Welp, at least Tim help them break even.

Was it any good?

It's alright and Tim already paid the money, so you can just pirate the game.

Truly a shame, I hope we'll still get a sequel.

Astral Chain is at top and that is all that matters.

No chance whatsoever.
We'll get the DLC already planned/being worked on.

Damn, why do people have such shit taste?

What was your favorite part about control user?

>Physical copies
Well it's not very representative at this time and age.

Maybe they shouldn't have made a shitty movie and an actual game like Astral Chain then.

buttesuit

Remedy is fucking SHIT at advertising their games. I didn't even know this game was being made or even that it came out. Also didn't help that EGS didn't advertise it either

>physical games
That's got to be merely a fraction of sales especially for a exclusive that's bound to an online shop.

It's okay i guess. It looks pretty with a decent computer, and like all Remedy Games it has a neat gimmick but meh gunplay.

I haven't really used the different outfits because that's for women.

The gameplay can be fun once you finally get all your abilities but it falls flat in a lot of ways. Why are there item lootboxes everywhere? I wasn't expecting this type of leveling gameplay.

We made it Astral Chain bros.

I'm starting to wonder if publishers just decide to not even bother with advertising when they get a paycheck from Epic anyway.

haha little timmy boy is wasting a lot of that tencent gook money

after a year of bleeding money, ten-gook- cent will want a pound of flesh for all the money epic burned. timmy boy aint gonna be too happy when that day comes.

The article says nothing about Quantum Break. There's a mere 1500 copies separating Astral Chain and Control.

Also, Control cost something like 30-40 million. It's a far, far lower budget game than Quantum Break, and will comfortably break even.

the only one who tried to advertise it was digital cuckry, and in t heir case it was nvidia paying the bills for their shillery to promote their meme rtx cards

wait is this a ebin exclusive? hahahahah

Thanks for the insight user.

Do you know if it's true that this is Remedys final game?

It is an actual game... but what would a shitposter know

So lower than 10k for Control, Quantum Break sold ~27-32k first week in UK.

Why would be Remedy's final game? They're working on the campaign for Crossfire 2, and have at least one other project in the works.

I absolutely love the universe and lore, it was fascinating. I love the "supernatural bureaucracy" trope. and while being visually very pleasing with a fantastic use of ray tracing, I wasn't expecting gameplay to be this fun with a lot of exploration thanks to the later powers.

Funny part is this game will be timed exclusive for Xbone.

Both games are really good. Control plays great, better then AC but only by a hair. The issue with Control is the dialog, plot and stuff like that are fucking shit. Remedy just needs to stick to pulp because when they anything else it sucks.

>go xbox 360 exclusive; game sells poorly
>go Windows10 Store exclusive; game sells poorly
>go chink store exclusive; game sells poorly
Honestly it's baffling anyone even wants to pay Sam Lake for exclusivity, he hasn't made a highly-selling game since Max Payne in the early 00s

Quantum Break was an exclusive game that had marketing behind to promote it

Control barely had any marketing if any at all and most people didn't even know it was releasing past week

I'm happy to see Wreckfest up there tho, I loved Destruction Derby as a kid and I was always kinda sad Sony never bothered with it again or tried to revive the series when Evolution was still alive since they did a good job with Motorstorm

> this chart does not track digital downloads
> 1500 boxed sales between first place and fourth

No point in paying for marketing if Tim is buying all the copies

it's a typical 7/10 (a real one, not a shitty ign score), Sam Lake writes pretty well and gameplay was okay, a little repetitive, though. A lot of the same enemies, some abilities you almost never use and such.

its pretty ok. i would say its worth a pirate if you have a decent computer.

Sold poorly because Tim bought all the copies. Remedy don't mind.

Where's it say how well they sold, Xcuck?

Why don't Sony fanboys buy games that aren't Fifa or 2k?

Really? So I don't need to feel bad?

hurr durr i need the jew to advertise it for me.

no one who visit v can make such shit excuse.

Looks like Xbros don't buy games as usual.

honestly this game came out of nowhere. I bet many people pirated it just to see what it was about.

They should rerelease it on next gen consoles for 40 bucks, at least to get the framerate and ray tracing stuff for consoles users.

People don't buy physical copies these days.
