Not that guy but I'm keeping my PS4 for yakuza, FF7 remake, death stranding and dreams. My favorites that are out already are infamous SS, bloodborne, spoderman, FOTNS lost paradise, judgment and uncharted. The list would be longer but there are games that have since been released on pc. There isn't a huge amount of great exclusives so I could understand if not enough interest you to justify the purchase, but it could very well be worth it if you could get a used one for cheap.

If you're gonna get upset about consumerism, why even get a Switch? Especially if you have no intention to play portably (which apparently became a necessity when the Switch came out?).

I could at least understand buying a console if they still had the convenience factor on their side. But nowadays they don't. The main draw they used to have over PC games was being plug-and-play. Buy game, play game, it just werks(TM). But now there's so much hassle to playing console games. Day 1 patches, tons of bugs that don't get fixed until later, variable performance due to different hardware configurations like pro versions, needing to fucking install games, etc. If I'm going to have to bother with that shit anyway, what reason do I have to bother with a console at all? Also the continued lack of local couch multiplayer means even less reason to bother with console over PC.
