I think this voice is pretty accurate to what I imagine. Maybe a slightly higher pitch. I imagine him being incredibly verbose and somewhat proper in his speech, but he’d speak in unnatural vocal shifts (maybe something like glados but without the robotic auto tune). His speech would also be accompanied by weird noises and cackles as he restraines himself from just killing whoever he talks to.

i like the idea that he's actually very verbose and articulate when he wants to be but it's just a front for his sadistic impulses he indulges in more often than not

My headcanon is that Samus and Ridley have only had two conversations; once when she was a child and again before their first fight in the original Metroid as depicted in the manga. Since then Ridley has learned not to fuck around and that Samus is no fun as a conversationalist.

I like to think when he's on the ground with his wings folded he speaks calmly and properly, but when he starts flying his true nature comes out and he can only speak in pterodactyl screeches.

I imagine Ridley speaking intellectually when it comes to pirate science projects, and then when he goes out to battle he just starts going fucking ballistic
