Which is weird considering how solid Ogura's art is otherwise. Personally I think OP's pic and the others where the girls are in their regular outfits are fine, it's the ones where they're all "OH NO I GOT FORCED IN A LEWD OUTFIT I'M SO EMBARRASSED UGUU" that I don't like. The facial expressions look weird and extremely forced, it's clear the game designer pushed that heavily onto Ogura for fetish purposes.

It does look a bit off at times, more like fanart than official thing. Being a fanservice-focused spin-off, I gather it got a less experienced team and smaller budget to make it, but that's my opinion.

Terry is the very average fighting game character like Ryu. Basically noobs would only hadou and shoryu spam. Not so fun to play.

Nakoruru was otaku bait even back in the old days but at the same time shes still a very unique character in fighting games whos very short like mega man and uses the short range attacks and an eagle as a weapon. Very unique and fun to play.

SNK basically treats Nakoruru as their company wide Chun Li (same way Terry is their company wide Ryu). SNK had a social Action program in Japan and its mascots were Terry and Nakoruru. She's not "just" a side character to them.
