Kingdom Come

What does Yea Forums think about this game? I've been playing this it for ~90hrs and so far I've been enjoying it alot. I'll personally give it an 8.3/10 respectfully.

It's a lot of fun but the combat sucks and this is coming from a guy who loves the game. The combat is 4/10 while I think the game as a whole is 7/10 or 9/10 if you're into the medieval genre.

Is the dlc worth it? Seems kind of expensive. Do you need to start a fresh save or is it just additional short campaigns?

don't listen to the other guy user. The combat is the best part about this game, it just happens to be difficult to get into at first. The other user just didn't got gud.

I am interested in the "Woman's Lot" DLC. Thinking about buying it when it's on sale because I thought Teresa was honestly more interesting than Henry

I don't mind it. I only find it annoying when I'm fighting more than 2 bandits/people at the same time, now that's when it gets frustrating for me. Maybe I just need to get into more fights. I'm more of a talker in this game.

Not sure, I didn't even know there were any DLCs.

One of my favorite games of the generation. Truly a gem. It's so damn good and comfy to play. I just love the realistic medieval setting too, with no retarded, nonsensical armors and weapons for once. Story is solid too, but we need to see the next chapter of it.

I'm not a guy that plays games for hundreds of hours, but KC:D is my second most played game with 100 hours, only behind Dark Souls.

Once you feel it yourself and start learning combos, it flows real nicely. You can even pull off killing more than one enemy in style.

The thing is, when you start you gotta immediatly train as much as you can in the city to learn some moves, specially the defensive maneuvers. I believe some dumb anons tried to go straight into fights so they think it doesn't work or it's too hard.

I can't wait to see what they come up next. I just fucking hope it's not Epic exclusive like everything from Deep Silver these days. It would be my biggest disappointment in years.

Is the dlc worth it?

I'v just recently finished it after dropping the 1.0 version due to bugs.
The first half was quite enjoyable, you have a good amount of freedom and explore the world, do some quetst etc.
But then the game forces you into these crappy mass battles which the combat system is simply not built around.
Also shittons of cutscenes and endless interruptions in the sieges that break the flow and take control away.
You can't even make choices, it all turns into a linear shitfest.
Story was decent though, it's the execution that's lacking.

Unless you don't mind the price, yes. I think they are too short in content to pay full price, so i'd wait on a sale.

Woman's lot is the best of the bunch. The others are decent, but it goes by so fast it's kinda underwhelming.

does making the save potion still shotted you way up into the atmosphere?

Id fuck her.

Its on Game Pass for Xbone, should I give it a go?

Just confirming here, A Woman's Lot added absolutely nothing to the game but dogs that ruin stealth, and was generally as much a waste of time as any of the other DLC, correct?

Absolutely, user. It's a great game and they ironed out most of the bugs already.

>maybe I just need to get into more fights
No, it never gets better. The games combat is amazing for dueling but anything more than one on one is absolutely the worst the only way to make it suck less is to just cheese by bumrushing and skullcracking

/ecg/?

Dog doesn't ruin stealth, enemies ignore it unless you ask it to attack.
And it is by far the best DLC of the bunch, the questline with Johanka, the second part of the DLC, was my favorite in the whole game.

It does get better. Raise your skills, get better equips and it will feel MUCH better later. Sure, you won't ever be a one man army, but you can feel a lot of progress during the game.

That goes for every skill in the game. Feeling like absolute garbage at the beginning is part of the story, but it did get A LOT better for me with time.

The complaints say that dogs are added to enemy camps and they sniff you out and bark, and the dog perk doesn't work on them like normal watch dogs at shops and homes.

>he didn't master the bow
>he didn't master the blade
>he didn't become "Cumans Are Not Human" 'Enry
I routinely took on the entire bandit camp during the scouting machine. I was always so disappointed they didn't add any dialogue for that.

All i remember is that the guy has a mother that looks younger them him

To be fair people married and had kids really young. He probably isn't much younger than her. lol

A better RPG than Cyberpunk 2077.

'enry is around 23 or 24 is what the devs said in an interview, iirc. So she's probably somewhere in her late thirties, and Sir Radzig must like them young

Far better than TW3 too. I played it for a couple of days or longer but I just couldn't get into that game at all.. Kingdom Come just feels better.

I never got combos to work. Memorized only a couple, one of them being one which knocks the guy down. Should've been instant kill, instead you swing at the air until the guy gets up.
In the end found combos too hard too pull off, what with all the dodging, and underwhelming when connecting. Was much more efficient to clinch/master strike then stab, repeat.

It's one title where I am in favor for the easy mode meme. I liked the story and setting but didn't like the combat.

Fairly janky when I played it but I'm sure it's been cleaned up a bit since then.

>I only find it annoying when I'm fighting more than 2 bandits/people at the same time
Because fighting two guys at once in a sword fight is a death sentence, this game is trying to be realistic, not a star wars movie

Reminder Yea Forums was wrong and this game makes social justice Yea Forums seethe

>Does better than SJW gay fish simulator POE2
>Does even better than semi best RPG of its day, DivOS2

they said he's 27, which he looks

Not how I meant it.. it's because the combat system doesn't really fit for it.

optimized yet?

>he bought a womans lot

hahaha that dlc is meant for women players
