So they'll have smario 64, wave race 64 maybe boojie kajobie and that's about it

FAKE

AND

GAY

dont forget starfox, and perhaps MS will be kind enough to let them have KI, Conquer, Diddy Kong etc

I'd much rather they just announce VC for the Switch, but I guess that's not their style these days.

Wouldn't a hypothetical announcement be closer to Christmas? I'm talking October, at earliest

Even ignoring all the Rare and Star Wars games you still have:
Mario 64
Wave Race 64
Mario Kart 64
StarFox 64
OoT
Majora's Mask
Mischief Makers
1080° Snowboarding
Bomberman 64
Kirby 64
Smash Bros
PilotWings 64
F-Zero X
Pokemon Snap
Sin and Punishment
Mario Tennis
Mario Party
Mario Golf
Goemon's Great Adventure

I'd prefer an n64 classic collection for switch

you forgot turok and paper mario

True. Those too.

how could I forget about sin and punishment, such a great game.

>tomorrow
in 8 days you mean

It will be 1st party games only no 007/perfect dark and a bunch of other games that rare did.

Most Rare games haven't aged very well anyway

Bomberman Hero is better than Bomberman 64. Prove me wrong (you can't)

Tetrisphere and Wetrix like come on, goes without saying.

Can someone explain to me the appeal of this other than the nostalgia factor? you can literally use an emulator and USB n64 controllers if you want.

superior turoks playable on gog/steam/xbone...

Most people will see it as a convenient way to relive their childhood, so yes mainly nostalgia. You'd be surprised how many people I've met that played N64 games as a kid and never bothered to check out emulators.

N64 emulation is pretty far from perfect. It'd be nice to have something straight from the source.

Turok even got a Switch port, along with Turok 2.

find me one thing mupen64plus & angrylionrdp can't run
also just because the emulation is from nintendo doesn't mean it's better, see SNES classic vs higan

RIGHT ABOUT NOW IS TIME TO ROCK WITH THE BIGGITY BUCK BUMBLE

It looks cute. Literally the main reason I got an European Snes mini

It will never happen for the following reasons:

1. No M rated games. There goes half the FPSes.
2. No licensed games. There goes all the rest of the FPSes plus the wrestling games and sports games.
3. No Rare. There goes half the rest of the games people remember the system for.

So you're left with first-party Nintendo ONLY. That's... literally like 10 games and half of them have Mario in them.

the only thing that I hope for from an n64 classic is the controllers use gamecube ports instead of wii classic controller ports, would look much better on the front instead of that retarded flap on the snes

I don't get why people doubt Microsoft would play ball for rare titles- they'd get their cut from licensing a few titles for an n64 classic and then they can double that with rare replay on switch and retards will buy the games again

>they'd get their cut from licensing a few titles for an n64 classic

Which means Nintendo isn't left with a heck of a lot of profit, which makes it even less likely of happening.

no but I'm ready for something crappy like a Nintendo Online SNES ROMs announcement

I only had a Playstation growing up.

I'd like to buy and hack an N64 Classic like I did with my SNES Classic but I'm worried that an N64 Classic wouldn't have the extra memory space that the NES and SNES had. Throwing a bunch of games onto the console might be too much of a pain. If so it kinda defeats the purpose of buying these plug and play consoles.

I want GameBoy and Gameboy Advanced classics.
Imagine the Gba classic, looks like the orignal gba, but the size of the GBA micro.
I would cum.

the switch sequel is looking good! cant wait to buy :DD

just buy a flash cart for an actual gba

user, if you're gonna be like that, there's literally no point in any of the classics at all.

user for FUCK sake. Just to own one. It’s no more complex than that. There’s no point in owning a ship in a bottle but some people dig them.

I wanna play Diddy Kong Racing again so bad but I don't wanna emulate it because it just won't be the same without a 64 controller.

>No Tactics Ogre

God, I fucking wish.

(Hopefully) Good controller revisions. Imagine a high-quality analog stick...

What do you guys think they'll price it at? It's gotta be over 100$ cause of that controller. NES and SNES controllers are piss easy to make. I'm guessing they'll give it a nice 120$ price tag
