either one is way too good for a bland MC like Rex
Luis Kelly
They are both data of pneuma of the original AI of the trinity processor, the only difference is that one reveals certain information of that personality and hides the rest and viceversa.
I pick the gameplay, since it's nowhere to be found in this thread.
Evan Walker
The whole point of the sacrifice was Rex learning to let go and to stop being a babby. If she actually died it would've ruined his character development because it would've shown that his choice to leave her was selfish and that letting go of the one you love simply results in them being dead.
William Bailey
in my playthrough i actually never used Pyra again after I got Mythra so yeah I guess I did lie lol
Jaxson Nelson
>Rex learning to let go and to stop being a babby >If she actually died it would've ruined his character development
What the fuck?
Jace Roberts
Ironically, Mythra is the one with the non-existant personality.
Nolan Murphy
I'm more of a Pyra man, besides, as you said I feel like she's the one Rex started his adventure for. The promise he made was with her.
Pyra can cook. Mythra only takes one bath like every hundred years. The choice is easy.

If Pnuema actually died It would've proved Rex made the wrong choice and that he should've stayed with her to the end. The fact that she didn't die shows he made the right choice as if he had stayed they'd both be dead.
Hi E7fag, how have you been? I haven't seen you in a while.
Parker Adams
He wants Shulk to marry Fiora though. Don't forget >lost his arm because of the Monado >one of his two associates is a traitor that always wanted him dead out of jealousy >the other one has been plotting on the back of everybody for decades
James Collins
i see this is going to be another "xfag makes half the posts in the thread and eventually gets all of them deleted at once, where it's revealed he talks less about gameplay or even video games than anyone else in the thread" episode
Owen Rogers
Cute! CUTE!!
Robert Flores
Listen, man. If we're gonna call Skies of Arcadia mainstream, you have to give some love to Ryudo in Grandia II. Man gets the angel and the devil.
the monado was never Dunban's "signature weapon," he only used it because it was his duty and he has no wife/kids because he spent all his time being a soldier and watching after Fiora after their parents passed

You're trying to rewrite the ending by making it completely nonsensical. She literally gave him her core crystal why the fuck would she die.
the only thing i don't get is why both of them come back at the end the one you chose during chapter 9 is the one that should have come back
Benjamin Cruz
Because it's the exact direction the scene was going? Because the writer outright admitted he only brought them both back because of fanservice?
Kayden Rogers
What is this webm? a mod?

I pick the sacred ointment.

They both lost their memory anyways so it really doesnt matter. Any other scenario doesnt work.
If you pick one youre picking both.

That would be Praxis

To reduce the work on making two versions of the cutscene, that's why it just zooms in on the girl you chose. To hide the fact that they're both saying it at the same time and your choice just controls the camera shot in the scene.
>To reduce the work on making two versions of the cutscene You mean putting a single model into a scene and reusing an animation is too much work?
Kayden Gomez
If she had died we we'd be discussing how her death made absolutely no sense. The only way she could've possibly died in that situation is if she was completely retarded or suicidal.
Landon Jones
I see you haven't gotten your daily dose yet. You won't need tiddies where we're going.
Daniel Evans
In the original ending, it was still implied she may have been alive, so you probably would have been fine with that.
Adrian Miller
He deserves it
Samuel Clark
Please doc, the dosage isn't strong enough. I need a stronger dose.
Just make a poll and stop rehashing this same thread already.
Charles Edwards
It's objectively more work than having the cutscene split and then play the same exact scene twice, but have the camera just track a little more off to one side.
Polls don't give peoples reasoning you fucking autist
Chase Wilson
The two models are already in the scene, so that's the double the work it would have taken to just drop one in.
Cameron Edwards
>But she's mommy bro >But tsundere is realistic bro
Literally the only arguments.
Jackson Thompson
No, he was always going to bring them back. What he did was make it ambiguous as to whether she kept her memories or not, since he couldn't go through with making a sad ending since a Pyra/Mythra without her memories is a completely different person.
the cutscenes already split- check the event theater, it gives you the option to choose between pyra or mythra for the lategame cutscenes
Josiah Jenkins
Blondie never showered for 500 years.
Gabriel Sanchez
Honestly if I'm forced to choose one then I'll go with Mythra, just because Pyra would take the loss better. She would understand the situation and making up to her wouldn't be as hard.
Landon Barnes
He said it was gonna end with the core glowing in Rex's hand and nothing more
Sebastian Mitchell
This. I can't believe people still don't get that.
He said there were many concepted endings. The one they were originally going to go with was them coming back with no memories, but it ended up with a debate among the dev team.
The most soulful element of a jrpg, which is 50% of its soul, is the music. And DQ fails hard in that department. And orchestrating shit compositions doesn't make them any less shit.
I don't agree with him that the music of DQ is shit but I do agree that a game with good music is eventually good but one with bad music can be a pain in the ass.
Jonathan Hill
Matt Mercer voices the protagonist.

Dq is way more populat than Xeno. How is that a question

Nobody cares about your slutty used sex doll.
Adam Martin
That it wraps all the loose ends from the first X game.
For a jRPG, it absolutely does need to be good. You can judge how much soul was put into a game from its music alone. Same for anything, really. And even when the rest of the game is shit, the music alone can carry it. I could stomach a turd like Octopath thanks to its music alone, or KH.
Replay the game, and make sure you see EVERYTHING this time.
Brody Russell
Better story, for the MC to actually be a character and not a drone.
Kevin Moore
Post the archer Pneuma.
Blake Scott
Lao as the protagonist. More story focus, because X's lore and world building went absolutely nowhere with how much there was. Obvious Conduit/Zohar shenanigans.
You're mistaking a sex crazed manslut for a Chad. Chads get sex for free, but that's not the Chad's goal, true Chads stand above virgins in more than just sex, to think a Chad only cares about sex is a virgin's idea of what a Chad actually is.
This is tough. On the one hand I love Pyra but on the other hand I don’t want to make Mythra feel worse......I can’t choose both and since Nia, Morag, and Poppi weren’t listed as options I’m considering them to be out of the question. So......As tough of a choice as it is.....I think I’d choose Pyra. Who or what Pyra is does not matter. What matters is that you have a deeper bond with Pyra, since not only was she the one to save your life. But Pyra also is a better cook and is a more motherly figure. However. If lets say they somehow became real. Real physical beings in our universe. I’d likely spend a lot of time with Mythra because (besides not wanting to make her jealous) I’d rather not make her situation worse. I don’t want to reinforce her insecurities or make her feel worse about herself. However I’d still be spending more time with Pyra because that is who I chose.
TLDR; The correct answer is Pyra. I’d say both but that isn’t an option.
Do you think one would tell you to cum inside and swap out to the other without their permission
Sebastian Wilson
I know this post is autistic. But still. You can’t deny that if we want a true answer we’d either have to ask Takahashi himself or analyze Rex as a character and then base our answers off of “Ok if he was forced to choose and could not choose both, who would he choose canonically”.
I don't know for sure when "not being an asshole" got equated to "not having a personality" for female characters, but I blame the proto-anime-feminist fangirls of the 2000s who watched shonen for the shipping and needed an excuse for why they hated the main heroines.
John Rogers
>ホムラ (覚醒) >Pyra (Awakening) Choice is obvious, it's Pyra.
Oh, I don't claim to know anything about the industry. I just think that's where that particular stock criticism comes from, because on its own it makes no sense but it was a common complaint from that crowd online.
Adrian Harris
I mean Mythra wasn't an asshole with Rex in context she is very patient with him. She Is very much Tsundere, but she doesn't hidden how she feel about him or negate the impact he have in her life.
Okay, I'm and tired of zoomer pretending they understand the anime industry at all, I see kids like you who at anime fans they met at school or on the internet and think they're every single anime fan of anything ever.
But Pyra is a shadow of Mythra. Mythra would've done what Pyra did if she hadn't split herself up. Mythra is the best choice either way because short hair is for men and have no business on women >m-muh pixie cut. That shit's for dykes.
>tfw the ending of the game made me really sad because we'll never see these characters again At most, we're gonna get Rex and Pyra cameoing in XBC3 like how Shulk, Fiora, and Elma did.
James Ramirez
>pyra >mythra Faggots use their real names not their slave names
Rex was in love with Pyra. Taking Mythra over Pyra just feels wrong, considering he started his whole journey for Pyra. Even though it sucks for Mythra, she can still receive pity dickings since Pyra is eager to share.
If you played the game, you'd change that opinion.
Thomas Gray
>Which choice is objectively correct. The choice Rex made
Jacob Russell
Consider this: Mythra created Pyra to be everything she is not: a good cook, loveable and not a bitch. Now, Mythra is a tsundere and those suck ass when "getting into action" and are usually jealous as fuck, then what is Pyra? Well, there is a reason why most of the doujins put her a sex monster.
