I know it's autism, but I've never read manga. I'm worried about stupid shit like seeing the proper colors and fights, since the character design is a big reason I want to watch.

The One Piece anime is utter shit. Everything takes way too long so the pacing is fucked. However there's a fan project that I can't remember the name of that tries to cut all the filler out of the anime.. IIRC each "episode" is whole arcs condensed down nicely.

There's a digitally colored version (The image attached is from that version. However this is still quite early in the story. The digital colors get even better/nicer as the story progresses). I can't go back to the early black and white chapters because of how good the digital colored version looks.

No the only good animated arcs were the Marineford arc and the Sabody arc. Literally everything else is slow and badly animated

Purists might disagree but I feel color really helps clear up the chaos of One Piece.

For example:

>find the one piece
>find a porneglyph about the void century
>world hears the news
>everybody is on the way to the straw hats
>big war between everyone since every single supernova wants to be the king
>if still alive, shanks and the other yonkos join too
>marine is here to put an end to the great pirate era
>enel comes from the fucking moon to have a rematch vs luffy

Its the anime but all the filler is cut off, its only like 300 episodes i think.
1 episode of one pace is like 3 normal ones from the anime and even then it just clocks in at 30 mins
