Forza Motorsport 7 (Devs with no taste and a pretty bad community). Avoid the Horizon games, terrible games that helped destroy the franchise.
F1 2019 if you want to LARP as an F1 driver.
Ride 2 or 3 for motorcycle arcade game. (Ride 2 being the nicer one in my opinion).
Assetto Corsa for the cheapest and most moddable sim-esque game. It has Initial D mods and Wangan stuff. Watch out for shady mod websites.
The Crew 1 for the best open-world "cruising" game and cross-country races,it has several good mountain roads. Avoid The Crew 2 like it's the plague! They completely ruined it.
Dirt Rally 1 (Second game still has A LOT of issues and a lot of the content from the first game is locked behind paywalls).
There's plenty of good games from the earlier 2010's and 2000's, and even stuff from the 1990's that's worth checking out. A general rule is that older racing games have more "soul" and felt like they were made by real fans and more complete. Compared to someone like Turn 10 (Forza devs) which seem to think it's a good idea to add 50 SUV cars and literal off-roaders to a closed-track racing game with asphalt, but not add any actual racing cars.

NFS3HPSE was good for its time but High Stakes has all the cars and tracks plus it had plus its own new cars and tracks with improved AI and better driving.
If you can get over the shitty graphics it's the best old-school NFS game.

It's the open-world Forza with worse physics and all that. Incredibly small and pretty shitty maps to drive around on and basically nothing to do. It's noticeable how Horizon has helped throw Motorsport down the toilet. The first Horizon game (Which was decent) came out one year after Motorsport 4 which is what I consider to be the last good Forza game before they started becoming the terrible Motorsport 5 and 6 with no content. Motorsport 7 has bounced back a bit but it's still lacking support, glitchy as shit, and missing old cars that for some reason Horizon has got. Even some cars from Motorsport 4 have recently been added to Horizon 4 (The latest Horizon game) but Motorsport 7 hasn't gotten anything besides a bunch of crap literally nobody asked for.

Sunrise was the best and I dare anyone to refute this

The games alternate in focus, 7 is unlikely to get much further support because 8 is currently in development, when it's out it'll be the focus of new content while Horizon goes on the back burner ready for 5.

If you prefer Motorsport over Horizons more simcade focus that's fine but you don't need to be a dramatic faggot over it.

Had the chance to extensively try the game some a month or so ago with an XBOX live free month or something, PC.

Game is literally trash: while the presentation, aesthetics and overall look is good if not even great, the mechanics and balancing are a literal joke. The way multiplayer is structured is straight up pathetic, and the recent introduction of "anti wall-riding" mechanics made it so if you even so slightly touch a wall on a straight the game cuts your engine for 5 seconds if not more.

Uninstalled that shit like the plague and got myself Motorsport 7, didn't look back.

Got back into F1 literally 3 races ago. Hockenheim race was fucking incredible.
Spa was also great, really happy for Leclerc, even though I am rooting for Seb, and that Ham chase at the end got me nervous, the way he was catching up.

I don't really like Max. He's a talented driver, but his temper really ruins everything about him.
