I can't even bother sitting down for a session of gaming anymore and I'm not even old, the more and more games advance we seem to be playing more but it honestly seems too much an effort, especially when some games now just feature endless cutscene after cutscene

I love my Nintendo Switch™ for this exact reason. I just take it along with me and wake it up for a quick session and put it to sleep when I get busy again. It's alway there to fill the cracks in my day!

By no means am I a chad but I have an active social life, am in college while working part time and do sports semi regulary: Play games that are not time intensive. I always liked indie and arcade games so that is fairly easy to me.

I only managed to go back to my gaming hobby when I finished college and lost my job. When I had deadlines and serious things to do, I couldn't have fun playing.
Now I hardly leave home (I earn some money working on my own PC) and I get several free hours a day. Playing video games was pleasant again for me, but I'm sure if I ever have a "normal" social life or work again, I won't be able to play again.

I squeeze in about two hours after work once my kid passes out. Any more than that and my gf feels neglected tho so I gotta find a balance. No more 4 day binge sessions like the old days.
