It feels worse because the dailies are now forcing you to do different modes in a single day when previous ones were set up to get a good chunk of the missions done in a single go or two. Also forcing people to play shit characters like Polar online for a fucking daily is just a bad decision all around.

Wasn't there some talk about a datamine revealing Baby Cortex and Baby Tropy, or was that a fever dream?
If so, here's my theory on how the GPs work.
They do four passes of the entire GP lineup, each turn adding something new to the exclusives, and notably adding another track.
For example, Nitro Tour gets a track based on Canada/the Crash 2 chase and digging levels, another based on Texas - possibly an extended medley of the Crash 3 racing levels - and lastly, a level based on Malibu - if the bit about Brio setting up the Nitro Squad was true.
Once the four passes are done, and the tracks unlocked, another free update adds in cups encompassing the new tracks.

1v1 races would be pure hell. Everything would be decided in the first lap with zero chances to catch up afterwards.

No I meant that the items being unobtainable once the GP is over is what kills it. You will always be locked out of some of the few 'additions' to the game if you're not playing often, since actual gameplay additions are rare.

I missed out on a number of GP items during the first and second GPs and do not give a fuck whatsoever since they don't affect the gameplay at all
Again, if you're autistic about owning 100% of all items in the game, I can see how it would negatively affect you, but as it is a lot of people don't give a shit when they hold jobs/college work higher than CTR

yeah, the new karts are alright even though they are reskins of already existing karts but fucking hell the new track is so ass.it took a while to get the hang of it but having portals and the optimal path being so small is infuriating.

i was expecting them to use the portal shit to tour through all 3 games
it would have been better if it all just took place inside the last ice castle portion
the worst bit is that little lip in the outside ice part that you can jump over, but if you so much as clip the stones with your muffler it acts like your out of bounds

Not giving at least a week between GPs is a mistake. Players have little to time to play characters and vehicles they actually want if they don't want to miss out on bonuses.

There has been zero reason to actually use the champion kart for every single gp. You know, one of the main fucking rewards for playing a GP.

I'm amazed that cart and the decals you win don't give bonuses for the GP.

Theres nothing stopping you from playing the characters you want 24/7 and just ignoring the Nitro bonus. Ive done that since the BIT one and still got the GP tiers and 5% (somehow).

I've been playing with no nitro boosts and just got into Gold Tier today.

I don't get how people had like 128000 nitro last season. I missed a week of playing and still got the reward for been at like 45000.

Gnastys pretty underrated and fun. Its a shame we didnt get Ripto, Bianca or Bentley. Or even Shiela since shes a marsupial.
