It just feels that way early on. Eventually you'll figure out the quick and efficient ways of farming the things you need and have multiple max level servants of every class. Then event farming will be much easier. Lower level event quests drop the least shop currency items.

I don't think anyone even comes close to Jack when it comes to Assassins. That crit star gen is unmatched, and you can easily NP loop if you have enough stars and cards. If you're fighting a female boss, which is almost ALWAYS, you'll do a tactical nuke level damage.
There's lots of good assassins, but the damage modifier makes most of them really underwhelming. People love Hassan, but again, having a ST Buster assassin is kind of stupid when you need to up the damage to make up for the lackluster class damage.

You sometimes need the NP battery maxed, depends on what cards you get on the second turn. In fact, if you get no spartacus cards at all you might get fucked and it goes to 4 turns, it's not guaranteed 3 turn.

I do it like this.
Turn 1: Waver 2nd skill, Arash NP
Turn 2: Helena's 1st and 3rd skills, swap her out for the other Waver, and use both waver's 3rd skill. Should put spartacus at 100% NP. Use it, and you NEED at least 1 Spartacus face card to finish the Hydra off, unless you can get a buster chain with both wavers and get a lucky crit.
Turn 3: Use the wavers and Spartacus NP battery to get him to 100% again, use his buster skill and the Mystic Code attack's buff. You pretty much NEED a Spartacus brave chain or a buster crit. Otherwise, you'll need another turn to finish off Ozy.

Plus from what I can tell, all the Halloween Elizabeths are usable to some extent. Like if you're f2p and have NOTHING ELSE that's better, Brave Eli is pretty good, and Mecha Elis are free Alter Egos which are otherwise all Limiteds.
Even Halloween Eli, who's probably the shittiest Eli of all, is still at least usable if you have no gold AOE Caster.

Arash is really just a puzzle and once you figure it out, you can cheese him easily. If you've been playing long enough, you probably have an Iri. Just nab a friend's Merlin or Tamamo and maybe us Mash and you can arts stall forever. Just remember to give Iri a good CE for charging up NP because being able to charge it fast is absolutely vital for the third Stella.
Pop the NP in the first tick of Arash's NP bar consistently. This'll get Iri's NP nice and charged again by the time he uses Stella. On the third Stella, pop the NP immediately because he'll Stella you again immediately after. After that it doesn't matter much. Even if you fuck up, as long as you have a Cu Chulainn, a Bond CE Berserker or a Nero with the appropriate CE you can cheese him out.

You're not wrong. The only Sabers I have that come close to her damage-wise are Rama, Fran and Saber Alter. Saber Alter is strangely effective even against bosses despite being AOE.
Fran's actually kind of surprising. I didn't expect much from her and literally ALL her skills have demerits to them, but she actually does decent damage and even at level 1, her Summer Galvanism can charge her NP in a single sub-optimal term. She'd probably be even more useful if I actually leveled up her skills but SKILL MATS ARE SO FUCKING UNCOMMON IN THIS GAME HOLY SHIT. What the fuck is going on? In the early days they dropped so many skill mats that I didn't even know what to do with them, but these days you'd be lucky to find any even in an event. This Nero Fest is a pretty big boon for me because I can finally get my hands on more.

I started a new account to see how far I can get with low-rarity Servants and welfares. Unfortunately, I started really late so I'm not gonna have easy access to early good welfares like Santa Alter or Rider Kintoki. I'm planning to use SQs primarily for event CEs, and also maybe certain gold Servants I wouldn't normally consider rolling for in my main account. Also, for use as rainbow apples or extra command spells in a pinch.
For now, I'm really hoping to roll a Medusa since, even if she's mediocre as fuck, she's still an AOE Rider. Until the next Honnoji event, she's all I can hope for.

It's the lack of powerful wave-clearers that's gonna be an issue, really. I can see I'm gonna use Arash a lot. I actually lucked out on got a Nero when I rolled the other day, so for the time being, I have a not completely worthless Saber. Or rather she's the only Saber I have because Caesar refuses to come to me and there's not gonna be any bronze Sabers until Jason.
You know what the funny thing about Friend Points is? New players need them more than anyone but no one's gonna use a new player's Servants. If you want more FP, you're gonna have to use the story Servants, but I recall them being suboptimal, especially since you can't equip them with CEs. Luckily, I managed to grind through Nerofest to get a buttload of FPs and gold embers, but it's really slow so I'm just gonna stop. It just takes way too damn long since I'm so heavily reliant on Friend Servants.

She's not. She doesn't regret her actions at all. That's probably the biggest issue. She will never apologize for destroying Britain. Even if she did, it could never make up for it, but she won't so the point's moot. Mordred's goal is still to defeat King Arthur. She calls herself the Knight of Treachery and wears that title with pride. There is literally no room for reconciliation. Mordred doesn't want it in the first place.
Besides, how do you expect someone who's dedicated her entire life, both waking and sleeping, to being a king to know how to be a dad? Besides, it's not even like Saber did anything wrong. Mordred showed up and said "Hey Dad, you should make me king!" All Saber did was say "No." Mordred went and took that in the absolute worst way possible and fucking destroyed everything that Saber cared about and loved.
I mean, look, yes, some enemies can reconcile, but very few of them did anything as bad as what Mordred did.

You use his Quick buff (on top of the one his NP gives) and NP on the Hydra.
Face cards should finish off the centaur since if you kill the Hydra with the NP, the face cards will attack the centaur.
this set-up should kill that wave in 1 turn since Kintoki will have: 2 attack buffs (from the wavers), his Quick buff skill, and the quick buff his NP gives.
