animal crossing is one of nintendos few most popular games along with mario, zelda and smash bros. pretty sure not just girls play it cause I played this since I was a kid on gamecube.

I play AC games when they come out but then slowly play it less and less until I forget about my town and it withers away.

My gf still plays her Pocket Camp and New Leaf to this day.

I do and I'm scarily attached to all of my villagers. Midge, one of my villagers, ended up leaving the village due to me being to busy to play the game and I was actually depressed. I later realized that you can buy those amiibo villager cards, so I brought her back (she didn't have her memories though), and now have a back-up for all villagers so they never leave me

Its pretty chill, i never touched the games until new leaf and I definitely missed out. There's just something nice about living a virtual life where you don't have to worry about the passage of time and do mundane stuff.

I play it with my girlfriend, I like buying her gifts and going fishing together. Very cozy

I've never played an Animal Crossing game before, looks kinda comfy though, should I get this one when it comes out? Does it look good in comparison to the older games?

You can say what you want about Animal Crossing, but there hasn't been a comfier time on Yea Forums when New Leaf released in 2013.

We don't know enough about it yet. Although every mainline AC game has arguably always been better than the last, (although some swear by the original GC version because of how different it was) so if you're looking to jump in, keep an eye on New Horizons as it comes out.

I mean, why not? Animal Crossing is pretty damn wholesome, and there are guys who can appreciate that. It's a relaxing experience.
