Calling it now, it'll have easy inputs with nothing more difficult than quarter-circles or even a cooldown system. Most likely be 2v2/3v3 along with some dumb mechanic like dragon dash from DBFZ. People will try it out for a few days and then give up after losing to others with actual knowledge of fundamentals. Riot will then try to dumbdown the game even more until not even the average fightan game player will want to play it.

Also, old lore is still canon since we have multiple alternate universes confirmed by some skins, warden are actually from the summoner's academy universe, everything between Riot abandoning the summoner academy lore as the central lore, and the new map of runeterra is non-canon (except certain events like bilgewater.)

Not really sure. Its just been stated, mainly in Veigar's lore, that yordles are notably weak to isolation. It was in both his old and new lore, even if the stories are different. One detail of the new one though is that Veigar doesn't even remember Bandle City or the other Yordles anymore.

That's always been one of the weird parts of Veigars lore, they say that yordles are weak to isolation and need social contact to stay sane, but then the timeframe is that which a normal human would go nuts anyway, which doesn't really make it seem special, we only know it's that way because they tell us it. It's not like they need to socialise literally every day or they start to crack, otherwise Poppy wouldn't work.
Maybe it's just riot writers not knowing how quickly humans crack in isolation.

The Glamours might be to keep humans from abusing them as well. In Veigar's new lore, he was a kindly Yordle sorcerer who disguised himself as a human and went to the humans to teach them magic after their society was unheaved with war. The idea was to teach them magic to help them rebuild, but Mordekaiser knew what Yordles were and recognized what was happening, and kidnapped him. Then forced him to use his magic for foul purposes.

With Smash, Tekken and (current era) SFV rosters being comparatively fuckhuge, they can't afford a small one if they don't want the "game's dead on arrival" squad coming in droves. Those games have had years of development to get to where they are, but since Riot has so much cash, they can afford to splurge. Especially if Rising Thunder devs already have the groundwork laid out.

Anything less than 20-25 would leave them in wannabe-tier, and the game would have an uphill climb to get a positive perception. If the game is solid but casuals shit on roster size/choice or aesthetics, it could take years to make the game's scene worth investing into.

So much of the artistic stuff is already designed for them, as they have several years of Riot's work to pull from. Locations, characters, models, stories, comics, videos and even all the community memes. If they just took the framework from another game I'm surprised the game isn't out in some sort of beta already.

Roster size though? 30-40 feels right for a company relying on getting enough people invested in a handful of their favorites from League to want to check the game. That example list has only 3 characters I ever cared about for example. They'll want to get as many peoples eyes on it as possible, especially if they're monetizing this shit.

Well if Teemo and Trist are anyone to go by, Yordles still get involved in wars/conflicts. The bigger question is if they get into conflicts with themselves or if it's always another species they're fighting against.

Because she's the chosen one the hammer is looking for, that's the whole shtick of her character. Poppy is definitely strong but no where near strong enough to do the shit she does without the hammer. The lore specifically says the last hammer's user was said to be able to level mountains with it.
