if Obsidian were less retarded and incompetent it could have been even better and it could have blown Failout 3 out of the water easily.

It's good but the fact that the Legion were so half-assed disqualifies it from being great

I started playing this again heavily modded and everything was working fine, no crashes or other problems, but then suddenly after starting the game I have the missing-mesh exclamation triangles everywhere. I've even tried loading back to a previous save and it's the same there. This all happened after I left Vault 18 in New California (I wanted to do a FNC-FNV playthrough), but it was normal until I started the game later the same day.

I have around 125 plugins, so that can't be the problem.

Isn't it strange that it just stopped working seemingly without reason?

I'm doing my first playthrough at the moment. Minimal mods, just the community patch, fancier textures and Nevada Skies, which makes such a huge positive difference to the atmosphere it might be one of my favourite mods for any game. Gotta say playing NV has me much more interested in Outer Worlds, because this game is just great. The level of freedom to align with whoever you want really sells the world.
