Semi-related, but why the fuck is every hostile humanoid enemy in From games so fuckoff huge? A lot of these creatures/zombies/fanatics seem to be on a higher scale than the player character. Normally these creatures are former people that have been mutated/reanimated by some supernatural/pseudo-scientific force, but they all seem to be wearing clothing and armor that are made for people of their exceedingly tall stature, implying they were always that big even before that setting's disastrous/apocalyptic event.

All I remember from the Witcher 3 story was just going from location to location and meeting some assholes along the way. It's partially homage to older games such as Final Fantasy where your party often fights three or four on one, against a very powerful villain. Your side is animated and small, whereas the enemies are rendered as grand paintings; big ass things to intimidate you. Those, in turn, were taken from things like D&D monster manuals where all you had to visualize a monster was a single graphic. Remember, FROM's RPGs have their roots in traditional role playing games.

NG+ would require me to play through the entire game until I can use the weapons I want though. Fuck Saw Cleaver. I want a fast route to a fun weapon and to start using it and enjoying the game. BB's biggest mistake was locking the player into 3 choices and then having them bound to it until the lategame where they could comfortably farm chunks/souls to upgrade other weapons.
