It was playing Skyrim that I got more curious about mead. Not that easy to get hold on in modern towns, not cheap anyways.
But it is nice. Very nice. Tastier than cider and would substitute beer with it.

I am convinced they actually mixed mead with water in the olden days and it just got lost through history. Pure mead is disgustingly sweet.
