>OP actually gives attention to people who make click-bait opinions
Rule of thumb. If you find someone who has an opinion so fucking stupid you get mad at it for being stupid, chances are that person is either being bribed or is looking for ad revenue.

He was right about RTS though.

But he was right about the RTS one.

Wheres the "depends on the context, situation and circumstances" option?

Such as?
The piracy opinion is already context for a situation.

>is it ethical to pirate a game you've already paid for
How is pirating unethical in the first place what a shitty fucking question

that image has been reposted on Yea Forums for years as a joke. gamer

>is it ethical to pirate a game you've already paid for?
How is it still "pirating" if you paid for the damn game? Once you buy the game, you have the LEGAL RIGHT to emulate it. What the actual fuck is wrong with these people? The question should have been: "Is it ethical to pirate a game if you don't want to support the developers?"

He is right pretty right about RTS though
Nothing against the genre, but factually there are not very many RTS games made anymore

>what is a clickbait

How can one man contain this many bad opinions?

That is technically incorrect. When you buy an album on CD, ripping the songs and burning them onto an other CD is illegal. You buy the right to the specific copy you got, not necessarily the right to any copy of the product, derivative (self-made copy) or alternative (download from an external source, emulation). Don't forget that in some cases you receive a limited amount of installations per license. Copyrighted material distribution licensing laws and limitations are stupid. But that's how it is. That's also why Nintendo keeps reselling the same games over multiple generations of consoles.
On the question of whether it's ethical or not, the vast majority of society would probably think buying the game entitles you to play it regardless of the circumstances, so it's ethical.

Ever heard of double's advocate?

ripping and burning is legal, distributing it oi not
