What lies in the future for Honoka, and Dead or Alive in general? Assuming we get any more mainline games, will they build on what they started with her in DOA6? She's essentially the main character now, if not the 'face' of the series, and Ayane seems genuinely drawn to her as someone who might have more understanding of how her life has gone than Kasumi ever could. Will they try to train her as a ninja? Will Honoka try to get Ayane to open up and not be so fucking grim and snarky all the time? What are your thoughts?
I like honkers, and while I do feel like Kasumi has kind of lost the "face of the series" title, I don't really feel like Honoka is the one to pick up that title.

They'll never come out and admit it because then they might have to pay for making a character enough in her likeness that they run into legal trouble. Given TN's penchant for basing DOA characters off of real life people or other game characters (looking at you, notKaede), and Ai's current popularity, it's very likely though.
Series prognosis looks grim. I doubt that it'll be able to recover from its current state. TN will need to take a good hard look at the franchise and see what they could take from the latest franchises failings, but I really don't know if they are willing to learn from their previous mistakes.

have you experimented with the bromide stuff at all? it says the affinity level between the characters affects the skill somehow but I don't have any combo where I could test it out at the moment
how I think it can be used is by slotting in a different person's bromide in first, that should let you use the other stuff of that character, too as in you should be able to slot in a say Kasumi bromide in the main slot for Kanna and then put more Kasumi stuff there in the other slots and I guess their affinity level will affect how often that skill activates hmmm, I wonder if the skills stack if the SSR swimsuit has the same skill as the bromide
