Crash Bandicoot and Doomguy. Would make a lot of people happy without a doubt. Doomguy would probably have a unique play style, and Crash would
be another mascot character which I would enjoy to balance out all the human characters. Crash could be swapped for Rayman if you wanted, really. Japan may feel left out by these choices, but all they want are more anime people and that’s fine but I’d like the pass to have more variety.
If it could truly be anyone I’d go for a Rhythm Heaven character and Wonder Red, but obviously the pass is going to be all third party.
Terry’s an alright choice though, if only so I can do rising tackle in a Smash game. Really hope the final slot is someone visually distinct.

Artorias from Dark Souls because he would be one of the most out of left field characters to become a fighter in Smash since Soccerguy loves to make fighters that are out of left field. Also, Artorias would be fun to play as and he would bring a great selection of soundtracks (i.e. Ornstein and Smough, Soul of Cinder), spirit battles (i.e. Sir Alonne with Cloud being the fighter, Abyss Watchers with a Ike team being the fighters), and an Anor Londo stage would be great.
Doomguy/Doom Slayer because Smash needs an FPS rep and he would be the first fighter for its playstyle being around gunplay. Plus, Doom music in smash would be pretty kino.

The TF2 should have a Nemesis power up. It activates when you KO the same opponent several times in a row and makes you deal more damage to them, but also take more damage from them. Also a TF2 style kill message every time he KOs someone.

jill is from the only very popular main jap series not represented in smash, she has grenade launcher, shotgun, and pistol to work from, as well as "defense items" which could probably be her grabs and throws. her up B could be going up in a helicopter or getting an assisted jump from nemesis. her down special would call barry who would save her once every two minutes and say something like "that was too close! you were almost a jill sandwich!"

rayman would fit perfectly into smash with his orb shooting and his up b could be the purple lum rings. he could also do charge shots like samus. helicopter to move around, etc. if not rayman then doomguy would also be a great choice

The Titan's Realm? The Necropolis? There's really no way to do a DOOM stage without it being full of blood, Hell imagery/symbols/gore unless it's just generic space station.

A Base Ball player from Bad News Base Ball on the NES. Super dumb but hear me out. His Alt colors could be different teams. His neutral special would be a home run swing like the item and ness's smash attack, but if you hold it, you can bunt as a counter or to reflect projectiles. Up special would be a grab similar to C. Falcon/Ganon where he jumps up as if to catch a pop fly with his glove extended. Down Special would be a slide dash as if hes going to slide for a base. Side special would could out the Rabbit umpire that just yells "OUT" and it grounds people similar to DK's Side special.

It could work as a rep for all those Tecmo sports games that were made for nintendo over the years, would be super random and interesting.
