i played the original crash team racing with my dad on my ps1.
never actually learned how to drift boost but it was still fun

With my dad we played a way out but we stopped when they have to sleep in the tent and do fishing cuz then he had to do some work I can say that he "survived". After that I convince him to play borderlands the pre secuel I think, and it was too much for him. He would move just a room of distance away before getting killed or lost and unable to control the camera fast and shoot at the same time. After that we tried Lego Harry Potter 1. I've played the Batman/marvel Lego games and the had voices. I thought this one would be like that but it was silent at so it got boring after and hour for him and now he doesn't want to play with.me anymore. Another time I made play my mom play t couldn't find the right timing to it

Galaga with my dad
Super Mario World and Speedy Gonzales with my mom

Dad got me into vidya, we would work together to 100% Mario games and smash Bros. Thank you based dad.

video games gave my dad headaches but we did play need for speed carbon together.

My dad taught me how to play C&C Red Alert when I was 7 if that counts.

With my dad. It was one of the first games I ever finished which is surprising we got through it at all since I let him try out Super Mario Bros on my wii and he asked me if Mario gets upgrades later in the game that allow him to get the first few ? blocks. Fucking retard.

I play the original mario bros with my mom shes too scared to use the warp pipe but she gets to world 2-2 2-3 most of the time

I play pokemon go with my dad if that counts. As for console games, nah but he plays a lot of Hitman with my little brother.

Mario's games mostly.

>literally everyone

I just realised I can't think of or at least remember a single instance of my dad ever playing with me or spending time with me in any way when I was a kid beyond school projects

Attached: 53464847598.jpg (519x537, 63K)

I just boxed alone and would fight with my mom because she wanted to use it for yoga.

yeah, but did you win

No, but my dad encouraged me to play video games because he wanted me to be normal and "video games" were what all of his friends' kids were doing. It worked too well and now I'm a fucking NEET.

My dad bought DOOM because he thought it looked badass. Mom used to get annoyed because she wanted to use the computer and we'd always be playing.
I got him 2016 DOOM and he was blown away. Spent a good handful of hours just walking around looking at everything.

yes. I beat their boomer asses until they shit themselves.

Neglect.

>Having parents that were into vidya

My Dad fucking hates vidya and calls it the devil, my Mom doesn't know jack shit about vidya but she understands.

My dad played Rampage World Tour on the n64 with me. It was the only game he actually enjoyed playing.

do they fug

This reminds me of when my dad used to play Skyrim on our 360. He did literally no quests, he'd just kill everyone he'd see. I eventually taught him how to make potions, so he'd spend hours just beating the shit out of people like Cicero and Nazeem and make a shit ton of level 1 health potions. It got so bad that me and my brother couldn't play Halo on it anymore. Good times.

I played Fighting games with my mom.
I once found a copy of DOA extreme beach volleyball under her bed. We both lived by ourselves

Haha your mom was fucking gay, user

played and beat D&D Heroes several times with my dad when I was a young lad.
Also helped my mom learn how to play oblivion for about a month before she stopped. That was a really weird phase for her

My mom loved Mario Kart and DDR (usually just did it for work outs.)

That's kind of hot.

>played this with my dad
>beat both galaga arrangement and dig dug arrangement with him
we also played SSX tricky

Attached: 1556773520286.png (640x908, 1.39M)

my brother and i would sit behind my dad and watch over his shoulder as he played doom 3 when we were kids. it became one of my favorite games because of it.

we got him a good graphics card and now he's on his third or fourth play through of doom 2016 now. he's trying to get all the secrets on the hardest difficulty

Attached: 1548903721554.jpg (3000x1687, 1.54M)

>dad hated vidya
>he would hide my gamecube av cables in his car when he goes to work so I couldn't play it until he came back
>mfw I had extra cables from my snes and n64

my dad always plays halo by himself. every friday he'll drink a couple beers and run through the campaigns on legendary. i think his favorite is halo reach.
oh yeah also this. we used to play this together all the damn time for a couple years. i still run through the campaign at least once a year

My dad definitely has an interest in video games, but he's always seemed embarrassed about it. First console we ever got was a SNES because they had one set up with Killer Instinct at the local mom and pop video rental store, and he bought one, KI, and the goof troops game for me. When I bought a Wii, every once awhile, all the way until like 2012 when I'd be home on break from college, if the rest of the family had gone out and got back earlier than expected, we'd catch him playing Red Steel and he'd stop like immediately, and be all "Oh yeah, just popped it in for a couple minutes." As far as actually playing together, we played like two rounds of Smash once and he seemed to have a decent enough time, but we played on the same team since I played like 5 hours every Sunday with a friend after church, and he had never played before, and the first round was way too easy, so I set a team of Yoshi's on level 9, and because I actually sucked and this was like the first time he ever held a gamecube controller, we got our asses kicked.

Dead Or Alive 1/2/3 with pops. We'd talk smack and also talk about boobs.

me and my dad would make custom scenarios for eachother in Age of Empires 2
eventually they basically turned into weird puzzles with objective triggers in the weirdest places
good times

Attached: 1567379094247.jpg (720x720, 240K)

My dad used to play the casino games on mario 64 DS all the time with me. We loved the picture poker lmao. My mom and me used to play Little Big Planet 2 all the time, but she liked all the minigame levels lol.

me and my dad farm on warframe and in ff14 hes my tank he's almost 60 years old dudes a badass

I think Donkey Kong Country 2 and 3 and Mario Golf on GCN and any Mario Party were the most played games with her
I played Mario Tennis with my dad once I believe

My dad's 65 and played the original Zelda in one sitting for like 8 hours when it first came out. He played games up until 3d stuff started making him motion sick and threw up. Your father is just closed minded.

My mom hates videogames and my dad is a sports freak.

no, they don't like video games. they like me though so they buy games for me. they always say that I'm eventually going to grow out of it like my bros but jokes on them.

that is 80% of moms and dads, dont feel bad.

Halo CE with my dad.
I remember doing co-op and blasting through the entire campaign in one sitting with him. I remember the vidya induced headache I forced myself to power through while trying to throw the grenades in the weird vent things in The Maw.
I also played a few matches of Super Smash Bros. Melee with him during a time where we couldn't afford Brawl.
Sometimes we played CoD Modern Warfare 1 and 2 together, but I don't remember much from those days.
Sometimes I would cooperatively play Mario with my mom since she's a massive Nintendofag.
Beyond that, my parents weren't really much of vidya fans, and I mainly either played by myself, with whatever fleeting online friend group I had at any given time, or with my endearingly autistic uncle.
...I kinda wish I had more vidya related memories with my family overall to be honest.

Attached: wew.png (306x245, 8K)

Figured it would be fun to let my dad play COD Modern Warfare since he's ex-army. He killed himself in the tutorial level and gave up. We played Playboy : the Mansion after that.

Mom was really great at Duke Nukem 3d. Was busy finishing the game on hard mode until my little shitstain brother deleted her savegame. She never touched the vidya again after that. Except for Mahjong and Candycrush on the phone.

You outed yourself as a child
I'm 30 and would play video games with my dad all the time as a kid, he liked going to arcades and playing light gun games and pinball, we cleared Revolution X, Lethal Enforcers, Area 51, and House of the Dead together

Just NSMBWii and a few Mario Party games. Sometimes Mario Kart, but it'd be over fast because I was too good.

Mom played fighting and racing games. Soul caliber and Crusin' USA all day

i played games with my sister. usually she would just ask me to watch her play wind waker and twilight princess and ask me to read the character dialogue to her. id always try to make goofy voices for them.
she still does ask me to watch her, though now she only plays skyrim on 360, and she only asks me to look stuff up or read the books to her.
its pretty fun

I used to take turns playing Doom and Quake 1 with my dad since we only had one computer and had to take turns, and later on Quake 3 and Wolfenstein Enemy Territory (which we both played nigh-religiously). Pretty recently I bought him D44M, Dusk, Amid Evil, and Ion Fury but, of those, I think he only really played a decent amount of Dusk and he never finished it.
He also used to play Downhill Domination with me on "our family" PS2 and either chose the chick with the best ass (patrician choice since the game defaults to third person) or the fat Hawaiian Wario who specialized in combat (who he'd use to pummel the ever-respawning shit out of everyone else in the race).
He only really plays Age of Conan and World of Tanks these days but luckily he doesn't spend money on them since he's a massive jew.
My mom has never touched a video game in her life other than to turn off the console because "it's using too much electricity".

My dad's not so good at vidya anymore but he can still kick my ass in Tetris

Goof Troop with my dad. I wanted to play it with my son someday but I have given up hope in finding a mother.

Me and my dad tried the original IL-2 Sturmovik.
After an hour we were finally able to take off, but unfortunately we were never able to figure out how to land.

Me and my dad used to have a tradition on Friday nights.
We'd stay up taking turns playing Super Mario World.
He'd usually have some kind of late night snack that he'd share, like lightly buttered bread dipped in tomato soup, or crackers with provolone and salami.
We'd play until about 2 am when I Love Lucy would start on Nick at Nite, then go to bed once it was over.
We'd always have to keep watching each other to make sure neither of us laughed too hard at the game or show, because my mom's such a light sleeper.
We eventually stopped once we get an N64 and the SNES got unplugged, I guess the 3D was too much for him.
I still try to convince him to try another video game on the very rare occasion that a chance to ask comes up, but I've given up on ever being able to hang out with him like that again.

I remember learning to play Lion King on PC with my grandfather and playing Genesis games with my materal Uncle's friends, but not with my parents proper. My Mom gets motion sickness too easily and my father is both separated from my Mother and was born in the 50s.

I first beat Mario 3 with my mom
Played hours of vs matches in Halo CE with my dad

My dad liked Blood Wake on Xbox and that was about it.

My parents hate video games.
My bros played video games when we were kids but grew out of them, now they just play mobile games.

Younger brother plays some console games that I invite him in like Monster Hunter or Dark Souls, and he was a big fan of Yakuza but 6 burnt him out with how shit it was. Older brother is unironically your textbook genwunner casual Poketard, he's ironically the most successful out of the three of us though.

Occasionally I get them to play Tekken and I kick their ass and they somehow kick mine. Sometimes Smash too but the older brother doesn't like it.

Parents really hate video games though but they seem to have warmed up to the idea that I'll probably never stop playing them.

Would always play UT2004 as a very young child with my Dad. I must have been 5 at the oldest, I don't remember even being in school yet. We played through all of Diablo 2 together when I was in 3rd grade or so. Great memories.

Played Duke 3d and starcraft with my dad

My dad and I went through Mario 64 together. Later when the GameCube came out we played double dash all the time.

I played Pokemon Stadium 1/2 mini-games, Mario Kart 64, and with my mom.
I played Crash 3 Warped, Crash Bash, Crash Team Racing, Simpsons Hit & Run, Crash Tag Team Racing, and Lego Star Wars with my dad.
All three of us liked playing Crazy Taxi and Wii Sports Bowling together.

My Dad refuses to play vidya on the merit that he fucking hates them but he'll smoke dope harder than Snoop and call it more productive.

>>Having parents that were into vidya
>Zoomzoom

Leave it to a meme spouting retard to have parents that didn't share his interests. We're not talking about having numale/geek culture parents forcing this on us, faggot.

Doom 2 and Stars! Dad got me into gaming

Played this, Namco Museum, and Midway Arcade Treasures

Attached: 513AQYHC8YL._AC_.jpg (378x500, 35K)

you just awakened memories at my dad kicking ass in galaga on this with his og xbox he had in his room

Attached: b0d4bf2.jpg (670x670, 32K)

I'm 25 and my dad was into vidya. Actually he was a fan his whole life, starting out in arcades and now playing flight simulators, mostly.
We played Doom co-op and Call of Duty LAN together, was pretty awesome.

We were when I was in grade school. But my dad often played NBA games. I couldn't get into it and eventually he fell out of video games. My mom prefered nintendo games and yoga. Her husband however introduced me to Halo 2. I miss those days.

My dad loves gta5. When he first got it he spent like 20 hours just driving around beating people up. He complained that there was nothing to do until i told him that more stuff unlocks when you play the missions. He literally just played as micheal the whole time. He even got an autograph from Franklins voice/face actor

I didn't play games with my parents, but I used to sit bare naked on my uncle's lap while playing Super Mario Bros. 2.

I used to play Mario Kart 64 with my mum when i was about 5, in more recent years she played some mario galaxy 2 with me, good times

Did she ever try to play games at the beach with you, user? Did she make you inflate her beach balls, or did she help you deflate yours?

I used to watch him play MechWarrior and Battlefront as a bab. Nowadays he pretty much only plays Bethesda games and has like 1500 hours in Fallout 4 and Skyrim.

Worms with my dad.
And Mario Party, musou games, PSO and some tales of games with my Mom. But she now got so old that she often get lost or don't understand what she is supposed todo in the games anymore. Makes me sad

my dad and I played everything together when I was a kid. everything from metal gear solid 1,2,3 to mario 64 to gta:sa to jak&daxter and ratchet and clank to resident evil to mvc2 to way of the samurai. he loved video games more than I did, he's the reason I play vidya. he's 41 now and I'm 22 and he still plays fallout new:vegas on his ps3, but he lives a few states away and his pc is bad so we don't play much together anymore. he has a couple skills 99 in runescape though and he gives me millions in gold all the time. my dad is based as fuck, i love my dad.

Your dad sounds cool.

He just walks by sometimes and compliments the graphics.

My parents are complete boomer fucking retards and have no interest in video games ever. All the parents who actually played video games with their kids were always the smart and rational people I've ever met.

Attached: 1529969892626.png (500x538, 9K)

as far as dads go he's as cool as they come. i lucked out, he's been my best friend forever. idk where I'd be without my pops, i know a lot of anons end up with shitty parents and i really feel for them because without my dad I'd probably have killed myself by now

Did she actually need help understanding, or did she just want you to read for the hell of it?

my mom's the one who introduced me to the concept of gaming. she's the one who owned and primarily used the NES. we used to play megaman, mario, all that good shit together. she was better than me.

My mom and I used to play the shit out of those Raving Rabbids party games. Don't judge me, I loved the costume customization in those games

Attached: 1461192409795.jpg (479x335, 19K)

I played through the first Ratchet & Clank with my parents, my mom would help me run across narrow paths and my dad always helped me with that sewer escape on Rilgar. Played the shit out of that game

Attached: 1557766443186.jpg (303x303, 11K)

Played CnC Generals Zero Hour (with and without mods), Company of Heroes and Yuri's Revenge with my dad. We would always team up against max AI on the hardest difficulty. He usually plays aggressive assault with tanks and artillery while I backed him up with air/infantry support as well as defending both our bases.
We played 3-man Operation Stonewall with my cousin one day for hours in Company of Heroes and we had a fucking blast.

Attached: 1566839441926.jpg (1024x1003, 93K)

Owned my dad at some weird aikido game a couple of times and he never played again.
