This is definitely someone trained in the subtle art of war crimes

Just installed this on Lutrix, lets see if this shit runs on Linux

Kiss my fists, meme build ghost

runs fine with some winetricks but i dunno what lutrix is

Lutris, sorry

why will i regret it

I actually mercy killed them all before gasing them
I hate the fact the little cat tries to fight too and instantly dies

Trying to decide if thermodynamicity is worth it

Is there a general order of areas you're supposed to progress through? I got through depot A after generous application of molotovs, grenades and good armour, but after that I've just been fucking around with no clear aim since most of the areas the game points you towards have tough encounters if you go there immediately. Running into a mugger in the core and getting oneshot, for example.

It's not and it's detrimental.

Dont forget the caltrops
Burrower poision or cave ear caltrops are amazing with war crimes

Hope you got Sure Step

how is it detrimental?

If you're a full metathermic, probably yes
If you're a pure wizard, nope, however, Hypothermia has some niche use

I still think the stalker ability to go into the roof is complete bullshit

COME OUT AND FACE ME

Lol, just use metal boots

Stealth knife.

Foundry is fairly easy and has lots of XP, camp Hathor has some fairly easy quests and you'll get to fight a death crawler. You can also explore the caves immediately surrounding SGS as there is a decent bit of stuff around there in terms of XP/loot

Fire and ice cancel each other out. Fire psi doesn't really have a flammable ability anyway.

>Fire psi doesn't really have a flammable ability anyway
It does with a feat

Spammable, I mean.

Am I making a mistake by not taking Expose Weakness on my sword & board time warrior? I planned to take it at 8, but so far I've been dealing with robots just fine using Temporal Distortion, and I could squeeze Psych-Temporal Acceleration into my build if I skipped it.

Attached: file.png (433x244, 24K)

i'm running on arch it's fine
I'm using steam though and I have to use proton 3.16-9 for it to work, the newer versions don't work for me.

>mfw cooked shot procs acid entanglement
Why would I ever need energy pistols when chem pistols have endless utility?

Attached: 1558087813598.jpg (680x486, 36K)

How can there be "War Crimes" if there isn't a war?

It also appears that ghosts are weak to Weeaboo Energy Katanas

Attached: local ghost weak to energy katanas.jpg (1920x1080, 405K)

>Am I making a mistake by not taking Expose Weakness on my sword & board time warrior?
No. Industrial robots, Burrower Warriors, Naga Protectors, Crabs in general.

You will need EW to actually damage them all.

apparently ghosts can't defeat technology either
you'd think their ghostly powers would bypass shields

Attached: file.png (358x173, 129K)

>Fire and ice cancel each other out.
Good thing you don't have to cast both on the same target.
>Fire psi doesn't really have a flammable ability anyway.
Ice does, which is the point.

APEX HARDCORE

-can only be unlocked after beating the game on DOMINATING
-items sold are worth 10% their regular price
-carrying capacity reduced by 50%
-grenade cooldowns are increased by 1 turn
-high efficieny energy converters nerfed to regenerating x% of energy lost to damage, at y% per round
-toxic gas simply deals bio damage each round/if moved through; no damage multiplication
-using psi abilities from 1 school will increase the action point cost of psi abilities from other schools
-forcefield functions as an energy shield against ranged attacks and has a certain amount of hp against melee attacks before failing (dependent on skill)
-all npc's have 30% greater detection & trap detection (bosses have 50% greater)
-bear traps dont function if they deal no damage, stronger enemies have shorter durations, and spotted traps use your traps skill vs their dodge
-some enemies (typically knife-users) will have black dragon throwing knives/crossbow bolts, and such traps can also be found
-trap location and type is somewhat random
-enemy placement is somewhat random
-npc's that spot traps or corpses will turn orange and search the map
-if spotted, all hostile npc's on that map will never turn back to green; yellow minimum
-npc's will not enter dangerous terrain (such as gas, fire, or traps) unless they have a clear path to you
-most hostile npc's, if they can't attack you on their current turn, will instead head for cover or distance
-if you are seen entering stealth in a controlled or partially controlled map, npc's will turn hostile
-each of the five tribal invasions will be lead by a boss tribal; old ice guy first, then eldran, then bone guy, then oyensorm, then magnar

Attached: repent zoner.jpg (246x250, 20K)

For sea wyrms, muties, and ghosts.

Also, aesthetics.

The fact shields fully absorb Magnar's ghost attacks and he takes fuckloads of damages from plasma attacks kinda trivializes the whole encounter

I wouldn't take Shield Bash if you aren't planning on putting at least 5 spec points into it. 3 for Reduced AP costs (so it becomes FREE) and then 2 for cool down so it becomes a 1 turn cool down, 0 AP cost attack.

Is this my reward for killing Magnar?

Attached: spoils.jpg (1920x1080, 417K)

Because chempistols only work well with organic targets, meanwhile energy pistols dab on everything in the game including ghosts.

Attached: The man who was fried to death.png (454x299, 49K)

well damage sometimes is an issue
especially when you're trying to conserve ammo in DC you need a LOT of vials probably close to like 1k if you're only using the acid pistol

I enjoy working against the Free Drones, because the South Underrail chapter are all obviously moron cannon-fodder while the intelligent Calendar Council is in the North. However, I also like working against the Protectorate, who are a little too much like old Biocorp Security for me to empathize with them. The fact they're controlled by an autocratic Apex-Technocrat with enough technology inside of him to live for hundreds of years doesn't help either.

Works great with Proton, and never had an issue with Winetricks either before I switched.

Back to discord with you, faggot.

A being of pure energy would be repelled by a shield of it, though.

>Boy, everyone is stupid but me
I see through your lies, tin can.

His concubines, yes

tin tin

Acid destroys robots totally.

but im on discord right now
discord and Yea Forums aren't mutually exclusive

Does this bother you?

What is the most predatory or obscene way to play this game? How can I be an ultimately terrible, vicious character in both mind and action?

It makes you a faggot, yes.

In reality, the only people I hate from the protectorade, are the CAU and Fraser, everyone else are decent people
t. tin can

Crafted my first energy pistol. Crit damage + smart weapon = op

Any other tips for a sword & board guy, considering you seems to be playing one? These are the feats I'm hesitant about, did you take them?

Let me set up my feats real quick and I'll show them to you.

Good builds for beginners?
I had a lousy time trying to learn the game while putting together a stealth sniper build, so I would like something more beginner friendly this time, please.

why are ghosts energy
i thought they were supposed to be some otherworldly shit

You know v, I fell for this game meme and was so frustrated that the story fucking sucked I kinda forgot that the game at least functions. I just finished atom rpg you fucks also praised here and yeah underrail looks like a masterpiece now.
Do you at least enjoy botes and sucking rats dick instead of surface and more detailed backstory or you just 'make builds' like a braindead nigger fags?

Where did the Discordfag touched you, user?

How do i get to the citadel of life? I see no way in

I like the way you think. Would you use any other traps? Who would or would you not gas on contact? I'm interested in a "kill 'em all" kind of run, where everyone and everything is against me. I imagine it to be quite difficult.

heavy punch, shield bash, dirty kick. go.

Cryo takes care of wyrms and incendiary takes care of muties. Ghosts get the broom
>using anything but acid and emp nades on robots
Adv. catalyzing belt makes acid blob pistols deal more than enough damage even on dominating. DC was an issue before Dude's quest though.

heh

I dont think so. If the gate to the institute will open for you, they yeah maybe.

post build pls

1. Nimble/Sprint - Riot gear with shields is heavy, nimble really helps with giving you more Movement. If you're some kind of badass then maybe Nimble can be skipped and a different feat gotten at level 1, but I really like it. Sprint is mandatory on any melee build.
2. Recklessness. You need this to crit. Recklessness + Focus Stim + Carved up will be most of your crit
4. Flurry. Obvious.
6. Grenadier - Another optional one, however Grenades are very important for a melee build. I use them constantly. I'm almost a grenade build as I am a melee build, honestly. The ability to throw a grenade, then use temporal manipulation and throw another grenade next turn has saved my ass constantly. If you want to skip Grenadier you can either get something like Shield Arm here earlier.
8. Cheap Shots - Incredibly strong and pairs very well with Critical Power, which we are 100% getting.
10. Expose Weakness - You can possibly get this earlier if you feel you need it, but have it by at least level 10. Necessary on a melee build.
12. Shield Bash - One of the best reasons to use a shield once you invest in it. Around level 12 you might actually have made a decent riot shield and can bash for more than your machete damage. We will be putting AT LEAST 5 spec points into it. 3 Into AP reduction then 2 into CD
14. Critical Power. Literally over powered. Your end game, best in slot weapon is the Red Dragon, which has 300% crit. Pair this with Crit Power and Cheap shots and I have 725% crit damage. My shield Bashes regularly crit for 1-2k.
16. Onslaught. Super strong, get it.
18. Shield Arm. I get it here because at level 18 you'll have gotten the shield bash AP cost reduction specilizations and it be be reliable, free damage
20. Boarding up. See above. Now you have a 1 turn CD, 0 AP cost shield bash.

I'm level 21, so I am not gonna give advice on where to go after. However some options are definitely Juggernaut, Armor Sloping and others.

Attached: sword and board feats.png (444x193, 7K)

>gloves
Get out of my sight.

go through the pirate base
you can stealth your way through pretty easily if you take the backdoor entrance
or you could slaughter them all

I like it. Would feel a lot more real.

LMAO

Attached: purification.jpg (1266x799, 67K)

Just to add real quick: The most "Flexible" feats I chose are Nimble and Grenadier. Everything else is pretty much mandatory. If you want to be very greedy you can try to skip both and maybe get some of the shield feats earlier, but Grenadier is seriously mega strong with Temporal Manipulation. You can, say, replace Nimble with Reckless and then get Escape Artist if you're worried about nets in Expedition.

My starting stats were:
STR: 9
DEX: 6 (For Grenadier. You can also potentially get 7 here and then put points into dodge to get Escape Artist if you like)
AGI: 6 (Sprint)
CON: 7
PER: 3 (Make sure to get detection goggles at some point to be able to see traps)
WILL: 3
INT: 6 (Cheap shots, potentially armor sloping later on)

I got my Strength to 12 and then put points into Constitution.

The moment you touch the gas, you will also turn into a mutant
Big mistake, boyo

Tchort should resurrect after a few turns as long as at least one mutagent tank is still active
would prevent cheesing that fight

I had room to get past but a "stray" grenade blew me to pieces

Haven't played since the expansion released, was going to try to get back into it but I felt I was too wishy washy on this one. Should I start over?

Attached: Capture.jpg (1911x961, 214K)

>Stealth TNTs the tanks
>Neural Overload
Nothing personnel

It's better to murder them all before setting up the gas bomb really

It's mainly suggested to start over

You stealth against him and a modified version of eye of Tchort starts ticking, once it reaches sufficient stacks it auto-destealths you

Yeah, didn't realise there'd be a fuckload of armed guards at the entrance waiting to blow me away.

>No fun allowed unless you beat the game how -I- want

Attached: 1560616805491.png (900x676, 410K)

now that's a good idea

how many stacks you need to destealth depends on your stealth skill, if you truly invested into it then you can take out a tank or 2 from stealth
if you're just trying to cheese it with some stealth gear and a cloaking device, the giant psychic abomination inside who's body you're currently standing finds you rather quickly

Cool, thanks dude.

>cheese it
>1v1 no stealth tank only gunfights are the only playstyle allowed if you do enough damage any other way it's cheating

mate the idea that you can't just pop the eye with a 360 noscope is a specific anti-guns nerf already
it's just the start of some ideas that would make Tchort challenging for any build

not him, but tchort is already decently challenging for shit like knives; the types that are going to stealth the tanks anyway; just leave them alone, its hard enough to get past all those tchortlings

Whats the skill check for getting the shotgun or 44 pistol at the beginning?

15 persuasion
also they're both shit

>if you're just trying to cheese it
But Dominating is all about cheese, why do you try to pretend otherwise? In fact even your "countermeasures" only make other cheese methods even more cheesy.
The more things you pick out the more you make other stand out, and this isn't "balanced" or challenging, it's boring and tedious.
This is an RPG and invalidating strategies and RP possibilities in the name of some supposed "challenge" that only mean bottlenecking people into your personally approved hyperspecialized pet builds does not make it better, which you still fail to understand.

Attached: 1554408775129.jpg (433x427, 86K)

You haven't played the game till you used the Shoddy Shotty all the way up till the end of Depot A.

Only the shotgun is shit, .44 is a superb beginning weapon. It shreds rathounds and azuridae.

I would make it so that if you're going to try and stealth against Tchort, you better have a massive stealth
maybe at the same time as doing that, buff stealth melee by giving them (and only them, stealth guns don't need a buff) a significant increase in stealth movement

The hammerer alone allows you to steamroll the tunnels at level 2 by spamming aimed shot, you don't know what you're talking about.

shotgun is 20

Fuck off already faggot

>not rushing the big eye and gouging it the fuck out as fast as you can on every drug made by man

Attached: speed of smell.jpg (1920x1080, 252K)

And what the dick were you going to do with 1000 pounds of shit on an uninhabited island in the middle of nowhere anyway?

Best chances at quality leather: Quinton at SGS, Fred at Camp Hathor, Eustace at mutie island. You'll more likely find better quality rathound/cave hoper leather by farming them yourself though. Padding and fabric is sold by too many merchants to mention.

I made a point of just leaving bags near every vendor where I would just drop shit waiting for the shop lists to refresh.
Good thing Al Fabet is too overburdened to pick that up, eh?

Melee stealth got so much better now I crafted a taser. Too bad I wasted two of my feats on improving throwing knives, they are absolute garbage.

Biocorp did nothing wrong

>Be a terraforming supercorporation
>Become so far up your own ass in terms of aesthetics that everything from a toilet-paper holder, to a bidet, to a keyboard, to a mop needs to be peak aesthetics
>Brag to all the other supercorporations about how attractive your employees are and how aesthetic all your products have become
>Biocorp drops massive amounts of biochemical gas on you, leaving all your items perfectly aesthetically in tact while murdering everybody who appreciated them.

The more I explore, the more I'm starting to think Biocorp really didn't do anything wrong.

I should be getting a jet ski parade for all the fucking crap i was put up with this expedition, and they can't even fucking bring my shit in their ship, no, i'm joining pirates next time, and letting them turn into native meal

Does this mean the Natives won't attack anymore? I killed Magnar.

Word. I should be getting 95% accurate throwing knives on enemies with an effective 132 throwing and 13 dexterity. Instead it's 70%. Least I can chuck grenades half a map away without fear of missing.
Why did Styg nerf Fatal Throw so the AP refund only works once? Grenade throwing then cleaning up with throwing knives was so much fun.

>trying to knife snakes on a jet ski

Attached: 1540512467681.png (367x417, 238K)

Guys i did it, i used cheat engine to change my portrait

>Why did Styg nerf Fatal Throw so the AP refund only works once?
Because people keep bitching about dumb things and Styg is stupid enough to actually listen.

When you leave the dlc area, time stops in that area. There are no quest timers, but tribals will attack the Aegis camp periodically. Aegis camp can be killed off, you can still continue the dlc with them dead.

Styg add nerve stapling
Gas was not enough

Attached: Drones.png (200x120, 3K)

Thanks!

Honestly wouldn't surprise me if it turned out Biocorp had something like that.

Yeah, fatal throw should be available earlier, shouldn't be just once per round, and throwing knives should have a lower base AP cost

Even Glowing Canine knew Biocorp were the good guys here.

I think throwing knives have a perfect AP cost, especially given how Fatal Throw works.
The problem is the hit rates, range and base damage, let alone the fact that cans and bots laughs at them.
Styg should fix the hitrates and add something like electric/plasma knives for them to not suck, as they are now it's really, really hard to justify even Fatal Throw when it won't work 90% of the time because of the shitty hit percentages.

is hit rate really the problem? you ought to be maxing throwing to use throwing knives anyway, and if you do max it, their damage is respectable

lol, no

Throwing knives are a meme and only good for black dragon poisoning.

>and if you do max it, their damage is respectable
It really isn't, even at 160 throwing, you'd be FAR better off just chucking nades at that point.

>he doesn't punch, knock out, or wrestle serpents with their bare hands from their jet ski

seriously, why the fuck do throwing knives cost more ap than fucking grenades?

roll that door
roll it up inside

different machete guy here, my biggest issue is landing flurry as the accuracy usually is around 70-80%, and it hits a lot less if the opponent has adrenaline.

Some DPS feats on the other hand (ripper, onslaught) felt unnecessary since most guys go down in a single flurry, especially once you start adding energy cores to your blades.

I would focus more on mobility and survival instead. For instance fancy footwork is a melee godsend.

The best defense is a good offense, and a powerful Energy Shield. Kill as many people as you can as quickly as you can and then your Energy Shield Emitter (which you use regardless of build) will hopefully keep you alive long enough to kill the rest of the zoners.

There's a trap door on the floor in the bottom left corner of the second floor.

>get Shark
>suddenly all my pirate allies change from blue (ally) to brown (almost hostile)
>Donnie pulls me aside and tell me that some Shark driver NTR'd his fellow banga and fucked off and now nobody respects Shark drivers
hahaha wow what else is there

Oh for fuck sakes. That one said lockpick 50, so I ignored it. Now I realize I picked up the key off that guys body later on. Thanks Yea Forumsros.

Also do you guys backtrack to SGS often to unload gear, and restock? Or will the mobs respawn?

Wish there was one stashed somewhere, really hate to kill a bunch of randoms after I managed to bullshit my way through the whole base.

How do you get in there without joining their faction before 'that' quest shows up?

>sending a weaaboo to kill me when i fucking war crimed the entire black sea and conquered the acorn with my bare fucking hands

I'm a fucking god

Attached: 23984729374.jpg (640x640, 179K)

>Also do you guys backtrack to SGS often to unload gear, and restock? Or will the mobs respawn?
Yes and yes

Holy shit, what?

The weaboo fucked off from the Dominating Bar before I could get there and now I have a corpse in my basement and a note that will never be checked off.

Attached: 1490222997317.png (376x260, 14K)

aw shit
what level are you on that you have 350 dodge?

Yeah, I dump stuff off often. Only generic animals respawn. Humans, robots, and "boss"-type animals stay dead forever.

is there any possible way of opening the acorn?

Attached: forest.jpg (2400x1856, 3.54M)

I still didnt face him, but this got me thinking
If I recall, he does have a plasma bladed weapon
Plasma usually deals fuckloads of damage because only little armours have actual decent energy resistances, the only ones being Super Steel and TiChrome metal armours.
Now, usually shields, particurally shields, fully absorbs energy attacks, but since it's a melee it considerably bypasses shields, making him an actual an effective assasin, since you got little defenses from his attack besides dodge, tanky super steel or acting first

Where does he spawns in your basement? I will throw crawler poision everywhere, but also want to lay down traps

Anyone know where the sub is in Expedition?

Apparently I found it but I can't remember where now.

I walk around with 372 at 25th level with infused siphoner gear, 10 agility, and nimble

but with jumping bean and/or adrenaline you can get there much earlier

i believe its in the far northeast corner

Northeast corner inside the blistering shores
Enjoy the crabbos

Maybe if you even knew what it was.

Thanks

oddity or classic?

oddity, but why would that matter?

just curious if you can actually reach those kinda levels on oddity

>if you're a 10 str 10 con chad
Look, it's not even that. You now look less muscular than random women. This is getting out of hand.

On Dominating they are everywhere around the base from the start.

Attached: spooky skeleton.png (1318x553, 763K)

The shark was actually one crazy dude who had his wife killed by the jetters so he used that to chase and kill them

of course
you can get to 25th before DC without expedition
and to 30th with expedition, before DC

He instantly spawned for me on the rail road crossing, but he somehow missed his attack and only attacked me once? Since he wasted a turn poisoning me with black dragon, after that i just melt his boot on the ground and proceeded to pop a fart grenade and watch him slowllllly die, for trying to killl the motherfucking invictus

I hate how veteran levels basically double the exp requirement, i doubt i will hit 28 at best now if i clean up before dc

>and watch him slowllllly die, for trying to killl the motherfucking invictus
The who now?

Attached: fucking LARPers.png (806x140, 99K)

deathman, fighter of the lifeman. champion of the doc

Better than a hard cap on levels.

>I hate how veteran levels basically double the exp requirement
Fuck sake, I didn't know this

They go 61, 62, 63, 64, 65 exp.

I love how you casually drop all the time you are the invictus in expedition but nobody has a damn clue and just go along with it, this game has made me laugh so hard so many times

Attached: 1322064135916.jpg (432x585, 173K)

Do you guys prefer Infused Bison Tabis for the Fortitude or Infused Greater Siphoner for immunity to Slow?

Attached: 1566707286507.png (200x209, 15K)

Infused Cave Hopper for FASTER.

There is nothing shameful in abusing screen transitions to fight enemies.

he only stocked 2 for me. when does he get more?

Cave Hopper.

Cave hopper
t. Tin can

I wanted to use Cave Hopper but the quality is just worse than everything else.

there is nothing shameful in abusing anything in this game to fight enemies
why would you choose not to exploit an advantage that you have

It barely even matters for infusion. You'll still get an 100+ infused leather with decent fiber.

If you want quality hopper, just grab the one from the hopper graveyard and infuse it.

Quality per se doesnt matter, you just want the Sprint cooldown and the extra movement speed using infused leather

where?

South of the mushroom cave behind some rocks. You'll know it when you see it.

Somewhere on the southwest parts of the lower caves

if this doesn't get me hired, i don't know what will

Attached: 20190902132229_1.jpg (1920x1080, 245K)

infused siphoner if you have dodge/evade
infused pig if not and use ranged or sledge
infused hopper if not and are lighter melee

in general that's what I'd use

I made infused hopper leather with like ~110 quality. A bit disappointing that it gives the same MS as my last pair, but the 5 CD sprint is pretty awesome.

Ok so people told me i would change my mind about not genociding the natives when i go the abyss station, but that just reinforced what i thought

They were just corrupted by a psi entity stone, and thus became valuable legacy

I have a feeling if stygy ever release another game, it is all gonna be about psi and maybe robots

Any tips on dealing with crabs for a firearms/temporal build?

Aww, who let you little guys out of the Deep Caverns?

What is the required agility for the Marsh in Expedition? To be able to get through it easily.

run nigga

they show up there in dominating?

Yuuup, they dead now.

Somehow they are adorable
They fucking murdered the death stalkers in the Core Tech facility

>to much of a brainlet to understand music theory

Attached: 1542592394259.jpg (600x350, 23K)

Yeah, they murdered those muties in my pic despite their acid resistance.

cute little monsters

>how to deal with XXX

The answer is always warcrimes, throw gas/napalm, or else buy armor penetrating bullets

Most range from 8 to10, but one in there is fucking 20 if tha'ts even possible

>20
wtf bre

Well I got 8 right now so I'll grab some food and some agi boots.

I believe 18 is possible with pure stat investments but you can easily get +3 with cave hopper gear and steak

It is totally worth it since it lets you skip 2~3 screens worth of 200 critters and death

>Most range from 8 to10, but one in there is fucking 20 if that's even possible
it is

you can actually get 20 str and agi at the same time
maybe other combos are possible, haven't checked

He spawned for me between the doorways of the laboratory room and the electronics/tailoring room. He scared the shit out of me since I just riftwalked there.

Conclusion:
Caltrops all over the house

Shottie eats crabbos for breakfast.

>despite their acid resistance
Muties don't resist acid or bio.

It is such a pointless check though, if you have 20, you will be almost surely level 25+, so that check is almost useless for you other than saving time.

What was that stair check in the abyss?

What kind of ammo? I'm using a Vindicator and red shells. Am I just underleveled at 12?

They do, actually.

>get electric knife
>become death incarnate if I am willing to dump batteries every fight
my money...

Red shells are fine, level 12 is probably a bit low but as long as you have above 8 PER and sixth shell you should be chewing through crabbos pretty easily.

Can I safely store loot in my private quarters in SGS without risk of it disappearing?

Are you sure? I know mutants have acid/bio resist but I didn't think muties did. The wiki says they don't but that's not always accurate.

lock your door

Come back at 15, 12 is wayyyy too fucking low and even at level 25 i feel challenged most of the time.

safely store your loot on the floor

I only made it to lvl 8 before rerolling. This is not a good sign.

rerolled a couple at 14. find that build and bee urself.

They have some but not a lot. The super mutants probably inhaled more mutagen than them or something

There's always the lifting belt.

you dont need a high carry weight

the blue and yellow shots for for less armored enemies. you tend to want to stick with red shells for armored humanoids, robots, and the like, and when a very fucking armored fucker rolls in, switch to tungsten shots

its normal when you're new
I got to lvl 8 on my first guy before realizing what I actually wanted to play

am I supposed to be ripping through batteries so fast in the early game with electronic weapons or did I miss something really important with feats or stats

Thanks for the advice. I think the problem is the fuckers chew through my strength. I almost got them down one time but a psi crab killed me. Ended up going back to Core City.

Now that I finished genociding the natives, should I just continue on with the Expedition questline? Or is there something else or someone else to genocide I should do first?

oh wow, i'm so scared

pfft, look at this pathetic dagger ass bitch

Attached: 20190902183626_1.jpg (1920x1080, 407K)

Energy weapons usually consume a lot of energy unless you mod them for efficiency, which you don't want either way since Smart+Amplifier is much better.
Later on you'll get better plasma cores so unless you're somehow using only plasma guns you won't run out of energy that fast.
In theory though, you should one shot as many things as possible, it's not evident early on as you'll probably lack feats, and more importantly high quality parts, but around level 12 or so your laser gun should be able to one shot most things with an aimed shot.
Invest in a Low-Low energy shield, it outright blocks the crabbos' snibbedy snabs so they can't sap you.
Psycrabs though, that's another story.

I haven't had the opportunity to make a taser or craft my own electric weapons yet because no one in SGS wants to stock electro generators, im guessing plasma core crafted stuff has much larger capacity than storebought shit? So far I've found a 28 energy capacity weapon and a 33

Now genocide the pirates

Thanks. Was using a medium.
Also, whats the deal with the natives? Is it explained why they're Norwegian?

They don't have any. Some muties wear tac vest which can give resistance, but that's the only way they have it.

His knife can actually apply 'Fear' debuff on you, and he had initiative
Dont be ashamed to admit you had to reload

genocide the pirates if you don't plan on joining them

Merchants scale with your level, just keep doing the main storyline until you hit the tchort institute, they will sell everything on high quality

no
they'll already be easier to wipe out since the bosses are gone

my low low blocks psycrabs too
i'm on hard though might not work on dominating

You can't spell dominating without F9!

Where are all these bosses? I only found the staff dude and magnar

I'm sorry, you bitches were saying something?

Attached: 20190902183813_1.jpg (1920x1080, 400K)

Usually, yeah, there's also a feat to further amplify electronic devices' energy capabilities, which is pretty good for your shields since it boosts the original pool by 35%, kind of a must have for high INT characters really, especially energy pistol users who need all the defense they can get.
Again, once you get around 90-100 and above quality you'll notice a massive step up in performance, especially with again, Smart+Amplifier mods, always use those mods on your guns unless you want a polarizing electric pistol for tougher targets, but even so it's only worth it on Dominating, you'll usually just want to slap a Smart+Amplifier module so you can fry multiple assholes to death with aimed shot.
>Is it explained why they're Norwegian?
Ask Styg.
Psycrabs are also blocked by Low-Low, problem is they chew through it a lot faster and are much more dangerous once your shield is down since they stun you.

Haven't played Underrail yet, I'm wondering if it's possible to play going in blind, or am I fucked if I don't spec precisely?

go east of the joint security place along the north shore

how do you think everybody else did it
you play the game and you learn
you'll likely restart but you'll have learned for it

AAAAAAAHHH FUCK GIVE ME MORE AMPOULES
I HAVE A FRIDGE FULL OF ORGANS THAT NEED PROCESSING

Attached: 1550513493804.gif (300x300, 313K)

nikolai, do you see now?

normalbabbys

dont try to make your character do too many things and dont spread out your focus
dont try to bruteforce through encounters, you need to sometimes use thingsgrenades or traps you normally wouldnt

What benefits do the pirates have besides the feats?

Trial and error is part of Underrail user
In any case, you can always come here and ask for advice

Aside from countering the creatures they came from, does anybody use the wyrm armor (I know people wear heartbreaker)? What's the use of leper armor?

Does genociding the pirates effect the campaign in a meaningful way? Like killing all of the natives (or really, just killing Magnar I guess) stops them from attacking the camp.

you can't turn me against my own kind

i refuse to become a domicuck and not a domichad who plays whatever he wants and test runs his builds on dominating after he's gotten bored of normal

They're cool bangas instead of norfs.
They appreciate good jokes.
They dislike tin cans and norfs.
Sickass jetters.
They're fucking pirates.

Has anybody actually completely a stealth/pacifist run?

yes, they will not attack the jetski patrols and wont kindnap the proffessor

do they have sexy ladies i can lay with

>gms compound full of sentry bots that stun and flashbang
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

This punkass got three hardcore bitches on his dick? Are you kidding me?

i'm mercing this nigga

Attached: 20190902185646_1.jpg (1920x1080, 392K)

you have around 3 or 4 mandatory fights where you need to kill so that would be impossible

So i think i understood most of the expedition lore, but what is that statue in the entrance and why does the shadowlith essence fear it/is destroyed by it?

Mfw reading about the acorn too, man shouldn't have that kind of power and it really seemed way beyond what humans would be able to do it

Attached: 1440206414202.gif (488x291, 1.99M)

its 5 mandatory kills and I know

Oh it's on, bitch.

Attached: 20190902185824_1.jpg (1920x1080, 406K)

>Gorsky goes to Core City to offer the aid of SGS
>Gets told to fuck off
>Gets absolutely assblasted so he decides to form his own gang and take over part of the city
I love how he goes from complaining at you and being an asshole to going "He gets things done!" and acting like we'll help him out no questions asked.

Alright, thanks user. I'll get on that then. Do you have any recommended points of landing? It was real pain the ass to find a decent spot to land near the natives to then go up and be able to kill them.

No, you have to ask the technomutant vikings for that.

I've heard they have a lot of quests. I am gonna join them on my second play through.

Bitch ass can't even last one round

i totally didn't reload for intiative, i swear

Attached: 20190902190027_1.jpg (1920x1080, 421K)

then i don't see why wouldn't you be able to, you get enough experience without killing anybody to kill tchort and with high enough stealth, stealth gear and some utilities to run away and distract people it shouldn't be much of a problem, as a matter of fact it should even be easier as you are never in any risk as long as you know where you need to go and what areas to avoid

it would be boring as hell tough thats why i never tried, already put myself through a traps only playthrough and that was horrible enough

>Sickass jetters.

Attached: Untitled.png (1366x768, 1.02M)

i think there is only a single spot you can land, its between their base and lemco, everywhere else there is turrets and the gates are closed unless you speak to the one pirate jetski about joining them

That's what I thought.

Attached: 20190902190226_1.jpg (1920x1080, 344K)

Dude, nobody cares about your totally legit sickass dominating exploits, you don't have to prove anything to anyone.

Alright, I'll be on the look out for it. Do I need to kill every pirate, or is there just one big guy I need to make sure to kill like Magnar?

proving it to myself, man

that was yngwar that turned into a rock wasn't it

i'm pretty sure you need to kill all the named characters, or at the very least you need to kill the jetski patrol with razor and the captain

>not even done with the GMS compound and I've killed 100 rathounds

Is this game like Habbo Hotel?

>Fight on Jetski

Fuck, dude. Fighting on Jetski with my sword sucks dick even though I got Ladelman to train me. I guess can just throw grenades or something.

There is a piece of land to go in the far south past their main entrance just to the side of the citadel of life. You can easily tunnel and genocide them from there without being in disadvantage. I assume much like magnar if you kill the grim leader, they will stop nagging you

I guess somebody casted bilocation on you then since you have to prove it to yourself's self on the internet.

Attached: 1565901929718.png (400x400, 89K)

Should've joined the pirates and gone with a knife, your fists, or spears.

Haven't we all been Bilocated at least once in this game.

fuck that psi casting, wish the torch did something against it or energy or something

I saw a really good explanation about how yngwar just get purified of his evil essence and goes on to become a real human being, which makes a lot of sense when you get him to talk.

So the ally AI really is retarded enough to go through your caltrops and your gas grenades.

fuck

Attached: 20190902191010_1.jpg (1920x1080, 395K)

A single Neural Overload takes care of a doppel, problem is if they do live long enough to cast bilocation on you then you're probably already dead unless you're a 10 CON tin can strongman.
It's bullshit how killing the caster doesn't erase the doppels though.

Because Godmen and Leviathan are mortal enemies. The Monolith at the entrance is of Godmen origin, the Shadowlith is Leviathan. When Godmen need to go beyond the limits of this world they weaken the barriers, and Leviathan influence can push through. For this reason Godmen created weapons that can extinguish them here in this world, and you have retrieved one of the two such weapons they left in the Monolith.

No, that's Steve.

What should I get first between Cheap Shots and Expose Weakness?

Expose weakness, no contest.

Do you actually need to invest any points into thought control or the feat for neural overload? How do you deal with them if you're a non-psi build?

wheres your root soda

Just don't get hit, which in this case means don't let them cast bilocation on you.

Well that's not really speculation, it's all but confirmed in the ending slides.

where would we be today without some warcrimes?

forgot it

Attached: 20190902192536_1.jpg (1920x1080, 438K)

Expose Weakness just so you can do damage to tin cans more reliably. Most enemies in the game have some mech resistance too so it's always a good combo opener.

So what is the ACTUAL chance-to-hit formula? Because I miss way too often with 95% chance-to-hit for it to be what it says.

>he pirated the game

Attached: miss miss miss.png (589x2042, 1.28M)

Is Razer supposed to be invisible or is my game fucked?

tfw strlet

Attached: tfw dex.png (1373x622, 776K)

oh boy i sure love knife moulds and mine cases and random organs all of which sell for next to nothing but weigh a ton

Also that hammer that's worth like 2k at most but weights more than rest of his shit combined.

you gonna use those spiked chrome knuckles?

yeah I really need to learn what not to pickup
are these uniques? or just really high tier

Attached: purple.png (451x682, 313K)

that one in particular is one that you will keep with you for the whole game, free stats are very good
purples are uniques but it's not worth keeping them if they're worse than what you're using

Needs another frame of them checking to see if they'd been shot, then Rapid Fire-ing. I don't know if those cats were high Dex

Apparently my game is fucked and if Razer takes heat damage he becomes an invisible and invincible menace.

why does a stationary object have evasion

Attached: file.png (377x169, 122K)

It's got moves

the lemurian jetski
do i actually have to keep the broken parts
I just noticed they were key items

Jackknife is good though. It's my go to mirror image remover.

nope, my bare hands are far better

>level 6
>still have not been able to buy an electroshock generator

Loot one off a sentry bot.

honestly wasn't able to kill any of the bots in gms compound before getting gangbanged and flashbanged to death. Might go back with some emp nades or something just so I can get some parts

Attached: weak as shit.png (518x582, 18K)

now i get why people like the arena so much

Attached: file.png (791x575, 585K)

Cheap shots obviously, at level 6 you won't be figthing many heavily armored enemies

why did the lemurians have such shitty cameras i want to watch the creeper vs strongman fight i set up

Attached: file.png (732x510, 387K)

literally any vest is good enough to take 0 damage.

I like listening to those fights more than watching. Also machine vs bugs, machine always win.

Where the lore of this located?

goddamn, cuddlebuddies don't fuck around

Attached: 20190902202859_1.jpg (1920x1080, 231K)

this is it
I have become
Al fabet

Attached: file.png (449x220, 164K)

Anyone got a not-shit download to this game. Everything I can find is slow as balls

steam
gog

Monolith and Shadowlith visions, Yngwar, Azif, and Six.

nigga you know damn well I don't want to pay for the game. get real or get to reddit.

do you only get those with high will

How it feels being a poor third worlder?

>not paying for cheap indie games
Bruh, pirate from corrupt AAA companies. Not from small indie devs with no budget.

Nobody here is going to help you if you are such a cheap fuck, the game is good and made by some slav fucks that nobody knows, we only recommend pirating in case people dont like it, but if you are just going to be a bitch you might as well suck it

>the fucking 130 hacking req i've been prepping for finally comes up
>its just a cigar

>not even a real cuban

The visions are high Will, Yngwar is high INT, Azif and Six are not gated.

So I swordfought Cap'n Grim and killed him. Will this be enough to stop the pirates or do I have to do more killing? These guys are actually pretty tough for a melee character.

Attached: grim.png (1920x1080, 306K)

are the visions the space background screenshots i've been seeing with you talking to six

>fighting the pirates
You fucked up.

Its my first time playing the DLC and I figured that Pirates would probably be more interesting and more enjoyable on a second character, one who is specifically using fucking guns so I don't have to do the god awful melee jet ski action.

Actually, do the attacks happen even when you're gone? Or no?

Just got scammed on kinguin trying to buy Underrail. Their customer support is awful too. Wish me luck bros

Attached: E12C0E96-BA62-4A6E-9396-3FEA582837DF.jpg (500x375, 24K)

You don't have to fight them or join them, you can just call them to a ceasefire. That's the smartest decision for a first playthrough.

Space background screenshots?

i've seen screenshots of what appears to be you floating in space with six having a conversation

Not taking someones passive aggressive answer isn't what i'd call a bitch. Situational awareness is a thing. Also obviously if someone doesn't want to spend money on a product one of the main factors is because they aren't certain they will enjoy it to the point where it is worth their money.

Morality varies far too much for a statement like that on here. Like where were you people with stuff like Huniepop,Undertale or how about something like EDF Just because you like it doesn't mean you get to play special police force and get away with it.

Uhh not sure what you mean. Wait, is this your first playthrough? Have you finished the game yet?

i finished the game once and I did not do the DLC

So play it? Trying to gather the lore here is pointless.

Well from what I gathered in my first playthrough it doesn't seem like six is involved with the DLC stuff so I thought I missed that in the vanilla content

He isn't involved with the DLC stuff, but his vanilla content was updated with a new dialog branch that's about the DLC. But really dude, just play it.

Does this mean the pirates are gonzo?

Attached: pirate patrol.png (1920x1080, 225K)

no, when they are gone it says there is no pirate activity

alright im a brainlet what am i supposed to be doing at the joint security place
i've gotten the keys to the jetski and made it work but thats about it

Did you attack them?

Fallout 4 having a stroke with how many dialogue choices are here

Attached: 0f74ff1fce47e1f53e5065e114d5877a.png (572x365, 248K)

Yeah, I am trying to genocide them like the natives.

Fuck, looks like I gotta kill more people. Fighting the pirates is actually harder than fighting the natives. Stupid pirate snipers keep one shotting me.

Attached: pirates.jpg (1920x1080, 517K)

gazellegames

there is like a second pirate outpost right next to the institute of technology that you might have to exterminate too, and the patrol that razor is in close to the aegis base

You're a BR.

With the natives there are apparently two villages, but killing Magnar's was enough to stop them. I'll try killing razor after I get back from shopping in Underrail proper. I need me some more plasma grenades.

>but killing Magnar's was enough to stop them
That shouldn't stop you though, finish what you started. Those people deserve it. You will only make the world a better place with them not in it. That is an objective fact.

I'll end up going back to finish the job, but to be honest I really want to continue the expedition questline, as I have never done it before. However my first priority was stopping any attacks so I can explore and quest in (relative) peace.

>I really want to continue the expedition questline
don't bother it's not that good. Genociding natives/pirates is the best part of dlc. The main quest is repetitive and boring as fuck.

Why do fists do everything knives do but better?

eh
knives are more reliable

They do more damage per hit, but can't stack up sources of damage like fists do. Higher crit chance/damage. Somewhat less feat-intensive.

how do i make the ferryman move
if its only waiting how long do i have to wait

as long as it takes or just booty call him

Its bullshit man, its bullshit. Rebuff knives.

You have to exterminate them all. Its ridiculous.

what are the coordinates where the sub gets towed to?

Goddamn, you can get that hefty chowing down on humans?

fuck me, i need to get some premium titty steak

Attached: 20190902225719_1.jpg (1920x1080, 223K)

>knives are more reliable
>They do more damage per hit
pfft
When unarmed gets its increased threshold down to 120% maybe

I'm playing a 130 carry weight dude and at this point (level 13 or 14, I'm not sure I already passed) I barely even bother with loot anymore because I'm drowning in money, I just disassemble shit that might be useful and leave the majority of the loot behind.
Like lmao I'm really dying to get 10 charons on this fucked up pig leather armor.

I couldn't sell mine on gratitude alone, I would have never made it through the Depot mines without the traps bonus.

There is not a single mine in depot which you have to defuse. Just walk around them buddy, like just bait enemies into it, like bre just blow it up with a nade.

Kinda wanna do .44 Hammerer Riot Gear Cop run with tons of throwables.
Why's Riot Gear bad per say?

Also MORE GAS GRENADES?
CAVE EAR POISON GAS GRENADES.
CRAWLER POISON GAS GRENADES
BURROWER POISON GAS GRENADES
Just make them take more materials if balance is at stake or something.

I'm talking more about the 1000+ xp points that bumped me up a level and made things quite easier in those rooms full of muties.

Fuck! Gasoline gas grenade! Evaporate jerry can of gas into a position, toss in a molotov and cause fuckhuge MichaelBaysplosion!

Nah man we're going to DIS

Doing my first playthrough of this trash. I heard that Psi builds are pretty good. What does its build look like?

can i just kill todd and implant his chip in me
i can't stand his autism

riot armor is bad because it has bad resist, bad threshold.

I never heard of any oddity giving 1000exp. Sounds like s bug.

I'm talking about getting 60 xp per trap once I disarm them.
This really isn't that hard.

Yeah go ahead

>be a thug
>get the jump on some master crafter wandering around the caves
>crippling strike his ass and stab him a few times
>blood everywhere
>this fight's in the bag
>his turn
>he unbuttons his jacket
>reveals an entire collection of assorted syringes and drugs lining his belt
>a fucking biology crafter
>he shits out hypos and he's back to full health in two seconds
>he stunlocks your shit
>wittles you down with level 1 psi skills
>you don't get another turn and die like a bitch
>he proceeds to rip open your corpse right there
>takes your heart
>adrenal glands
>your fucking intestines
>pulls out his backpack full of ampules
>distills your organs into pure components right in front of you and turns them into virulent drugs
>he later sells them for a profit at core city
>tfw your bodily fluids being injected into some zoner junkie is your legacy

i wish you could harvest people for their precious precious organs

>todd's autistic dialogue trees

10 INT 10 WILL 10 CON, level up WILL every time you get base skill point, swallow the red pill doc gives you.
Max out Psi schools every time you level up, mechanics and tailoring for early game armor crafting, bit of biology so you can Psi beetle carapaces in your armor enhancement.
Tactical vest, EMP nades and Electrokinesis make GMS compound a breeze
Siphoner/Mutated Dog Leather armor and molotovs help a ton in Depot A
USE YOUR CONSUMABLES AND UTILITIES!

I disagree

>Psionic Mania + Cryokinetic Orb
Heh... Nuttin personnel Hives
>Premeditation + Electrokinesis spam the Locusts that pop out
