but yours are monotone. Either change the eye shape or make the left color a darker shade of yellow, almost brown.

I recall watching someone who didn't know you could aim it use it as an AoE, but that generally isn't recommended. It's combo drain comes out pretty quickly and has a wide range, though, so you can use it like that.

Ivy drain attack is grossly overpowered. It has stupidly long range and you can do it around corners. Almost no reason not to start pretty much every enemy encounter with a drain.

I really want to like it but I just despise some of the hitboxes.
I swing clean through an enemy, but apparently the hitbox is only on the hilt of the sword instead of the middle.

The heavy axe isn't exactly a problem with it's hitbox but more it's moveset in general. The first hit is able to do enough knockback to stagger enemies out of range for additional hits. It's still a problem but it's not that problem.

I remember it being useful in multiplayer. I had to save the host a few times that way when I was summoned.

Them just standing there point-blank to a boss means at least one heal is getting wasted when they get smacked a second later.
It creates more problems than it helps.

Well since the network test, nothing really improved outside a couple of the combat issues, and graphic glitchs.

Your characters frame is out of proportion to the other NPCs, most just pass it off as a height difference, but it's more than that, you're out of scale.

The easiest way to tell is with Yakumo and Davis, ignoring hat cosmetics and hair they're essentially the same height as your character but your proportions are noticeably bigger than theirs, most obvious is your head, size difference of a nickel and a dime.

The enemies you encountered were "bosses" in the same way some of the Chalice Dungeons in Bloodborne had "bosses": tougher enemies who were slightly buffed.
In regards to performance, people have said that cleaning up their PS4 greatly improved their experience.

Much, I'm pretty sure that since this is the demo that everyone has access to, they made it easier to get a broader audience interested in buying it, while the Network test was geared at the diehards, it could simply be the combat tweaks they've implomented since then, but I felt this version was a cakewalk compared to the NT, I was parrying like crazy, and didn't need to use regen until I got jumped by the invasion segment.

Not to mention that the single female bat/cat boss in the demo was a regular encounter in the NT, with just a tad bit more health, hell, she didn't even last long enough for me to see her move pool.

No, I don't think players can invade other peoples games.

For this, invasions basically work like enemy waves, 3 varying mobs will spawn at a time, and keep spawning until all the waves are complete, at the end you're given a reward for beating them, usually a mid tier crafting ingredient, unfortunatly they fucked up the mechanics by not including fog walls, for both the demo and NT all you have to do is kite them back in to the hallway and bottle neck them for easy picks, hell you can even kite them all the way back to spawn where their limit is and they'll just stand there taking swipes.

There really gotta fix that, especially since both were farmable, and reset every time you visited the "bonfire"
