I take you like mecha games so switch also has the completely free warframe so you have three games.

The combat is way different from regular CUH-RAAZY character action games. It's more about positioning and tactics rather than memorizing attack combinations. There's also light detective work and silly character interactions. It's one of the best games on the Switch.

What about the bayonettas?

When does this game become good? I've just finished chapter 5 and it just doesn't click. Platforming is trash, and bosses are mediocre at the very best. Chapter 4 was actually decent enough and it felt like the game has potential, but chapter 5 is as boring as the first three. At this point I'm pretty much playing it for the story.

You can dash towards enemies, launch enemies and dash towards them, there's some vertical movement available, but all I'm saying is that there's no jump button. Feels weird.

3. Pyra is a vapid waste of space character wise, just there to sell body pillows. Mythra gets better fleshed out in Torna.
4. Xeno 2 takes elements from both X and 1 (open world design and story respectively)
5. Best chars are the villians imo, but Morag, Zeke, Poppi, and Nia are the standouts in the protag crowd.

Overall 8/10, but X has a more free open world and 1 has a better story

On the other hand, it has tons of elements from previous Platinum games such as a strangely in-depth version of the Manual Cutting mode from MGR, some solid shooting mechanics, and a wide variety of playstyles
Unfortunately not, though there's plenty of gameplay if you want to see what it's like

Some of the platforming things really piss me off because of how often you can get caught on the corner of a wall or some shit like that.

Other than that, I liked the game more as I played it. Doing aerial combos with the Legions dragging you to the enemies is fucking satisfying.

the combat is genuinely difficult to grasp at first, but once it gets going (around chapter 3-4 and beyond), it's the most satisfying shit HANDS DOWN in a video game for me.

The combat is so great but some things really could have been cut to improve the experience, like the too large exploration/detective chunks.

The ranking system feels like it's more about hitting checkmarks instead of playing really well. If you just do shit like perfect call, switch your legions around, multi bind etc you'll probably score high regardless of how much shit you eat

The heavy plat is in file 3 in astral plane where you meet the drone. After the douple pressure plate you have to stand on top the lowered cubes to access a side area with a mini boss. There are two chests, one with field items and the other olds the heavy police vest. There is nothing to be found in the astral planes in case 2 as far as I can tell

I usually beat games pretty fast, my playtime after credits was just over 21 hours, I did most of the sidequests I could find but looking at score screens probably missed about 1/3rd of them overall. There's also postgame challenges after credits I havent touched yet.

Noah prime made me shit out my dick for the first time in my playthrough. Second time was Olive's ARI case.

It feels like the team were really excited about the game they were making, from the game constantly setting itself up for sequels they hope to be able to make, to the art team deciding they needed over 160 enemy assets for no particular reason.

I played through the first two files with both genders just to make sure.

This game was absolutely designed to be played with the default male MC. The cutscene animations, facial reactions and personality of the twins feel way more natural and intentional with Male MC and female partner.

And it kind of sucks because I wanted to play female MC because I like her design more also you get way more ass shots with the camera focused on her but my autism wouldn't allow it.
