the new game comes out in October and 2k series have been getting better overtime, but this will be 1st main game without Yukes at the helm since All Stars so that would be a good jumping on point since it's supposed to have (another) revamped control scheme so I wouldn't buy 2K19 since it's prices will be slashed to nothing soon.
