How the fuck is this game so fun?
How the fuck is this game so fun?
legitimately the most fun game I've played in a long time
>start by playing it as a cover shooter, it's boring
>think to myself what the fuck am I doing this for
>start using my powers constantly
>zipping in and out of combat
>use melee to break shields and stumble enemies
>launch to toss their bodies and grenades around
>zipping between groups of enemies and alternating between shotgun and grenade launcher to deal damage
>every time I dash into a group of enemies and deal damage they drop enough health to regain what I lost
>pulling up a huge ass shield that grabs nearby chunks of wall, chairs, desks, and dashing into a huge-ass trooper while tanking his shots before launching it all into his face
>gain levitate
>now flying all over the map and groundslamming enemies
fuck dude the combat in this game is so fucking good
People like being super heros and Control gives you fun superhero powers.
Combat in this game is horrible, I don't know what you were playing but it wasn't control.
What don't you like about it?
Combat in this game is fucking great. Flying around and raining hell on Hiss never gets boring
>t., spent the whole game pressing crouch behind a stair railing
Being limited to only 2 gun forms, throwing shit being beyond broken in terms of damage and ease of execution, poor enemy diversity, generic powers.
I find it funny that the crouch button becomes useless as soon as you get the dodge
The little touches really make the game for me. I didn't notice it until the end but things like levitate and launch actually levitate things in a field around an object. When you float around an office area telephones, magazines, cups, etc. will levitate up into the air and float around when you get nearby, and if you get close to any lights they'll start flickering on and off, just like you're the poltergeist the benicoff tv set is referencing
