I started playing it after randomly downloading it a week ago. It feels like a ds game from 2008 and not like janky mobile shit, I like it.

I played it for a short time when it was first released, and it was fun, but it had the big problem of being way too much of a grind. I don't actually mind that when it comes to mobile games, but DL had the problem of requiring active attention for its grind, playing that game was like having a fucking second job. You couldn't just let it auto battle the tedious shit like you can on most gacha games.
But honestly I think the thing that turned me off the most was how fucking terrible /dlg/ was. I've seen my share of shitty generals, I did my time in /lolg/ back in the day and I can say with absolute certainty that /dlg/ is the worst hub of shitposters and autism on this entire site.

I played it on the month it was released and got tired of the grind and the simplistic gameplay loop.

I am. Totally free player too. Have about 10.2k wyrmite, six ten pull tickets, 60+ single pull tickets, and a 5* ticket. I'm ready for the anniversary. Only unit I really want but don't have is Gala Cleo because I was too busy with life to think of rolling, but I'm confident I can get her on the next Gala.

I also quit after the first few months because of the grind and it is now WAY better. Like I’ve made almost a dozen 5* elementals since I picked it back up in April compared to the literally one I made from launch until early January.

Can’t wait for anniversary and a rerun of the dark facility event.
