It's OK when women (and nintendo) do it. My dad was murdered and my mom was dying of cancer a few years ago. I talked to my fiancee about killing myself, ended up with a restraining order on me for it, and they used it as a way to hurt me and get money out of me after I actually tried to kill myself and failed (22 caliber bullets dont kill :) ) and as an escape to preach about sympathy and how depression is serious. If roles were switched, that would be controlling, manipulative, etc. It's literally okay for a woman to lie and ruin guys lives just because they can, can gain from it, and are just emotionally unable to understand

Seems like you decided on your own that you wanted to kill yourself and you decided not to fall alone. That's a very egoistical thing to do user and I don't believe they were wrong in the first place if they tried and then got out of dodge. I've been on the other side of this once and unless the person is willing to get professional help it sucks a lot.
The money aspect of it is just weird though, I guess you were married or living together and they had to get their half before fucking off in order not to be pennyless.

She is a sociopathic grifter. Of course she is going to try and profit off of Alec's death as much as possible. And her enablers will make excuses for her and keep offering her jobs in the comics industry (that's her new place to grift now that the games industry has recognized how toxic her name is).

She went after Alec because the "comic book writer" scam was already running out of gas. She didn't even finish her comic for Vertigo before she had her next publisher deal lined up, which she will also probably not deliver. She is part of why Vertigo Comics is no more.

When the comic industry dumps her she will move into tabletop gaming, or anime, or Star Wars. Hell I wouldn't put it past her to try and invade the furry fandom. Whatever your hobby is she will find a way in to start a new scam until she burns all her bridges and moves on to the next one.
