4/4 (Blood Money, God Hand, Vice City, Dark Messiah); not very deep in Hitman or Dark Messiah at all but I've enjoyed them so far. They're both outside my wheelhouse.

1/1; I suppose Wii Sports is remarkably polished for a pack-in title. Every time I see it mentioned in these threads I understand it a little better. Honestly, I prefer Nintendoland.

I guess I was kind of a poorfag and Wii Sports was something I sunk a lot of hours into because it was packed with the Wii. I consistently enjoyed it. I could go play Nintendoland now, and it's probably an objectively better game, people have said the same about Wii Sports Resort, but even though those are better games, and there are objectively better games out there, its on my 3x3 because of the time I spent with it.

It's an Open World RPG that's fantastic at everything except the open world and the RPG elements. The world is pretty much empty beyond the dungeons and two (2) actual cities, there's about 3 or 4 worthwhile sidequest lines, and the damage/stat calculation is too simplistic and just leads to "get better gear or do no damage", but if you can get past that (and the admittedly dull first ~60-90 minutes) then it's one hell of a game.
The combat is a ton of fun to learn relative to basically any other ARPG out there; being directed by Itsuno you have more grounded versions of moves you'd find in full-blown action games, only limited by your stamina. The climbing system makes fights with large monsters much more engaging than it would be otherwise, as does the Pawn system, the Augment system, and small idiosyncrasies of the system and vocations (for example, Rusty weapons have shit stats but inflict Torpor status which is incredibly useful). The dungeons themselves are a lot of fun to traverse and fight through, which makes the sprawling Bitterblack Isle added in Dark Arisen legitimately better than the base game's gameplay content by a mile.
The lore, characters, and overall story of the game is also fascinating in a way I don't want to spoil if you know nothing. It'll take some reading and a couple playthroughs (and completing Bitterblack) to really get, but man, I can't think of anything that does what it does. The music is also really great, even if the J-Rock main theme of the original release was removed in Dark Arisen.
It's still a very flawed game in some ways, but it offers things no game ever did before and no game has offered since, and it's confirmed that the game has literally half the planned content due to scheduling problems and Capcom meddling (Itsuno was literally going over to Ninja Theory to help put together DmC's combat while working on DD). Many of the fans know this and are hungry for a sequel.

Flat Zombies: Cleanup and Defense. Insane production values for a mobile game. Limb destruction, recoil, the whole 9 yards. They add new guns often and it's a great little time killer. Don't get put off by the shitty translation.
If you want a more complex game I'd go for Degrees of Lewdity. I use it as an exhibitionist shota simulator. Not on Google play so you need to manually install the APK, takes about 5 minutes.
