SNK is an insanely based choice. Legendary company, great games, big chunk of Vidya history that deserves to be recognized.
Hero is an understandable decision given JPs love of the franchise and it's significance to Vidya and Nintendo history. Plus he's damn fun to play.
Banjo and Kazooie are an insanely based choice for the fans and representing Nintendo's history
Pirahna Plant is super fun to play and one of the most creative additions to the roster.
And I have no doubt DLC 5 will be a great decision as well

I've wanted Banjo in Smash since Smash 64.

But with that said, I'm very happy with the DLC so far, I enjoy Joker and I like Persona 5.

And, I've never played a Dragon Quest game and its not really for me. But Hero is fun as fuck to play as.

This, he's unironically the worst DLC pick so far. Hero and Banjo are extremely faithful to their base game. Joker doesnt even get to switch personas, a CORE gameplay aspect across EVERY Persona game.

I got the Fighter's Pass on my birthday, which happened to be the same day as the E3 presentation. I would have been so pissed if they had announced another fucking Fire Emblem character, instead we got Hero and Banjo instead, which was a pleasant surprise, especially after Joker. I don't hate him, I just don't care about Persona. More of a Strange Journey guy. Though it is neat that he has a Harry Potter alt.

In terms of aesthetics I think it's a great level. Everything else I'm not fond of. The engine room is frustrating and the way you have to navigate the ship area is a chore. I almost always dread it.

No because I was 100% certain I wanted all the characters because Smash is one of my favorite game franchises. These anime kids aren't that exciting but it completes my roster and a fighting game is worthless without a full roster.
