So assuming I got a torrent for SE and spent forever modding it and all that, what's the funnest way to play Skyrim?

I got a decent amount of fun out of my last run where I did usual archer shit, but with the aiming reticle turned off, and not a ton of stealth. Going for long distance shots just by eyeballing it finally gave the game some actual challenge. Issue was that when sneaking the sweet spot for aiming was nowhere in the right place iirc, but I got a mod that god rid of the sideways aim at some point I think.

Casters arent that great without mods to add spells but you mileage will vary because not all those mods are too great depending on what your looking for.

The save will increase in size, but auto-saves tend to bloat quicker because of the constant overwrites and the frequency of them.

I can tell you for a fact that in my thousands upon thousands of hours modding Skyrim, my CTDs have dropped significantly since stopping auto-saves.

Oh yeah, haven't played oblivion over 10yrs. Mostly just openmw (rly just bugtesting and sending patches their way)

Requiem is the worst part about ultimate skyrim to me. I love the atmospheric shit, the revamping of perks and skills, the new NPCs, etc.
But requiem just kind of sucks. It's way too hard and demanding without actually balancing anything in the game to make it fair. Being skyrim, dying to a glitch is fairly likely, and so having permadeath is a completel masochistic experience. Furthermore, with the random spawns the game gives you, you may find yourself far from a city, yet paradoxically incredibly ill equipped to face the slightest of threats outside the city walls. I understand the purpose and the goal of ramping up the difficulty, but without actually significantly improving the clunky combat or making QOL changes, it just feels fake.

Skyrim is more stable when using MO2 (it still crashes though - let's not fool ourselves here, stepping on certain pieces of gravel will still crash the game... just less so)
Being able to toggle on and off mods (without deleting them), confident that ALL traces of it are not being used in your game is a godsend (texture replacement mods particularly)

Sorry, the things I said were about MO2, not vortex.
As for cleaning saves, I've never looked into it. I've always just been okay carrying on with a different mod list or just starting a new game when the mod I remove is too big to carry on without. The game is pretty good at carrying on with mods being removed though.

CBBE, TBD is based on it, so any cloth or armor that has cbbe support also can be converted to TBD

Just make sure when you do that you have all of your mod settings written down (ALL of them) and that you know which mods you want.
I guarantee you'll want to do a completely clean install of Skyrim though. Kinda defeats the purpose of MO2's VFS if you have remnants of old mods left in your Skyrim directory.

Skyfem is the name of the female mod. You need to do some extra stuff to get it to run, so make sure your modlist is finalized before you decide to install it. Also yeah the futa mod is just the SoS addon
