Astral Chain exists now. Also, you guys better enjoy this thread all what you can, last one got nuked, some traitor must have reported it.
Let's try to keep it work safe this time.
but it does have good games
you know who you should weep for? super sentai.
OP needs to be sent to the Advent Void.
What happened last time?
>some traitor must have reported it
Kamen Rider has gotten worse and worse the bigger and more cumbersome the belt has become
I thought those DS Side scrollers were pretty good
I think only the japs grew up on Ramen Rider.
The whole world was hooked on Power Rangers, fuck, I'm 31 and I still watch them every day, and, let me say, the new Beast Morphers is pretty rad.
Battride War Genesis.
Super Climax Heroes and Battride War Genesis were both really good. Battride is actually my favorite Musou and the combat feels really good.

Didn't Kamen Rider air in, I want to say Saudi Arabia but I'm not sure.

I can’t watch it any more. Build was terrible and I honestly enjoyed Decade more than fucking Zi-O.... and Zi-O had a ton of my favorite riders back but the writing and acting was so shit I couldn’t get into it. At this point I’m just thankful they gave us Amazons when they really didn’t have to.
man dude I love musous but the battride war games are not good. I was able to enjoy musous for series I hate (Hyrule Warriors, Fire Emblem Warriors), but I love Kamen Rider and Battride War Genesis was hard to get through.
Drive was one of the few great Heisei shows.
I haven't watched KR for a long time, the last series I peeked at was OOOs. The only thing I can gleen from more recent titles is how absurdly chatty the belts are. They don't just say a line, they shout, sing, scream, and do so at every chance they get. I'm amazed only one of the newer belts could actually just talk.
Also, Faiz belt has the best voice.
>Kamen rider
>not based Metal Heroes like Sharivan & Shaider
I always knew Yea Forums had shit taste in toku.

I wonder who's behind this post?
>no good wrestling games
>no good rider games
When will he save us from both?
yea that's another annoying thing. I think OOO was the last decent belt AFAIK
I don't know why the production team has focused so much on overdesigning the fucking belt and making it fucking huge when even as a kid, the costume itself was what I found cool (Kamen Rider Black for example) and having an increasingly out of place belt takes away from that.
is this game any fun?
I liked Drive at the beginning, but I felt like it sort of lost the point towards the second half. Gold Drive was lazy as shit, the promised number never really went anywhere and wasn’t well explained, and the final bad guy came out of fucking nowhere. Still, that scene where Mach forced a fusion with Chaser was really sick.
Nigger, it’s made for a super young audience now. There are times where it feels like it’s more childish than sentai. Sometimes they can make it work (like they magically did in Ex-Aid) but most of the time it’s really bad cg, really poorly choreographed fights where the suit actors seem afraid to hit each other any more, and really bad writing... but as much as I bitch I’m not angry with the direction they took. Phase 2 heisei made them a shit ton of money so why should they ignore what’s working and making them money. Zero One looks like shit to me but I’m sure the kiddos will love it.
Nah, it’s a pretty half baked, average at best anime fighter with a small roster. Onlines dead too. Stick with Super Climax Heroes if you want a Kamen Rider Fighter.
I've only ever watched a bit of Super Sentai off and on over the years, and I wanna get into Kamen Rider. Rather than asking which is the best one to start with, I wanna know who you guys think is the best main protagonist.
The games are very clearly done on a low budget and it took two other games to reach Genesis. I think the bosses can be a pain at times but the series is fun, you always get a decent variety of moves, transformations are always great, and there's a lot of fanservice. What did you dislike about it? Because even with 1 on PS3 I liked the series even with its faults, and I like most musou games in general.
No, absolutely not. Neither is Climax Scramble. There is so much wrong with it like invincibility when you knock a guy down to half health, the entire roster is using their Battride War movesets which means most are almost unusable, there's no reason to ever use a character like Den-O or Ryuki because their downsides are far too great, and everything feels horribly clunky. The only good thing about it is how gorgeous the models look. Battride War died for it and I am forever mad.
I imagine it also clashes really hard with the tone when the show tries to be serious. I've been peeking around to see what I've missed, and I've already seen many scenes with dramatic music, serious situations, and angry characters get completely shattered because the belt starts shouting.
Let's not even talk about the newest one which is apparently voiced by Microsoft Sam. I'm waiting for a parody where the belts start chanting "John Madden John Madden John Madden John Madden John Madden John Madden John Madden aeiou"
>Zero One looks like shit to me
Did you even watch the first episode? It's great and I'm someone who isn't a fan of the suit or the belt.
Shut up, spic.
>Nigger, it’s made for a super young audience now.
Not him, and I agree with you
the old Kamen Rider shows were about portraying a dark hero with some pretty dark things happening frequently
Did YOU watch the first episode?
Even the first enemy looked like shit
I don't even know who from the production team looked at the costume and said "Yep this looks totally robotic and not like we just put together a bunch of cardboard and spray painted black lines on the face"
>HURR KAMEN RIDER WAS ALWAYS DARK
It's like I'm on early 2000's era message boards again.
god damn this was depressing
>and not like we just put together a bunch of cardboard and spray painted black lines on the face
What on earth are you even talking about? He's entirely green with scythe arms that have a bunch of motherboard-looking lines on it and tubes everywhere.
Nah, I’m just not interested. Build was so bad towards the end it nearly put me off toku, and Zi-O didn’t help. I’ll probably wait for a couple years and see if any of the Reiwan riders are worth watching, but for now I’m content watching my favorite phase 1 and Amazons.
It’s because phase 1 was a family show and phase 2 was directed almost specifically for kids. We got some good stuff out of phase 2 though, and like I said, it did really well for them financially so I never blamed them for it. Hell, one of my favorite riders (Den-O) was a big thing that made Phase 2 happen.
These guys HAVE to be SEAmonkeys.
Battle for the Grid's alright.
Beast Morphers is pretty rad.
Can that belt run Crysis though
Showa era shows were supposed to have a darker tone, but the shitty special effects blur this impact.
>The nerdy kid became Jin
I don't know how to feel about this. Steel's intro was pretty funny though.
You guys remember Kamen Rider Dragon Knight? What a good show
>What on earth are you even talking about?
Stop playing dumb.
Look at that helmet, it looks like they put it together in an hour before filming and the panel lines aren't even neat and obviously look airbrushed or spray painted on
For something that's supposed to look like a robot and metallic, they completely fucked up
It's an embarrassment that the debut episode for the very first rider of this new era has this kind of QUALITY
I literally did not even notice this whatsoever until you pointed it out. If anything you should be complaining about the football shoulder pads. He sure as hell sold the "robotic praying mantis" look to me.
You guys reminded of how Kamen Rider Ws suit started falling apart mid season
Which is not Sentai. And yeah it is hilarious that Sentai gets jack shit.
Cry moar, spic.
You should watch Kamen Rider Ryuki. Bet you’d like it.
I wonder if they are getting lazy and just 3d printing their suits now.
>spic spic spic
Is this some nu/m/ meme?
DESU I wouldn't have noticed but they kept fucking zooming on to the thing's face and the design just looked worse and worse and those fucking hand/arm blades
Zero One's costume is also bad, especially that short intermission when he's in the dark and the armor panels of his suit are lit up
I did watch it after I watched dragon knight to see the differences. Shame dragon knight didn't help revive kamen rider out in the states though
>just 3d printing their suits now.
Are they doing that now? To be fair, even if that enemy suit looks like shit, it's still obvious they still put it together by hand.
Brazilians and Fillipinos are usually the ones who complain about kids shows being for kids. They act like Black is the only good series.
just play zyuranger music in the background
>he used Black as an example, that means he thinks that's the only good series!!!!
lol
Cry moar, spic.
Lupat just got a Switch game (Which is basically a reskin of the Gokaiger DS game so it's garbage), Zyuohger had a 3DS puzzle game, Ninninger had a game based off of Game de Kaigan/Rider Revolution, ToQ's game was some garbage browser train moving game (It's one of those ones where you open a path by sliding stuff), Kyoryuger's game is what the two Megaforce games are based off of (and they all share the same faults in that it's a pain in the ass to play and no one ever shuts up), Go-Bus had a pretty boring sidescroller beat 'em up on the DS, and Gokaiger had two horrible games on the DS and Wii. They've had a game every single year, they're just not good.
>Shame dragon knight didn't help revive kamen rider out in the states though
Blame their incredibly stupid choices during production. That stuff including three recap episodes, airing the show first thing in the morning when no kid would bother watching it, only starting to sell their toys months after the first episode, and not even finishing the show on TV because the viewer retention was so low.
>especially that short intermission when he's in the dark and the armor panels of his suit are lit up
Okay, seriously, I don't get you. That was one of the best bits because it looked fantastic.
Cry moar, spic.
Viewtiful Joe is Platinum's (formerly Clover's) attempt at a Kamen Rider game, Wonderful 101 is Super Sentai. Astral Chain is a weird JoJo Eva Space Sheriff Patlabor GitS Xenoblade hybrid.
It’s probably for the best considering how shit most media has become. I’d hate to see the clamoring for the first trans rider or how they’d insert politics into a show that’s supposed to be about justice. though I am kind of sad the western Fourze script ended up being fake.
Gotcha,
same with X-Men (ok I gues the capcom fighter was good)
some franchises are just cursed vidya-wise
And malaysia, parts of South America too
The Legends series and the Wolverine movie tie-in were great.
Fourze would have been a good way to get kids hooked because it felt like the mid 90s power rangers, helps that one of the guys who worked on gurren lagann had a hand in the show.
Eyup, It’s one of the few Phase 2 shows I liked. Funny thing is, much like Ex-Aid, I thought I’d hate it the most due to the suit but in the end it became one of my favorite series in general.
elaborate
>Okay, seriously, I don't get you. That was one of the best bits because it looked fantastic.
It SHOULD have looked fantastic, but because of how the costume is, those rounded blue lines ruined the silhouette or look of the costume in the dark along with the rest of the arms mostly being invisible. It gave off the impression he was walking with gorilla arms. When I watched it, it reminded me of those old balancing toys that you'd balance on the tip of your fined like pic related.
They put green armor panels on the body and legs but none on his arms at all, and the shot suffered for that.
>metal heroes
Isn't it time for your medicine, grandpa?
tip of your finger*
>clashes really hard with the tone
That happens sometimes, but ARE YOU READY was pretty kino.
What's this? Nvidia rider?
>ARE YOU READY was pretty kino.
This was fucking beautiful and really set up how desperate Kazumi was in webm related.
It's "Let's just make the guy wear a black body suit and slap some plastic panels on him except we obviously ran out of money to buy more plastic for the whole suit" Rider
I'm a brazillian and I hate Blackfags, I only started watching Rider around 5 years ago, so I didn't really grew up watching Black, I don't think the season is bad (I enjoyed parts of it) but it's certainly overrated here, 80% of the Heisei seasons are better.
When you watch Kamen Rider W, pay attention to the groin pieces under the belt as the show goes, they start falling apart and pieces are missing, they never bothered to replace it and I think even now the suit in the museum has yellowing in the silver strip down the middle.
Cry moar, spic.
Maybe people posted Fourze.
I still can't believe Fourze had The Pool™.
>When Battride War was first announced someone told me it was a Super Robot Wars-like game but with Kamen Riders
Imagine my disappointment when I found out what it actually was.
>Build was terrible
Bro you can't say that, you'll summon the defence force to sperg out over every single criticism anyone has about it.
>Zero-One's design
I didn't think they'd ever make something worse than Ghost, how quickly I was shown to be mistaken.
>the old Kamen Rider shows were about portraying a dark hero with some pretty dark things happening frequently
Cry moar, spic.
I will die before there are blu ray rips of Ichigo or V3
The combat feels super clunky, the mission structure is boring, and the performance/graphics (on PS3 at least) are pretty lackluster.
W did too.
Why do I have to be a spic to hate Zero-One and Ghost's designs? They're trash.
Blade is the only good Heisei show
Drive is the only good Neo Heisei show
prove me wrong: You can't
Cry moar, spic.
Zero-One is taking the "Kamen" and "Rider" aspects and exploring it with the design, I think it's neat.
Gaim is better than either
