at least it's better than IV

Can kill women

I enjoyed the single player for a decent amount of time and feel it was worth playing.

it least it runs better on PC while being a worse game than IV

fpwp

it's the only GTA that made me genuinely just drive around without getting board.

Michael is a cute!

spotted the zoomer that grew up on gen 7

>if you think GTAIV is better that means you grew up on it
so you grew up on GTAV?

I grew up on GTA3 followed by SA, IV is and always was garbage.

Pretty game

I played and enjoyed 3/VC/SA when they came out, and while IV had less content than SA, it had much better gameplay. I understand thinking those were better due to nostalgia, but I don't understand thinking the watered down zoomer shit that is V being better than IV.

the cars and car customization

IV just has nothing going for it aside from a few minor details here and there. The visual style, storyline, driving, shooting, and general structure of it doesn't appeal to me at all.

Best GTA.

zoom zoom in the house tonight!

ok retard

despite being 6 years old it still looks better than KurwaJunk 2077 - a 2020 game.
The Kurwaken Polaken spastics really fucked up.

has more customization than iv
its a good game, just has shit story and some other stuff
i hope the next one is in vice city and is a mix of the customization and features of V with the quality of writing in 4, and also fixes the problem all rockstar games have with mission structure and such

>shooting
You honestly think the shooting is better in V? After they butchered the physics?

The main problem I have with the franchise right now is that the closer they get to "realism" the more obvious it is that you're extremely limited in what you can do.

I mean having a more or less accurate version of LA to play around in is nice, but the entire city just feels completely devoid of anything fun to do after you clear the story missions.
I get that they saved a lot of mission stuff for GTAO and that's a wise marketing decision but the base game could use some proper street racing, cop missions, drug trafficking and so on... it just feels like there's a framework there that wasn't utilized fully.

RDR2 is definitely a step in the right direction since they introduced more NPC interaction options and the world felt more interactive there. Hopefully they translate that into the next GTA game.

I didn't say that

So you agree that the shooting in IV was better, the most important part of gameplay

But there's tons of content to do outside the story mode. The game is designed around having an experience that's fun to pick up and mess around with

>the most important part of gameplay
absolutely not

what's a more important part of gameplay than shooting in a tps?

5 years later it still looks great

>Rabbit dog

In GTA the driving. Also there's more variation in shooting mechanics in V like with Trevor's and Michael's abilities. The way cops react to your shots in slo mo is kino.

The 2x RP/Cash on gunrunning thats been going on has gotten me the cash I need for everything I actually cared about just by idling. It's still slower than actively farming but I just want the cash to do whatever I want anyway.

I like the grind anyway. If you want to fuck around with toys right away just play sp

Lost Santos is comfy

there are some side missions outside the story mode but besides that, once you've fucked around for a bit in freeroam, it gets empty, repetitive and boring as fuck

its finally behind us
also fuck that cuck michael, most interesting all around character (background story and power) ruined by stupid dialogue

Not really though, there's tons of shit to do that makes exploration fun for a long while

the switching between characters flows really well

not cyberpunk enough

it's fun

Attached: 20190805185027_1.jpg (1920x1080, 401K)

It's a bit soulless, sure, but the biggest reason V is shat on is because we didn't know how to deal with the cops on release

Fair enough, I just play online since they have more toys to play with compared to SP

more cyberpunk than 2077

Agreed. IV was a total shitshow on every level. I have no idea why people pretend to like it.

I don't pretend to, I do, it was more enjoyable than V, mainly due to physics. Much more fun to kill NPCs and blow shit up in IV than in V.

it was kind of fun online before they added a bunch of powercreep nonsense

That awful color scheme was disgusting. They really overdid it grey filters
>youtube.com/watch?v=dmxTqfphL6E

4 was rightfully shat on when it released, only zoomers like it now

That's only an issue on the grey first area. One of the best parts about that game is how more and more color is introduced as you progress to later areas

I've never found a more entertaining game to aimlessly wander around in.

It's the essence of cyberpunk.

I think the problem I had with the entire game is that because of the way the map is designed it gets quickly reduced to "city", "methhead land" and "looping highway"

Regardless of the attention to detail I'd rather have neighborhoods/city sections to unlock gradually than have this map that feels always kinda barren and it's not that fun to explore.

>Regardless of the attention to detail I'd rather have neighborhoods/city sections to unlock gradually than have this map that feels always kinda barren and it's not that fun to explore
funny, because people were complaining about the exact opposite of what you just said

I fuck around with toys in GTAO, you can use pretty much anything to finish freeroam missions.

I’ve spent 40 days playing online

this game has gorgeous sunsets
