Everyone I've had high respects for somehow fucked up and made it impossible to hold them in high regard

Penumbra overstayed its welcome and they fucked up by nixing combat entirely for the shittiest "puzzles" and "stealth" of all the video games, but SOMA was okay.

And to be frank, they're better off marketing their games as interactive novels if that's the legacy they choose.

No one developer (person or company) is consistent enough while simultaneously remaining active to have my attention or respect.

This, expect I would consider Control a 9 and Alan Wake an 8. Hoping to god they don't get bought out by Sony and kinda hoping for it at the same time, ya know?
