Based but let's be honest, Johnny is too good for smash.

I don't have issues with the execution but I dropped johnny because I didn't want to memorize the character specific combo routes. I don't want to have to pull out an excel document every time I fight a new character.

? There are very few character-specific routes outside of potemkin and midgets. But Johnny is for execution and memory monsters as well as players that don't mind blocking a lot.

I have a hard time remembering combo routes. Like I remember to 2k slayer in the corner but when it comes to stuff like the midscreen and then corner stuff for venom it all just makes my head spin. My execution is pretty solid though so I just play Zato. Shame he fucking sucks but I bet he'll be back to being good in 2020.

I find venom has much more character-specific routes than Johnny. Usually Johnny's combos it least start the same, whereas Venom you're doing OCB instead of IAD for like half the roaster off c.s

yeah I definitely don't have the memorization for Venom either. He needs a lot of research too, not just practice.

I kind of like that about venom it least in terms of ball setups and formations, but his combo shit is whack. I say this as a Johnny main with a pocket Venom.
I can't play Eddy though because my brain doesn't work that way.
