Hey, I've been at my college res for 3 days and I get ignored by anyone I try to socialize with so I've just said screw it. Does anyone wanna some minecraft or something? I need a good server to start on

You want to socialize get a work study at the college, it’s basically a paid study hall you do an hour of paperwork rest of the time doing homework or chatting with the bonus of $10 a hour and setting your hours

Dang, are you able to go with a basic 16 week schedule next semester? Also consider taking BS classes like history or humanities online time management is key

Maybe. The shift can be kind of intimidating especially if you're more introverted, but the nice thing about colleges is that you're bound to meet like-minded people eventually because they're so large. Tell me about college. Is it your first year? Coming straight out of HS?

I didn't really get to pick a timestable. there are only 35 ppl in the program and we all have the same courses due to how much we have to crunch. It's rough but it cuts a semester out of the program

First year yeah. I've had the same friends since the 3rd grade so I'm not super outgoing or anything I tend to stay in my comfort zone. It's a decent sized college but from what I can tell there isn't a huge variety of courses to take here so everyone kind of sticks to their group

Yeah it's a certificate program. Normally 3 semester but this is the first year they're trying to compress it into one year.

Sounds like an attentionwhore to me. No idea why you would even bring up info about your personal life and experience if all you really wanted out of this thread was minecraft
