Building your own computer is a fun experience, saves you money, and you even learn things. They aren't designed to fucking break and are rather straightforward to put together.

If you've got loads of money to waste and want to buy a pre-built, go nuts. It's just that most people aren't that rich and value for money means a lot. You simply get superior value for your money buying the parts and doing the labour yourself, rather than paying some company like Cyberpower to get their unenthusastic drones to do it for you.
