How does it feel not to know Japanese in 2019? Missing out on so many gems and having to suffer bad localizations constantly?

Being a normal fucking person with reasonable free time is how it feels

KAWAII DESU NE~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ^_^' BAKA

That's fine I sold my PS4, Xbox One, and switch to pay rent. I'll be killing myself soon.

>Missing out on so many gems
Name them

I'm learning I'm learning, don't rush me.

日本語は英語よりとっても難しい言語だよね。

I wish I didn't have to sleep

Better to know English than Japanese

That would take way too long, silly billy.

Better know both than only one. No one is impressed that you know English, dude, even if you are ESL. I know 3 languages fluently myself, there's no excuse nowadays.

OK because it's impossible to learn japanese.

>tfw you don't know that feel
Playing Ikusa Megami Verita at the moment.

Feels like I'm not mentally retarded.

they're not mutually exclusive

>Missing out on so many gems
I've been playing games in Japanese for a while and I honestly ask you, which fucking gems are you talking about? Out of the 2 last games I've played in JP that I thought were really good, one was localized and the other is getting localized in some 8 months.

>All those untranslated porn games.
I think that's my only reason to learn japanese

ウイ・アル・オール・ゴーイング・ツ・メーク・イット、ブラー君

>having to suffer bad localizations constantly
I have yet to experience this, user.

Japan is only where it is today because we bombed and cucked them.

Unless you play Western games exclusively you are all the time, you just don't realize it.

Goodness gracious. I could go on all day listing exclusive masterpieces. You could at least specify a platform. Though I'm going to sleep now so maybe another time.

Isshen I don't think will ever be translated.

Feels good. I don't even know english. I don't know anything.

>Unless you play Western games exclusively you are all the time, you just don't realize it.
Sorry user, not how that works.

>Isshen
Ishin. Stupid fat fingers.

Also Kenzan hasn't been either. That might be the one that has problematic issues now that I think of it.
I doubt either will get a western release though.

As a Japanese speaker, I wish I learned Mandarin.

Japanese manages to take Chinese and make it even more convoluted and less efficient.

>Goodness gracious. I could go on all day listing exclusive masterpieces. You could at least specify a platform. Though I'm going to sleep now so maybe another time.
Yeah okay, I see what you're doing.

>Play localized game from Japan
>switch voice language to Japanese
>subtitles are for the English dub
>forced memes and ham-fisted political statements every other sentence

Not him, but some day I want to play the entire Rance series. Nothing motivates a man like his dick.

Feels great not understanding and not giving a flying fuck about japanese desu, would honestly destroy my interest if I were to see a Jav and actually understand the retarded plot number 616136236 about why some housewife who got raped is being blackmailed into letting her get gangraped to not show the rape to husband whatever fucking titles they put into them

I'm not a fucking asian lmao but I can say I'm distressed over not enjoying the latests eroges and VNs

Why should I care about learning Japanese when the superior language "Mandarin Chinese" Is going to become as big as English someday.

What games will help me learn Korean?

>As big
You mean bigger.

tldr: But I tried for a little while, right before I started learning Spanish, but I doubt i'd ever be able to do any more than speak it.

Yeah, my bad.

I've been learning but pretty slowly. I've got a grasp on all the basic grammar. I'm just missing a ton of vocabulary and flash cards are fucking gay. I guess I'll have to use them eventually though

Oh and the Black Panther games but those were on handheld instead of console and pc like the rest of the series. I don't think were very good though.

Honestly don't care, I barely care about vidya anymore. Why waste like 4 years learning something for a hobby I'm probably going to drop completely in a less time than that?

I mean yeah but I connect with Japanese culture more and knowing Japanese will certainly help with business opportunities. I mean so will mandarin but everyone and their mama is learning mandarin so Japanese speakers will be in higher demand and likely paid more

I already speak English. there is no purpose for another language.

>learning a dying language

Best way to learn Japanese?

What's the point? Anything that isn't already dubbed/subbed to English is probably not worth playing anyway.

As a general rule. Every rule has exceptions though.

Pretty bad. Actually scratch that. I feel really bad about it. Not for video games or whatever shit though. I'm just a dumb weeb.

Pretty bad, actually, but it has very little to do with video games.
