Replaying the game, I didn't realize how much Tron has the hots for Rock.
There's even an additional scene cut from the NA /EU version.

Tron > Roll
Change my mind.
Roll is a wet blanket. A 2nd in command tinkerer. Meanwhile Tron is the leader and is the one creating massive war machines.
You linked to a scene already in the game? Didn’t know you could kick the dog but wtf do they mean by restored, it’s the exact same scene
In the NA/EU version they removed the ability to kick the dog. In that version, you just find Tron on the pole and you can't do anything but walk away leaving her to her fate. In the original JP version you could kick the dog and get an additional scene of her pussy getting wet. This person romhacked the game to restore the game.
The game has the English audio in there.
I want Tron Bonne to sit on my face.
In terms of personality, you're right. She's pretty much one of the only tsunderes I can think of that I feel is done well, and it's actually entertaining. That bit of tension where Rock pisses her off by actually injuring Tiesel added a lot to it. It's cute and mostly played for laughs but from time to time she still feels like a bit of a threat. For that and some other fun scenes the Bonnes really stole the show, Tron most of all. Roll is adorable but a bit dull and generic compared to the whirlwind energy that Tron brings to the table.
On the other hand, I think Roll has a cuter design. But unless you really hate the whole tsundere frenemy angle or can't stand Servbots or something, that's not enough to overpower Tron's presence and charm. I wish Roll had something to make her a little less vanilla as the cute support mechanic.
Tron tries to kill you, multiple times. And destroys property and makes you work off the debt, and impersonates your friends to insult you.
Roll makes weapons for you, appreciates all the gifts you give her and the help you provide, and doesn't get mad when you walk in on her naked twice, but instead writes about how curious it is that you keep doing that
You're a retard. All you had to do was talk to the dog and it would walk away and the exact same scene plays out.
>There's even an additional scene cut from the NA /EU version.
What do you mean it was cut? I played Legends for the first time last year and that scene was for sure in the game.
I think he's thinking of the scene from that demo with the two of them running through the field of flowers, not the scene with the dog.
>Tron is the leader
Only the Servbots think this. Big Bro Tiesel is the leader of the Bonne Pirate Gang. He manages the finances, provides Tron with raw materials to build their arsenal, chooses the targets, and gives the orders. Unless he's kidnapped, that is.
Tron&Roll working together to double-team Trigger > Tron being upfront > Roll being sweet most of the time > Tron being a terrible bitchy tsundere while trying to kill Trigger mere seconds prior
>you will never bang her robo cronch pussy
I don't know why, but this thread reminds me of Google's Android operating system.
Just wanted to tell you guys that.
I really want a game where they're friends working as a team:
>Roll and Tron are the engineers of the team
>Tron and MM playable characters
>Tron in mech suits, and MM by himself
>Tiesel is logistics
>They have a base
>buying/building ships/mechs/tanks part of it
>Servbots the army soldiers
>Story: Fight some kind of war against a Reaverbot army
>Find treasure and money to upgrade your soldiers
>
>I really want a game where they're friends working as a team
That was gonna be 3.
Big Bro Tiesel is logistics, sure. However, Tron is the more dominant personality of the two.
Bait
Was it? I thought they were still antagonists, and it was some new character. MM was still on the bloody moon.
You could kick any dog in the JP version, but overseas they censored it to only the aggressive dogs on the far side of town. So you could punt Paprika instead of just talking him down from being angry at Tron, as shown in the vid.
user canonically everyone has the hots for Rock i think he even surpasses Zero's Harem
Roll sells your weapons. Bitch loses right there.
>Roll's father has abandoned his past for a new barmaid waifu
>Roll's mother is being possessed by one of Rock's enemies-turned-friends and a part of his harem
>Roll is also a part of the harem
While a shitty move, it still beats trying to kill me repeatedly. That just pisses me off.
Roll is his fucking sister pervert.
she is the pervert for wanting rock, not me
>Tron tries to kill you, multiple times. And destroys property and makes you work off the debt, and impersonates your friends to insult you.
MML world is pretty light hearted and cartoony, so most damage is pretty survivable. You see Tron emerge from exploding mech for example.
She opposes you but doesn't try to kill you.
Honestly it's been a while, so maybe you're right. But in my recollection Tron subordinates to Tiesel when he's actually around. I don't remember Tron ever straight up bossing him around like her kids, outside of maybe the end of Misadventures. Arguing, maybe, but Tiesel called the shots when he wasn't kidnapped or in a shocked state thinking of how much goddamn zeni just went up in smoke.
T. servbot
Rock is already smashing Roll's mom, may as well complete the combo
Would Aero have wanted to ride the rockbuster too?
>But in my recollection Tron subordinates to Tiesel when he's actually around.
That's correct. He's kind of their general. Tron however is the real brains of the operation since she makes literally everything. She made the servbots, which allows her to make her big war machines. Literally every ship they use, every mech they fight with, etc is hers.
Dressed for dicking
Aren't the "humans" in MML not even humans? They're like carbon based flesh robots or something.
Yes, let me disregard all the bullets she fires at me. She survives because she's lucky, not because I'm not trying to kill her. If she apologized I might give her a chance, but nope, she just has to come back with yet another mech to make another attempt on my life.
How is Misadventures? Never played.
That MML3 prologue thing on the 3DS would have had Barrett/Aero, Roll and Tron making it to the moon to save Trigger while the shutdown of the Elder System caused all sorts of shit to go wild. Presumably you would have gotten access to Trigger once you reach him.
One simple word to make it all okay.
STEP
I would kill for another Misadventures game. That was good fun. Even the crappier minigames like the crates was fun.
That's correct. They're "Carbons", a race of biological androids that can freely interface with technology and hotswap limbs at will. They were created by the last true humans to live and occupy Terra to ensure that it was habitable for human colonization, at which point the Master System would wipe Terra clean of its retainers (Carbon Reinitialization Program) and start cloning true humans to replace them.
Carbons can also be reprogrammed, since they're engineered organic robots. Think Cylons from Battlestar Galactica.
when will megaman legends 3 come out for the switch?
im not sure the only appears in that otoranger mobile game barret probably claimed her already with rock being stuck on the moon
That storyline is stolen from the manga version of Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind. Like blatantly. Miyazaki should sue.
Roll being a sister pervert brocon and subtly trying to politely murder Tron would be a fun angle actually.
Please tell me they're working on it, bros. Surely they know how much we want it.
So was Barret basically going to be Protoman [Dash version]? Because I always got Blues vibes from his design.
Nobody really cares by this point, and the humans in Nausicaa aren't robots, but simply the result of adapting to years of nuclear warfare polluting the planet. The Forest crystallizes and traps the radiation, allowing for a pure world to result, but the current humanity would die from such a purified world, so Nausicaa destroyed the key that would let them adapt to the new world, instead entrusting their fate to nature instead. Which was really dumb of her, but in no way the same as the story in MML.
>Roll canonically has a pink anus
Oh they know for sure, now that the evil of inafune has finally been unmasked and defeated everything is possible HOWEVER there is something more important to do before we finish the legend
add to this that they reproduce sexually
That basically explains why Tron and Roll want to have Megaman's babies.
he was going to be Grandpa Barrel but during flashbacks
>post apocalyptic setting
>engineered humans are there to keep the planet habitable for the time being
>real humans are being kept in stasis elsewhere
>once it's ready the humans in stasis will awaken and the engineered humans will be killed
Only change is that the alteration is more significant with "carbons". In Nausicaa it was just to allow them to survive and breathe the air. Otherwise the storylines play out identically.
I was introduced to MML first so I thought the lore was super cool and found it strange how little focus it got in the narrative relative to how interesting it was. Then I read Nausicca and saw they stole it from there, and the premise is done better in Nausicaa.
Yeah. It's in the very, very, very early stages. They're just making sure everything's perfect.
Gay
I do not believe your lies. Post proof.
The official artist drew porn of the characters. Pink anus for roll confirmed.
This is one of the rare cases that user isn't bullshitting you.
Yeah we gotta make another Star Force game.
>official art of her about to take a shit
>from the toilets perspective
Timelines mate
You can't copyright themes/ideas, you dumbass.
>The official artist drew porn of the characters
where can I find it?
just look up the name of the artist in sankaku chan or gelbooru you will find it, it's pretty good, also i guess i should tell you that the zero artis has a bunch of original doujins too
She's blinding me with science.
Up until this thread I thought they were all robots or cyborgs at least. You mean Tron is real flesh and blood?
I think he was asking for source.
Just look for Hideki Ishikawa in Sadpanda or the usual places.
In retrospect I think Legends and Battle Network killed Mega Man for me. I tried so fucking hard to like them because I was always a die-hard fan but in the end I was just forcing myself to like mediocrity. Now when I remember Mega Man I don't remember 3; I remember the fucking Calinca Ruins.
They're all carbons, which are basically artificial humans that apparently can be easily modified but are otherwise human by all means and distinction beyond Elysium's classifications after real humanity died out. Tron's no different.
Legends games have a lot of charm, but they are early 3D games and pretty rough. They are actually way better than most of the early 3D games though, many of which are unplayable. I find the dungeons a bit of a slog but otherwise they're kinda cool games. Sequels and remakes are needed to tighten and modernize some of the combat.
I'd say they're the worst because Mega Man should be pretty hard to fuck up. Mario/Zelda pulled it off because they knew how important it was. Castlevania was better. Even fucking Goemon went 3D and became 10/10 because of effort. Capcom just lost their minds and decided to put their C-team on making 3D Mega Man, most blatantly with X7.
Legends needed combat that was a little tighter, a little more intense, and the enemies should have been a bit more aggressive.
That was in the PS1 NA version the whole time. I don't know what you are talking about. It was easy to miss because you didn't need to talk to her before the attack on the city - and she is gone after that happens - but I remember it from my first playthrough and remember it when most recently replaying the PS1 game.
>you just find Tron on the pole and you can't do anything but walk away leaving her to her fate
I'm pretty sure you can "talk" to the dog to make it fuck off too.
You oculdn't kick the dog, merely talk to it. Big difference.
Robots can have siblings?
I thought you could grab it and toss it, though.
grab/toss is 2.
Like grabbing Roll's ass and tossing her onto a bed, amirite?
why did mega man not have a helmet in this game anyways
Trigger is a bio-android, so he could have relatives. Even so, he's ancient, doesn't, and she's NBR, so it's fine.
You could equip a helmet, but it didn't do too much and he was more iconic without it. I know that I didn't bother, and it was actively a problem in some stages in the second game.
Because you didn't find a helmet for Roll to fix it up.
sauce for this anime
Tron is a slut.
He canonically sees both Tron and Roll naked, but he only fistpumps to one
medabots
For Megaman.
>Tron is a sweet pure angel.
It's amazing.
Is his name actually "mega man"? Who calls themselves that? It works better in the original series since he's some super fighting robot super hero. Like some Toku hero.
I think they should have just made it a title. Rock "Mega Man" Volnutt.
You wish.
Source for that? Is that a Dengeki PlayStation guidebook? Looks like a fucking harem hentai.
She's actually a sweet kind hearted soul. There's a reason they're pirates. They're kinda forced into it to survive. But deep down Tron is very compassionate and wants what's best for others.
thanks
>Get Misadventures of Tron Bonne
>expect Legends 3 but this time from Tron's perspective
>fantasize about exploring ruins in her mech, and upgrading it
>manage and biuld your servbot team and your base
>turn them into a profitable mafia cartel
>reality it's short missions in the Gustav and a series of mini games
Biggest rip off ever. They should make a Tron Bonne sequel.
>Is his name actually "mega man"?
Yes. Thank stupid localization ideas for that. In JP he is "Rock Volnutt" because the original robot is Rock, and became Rock Man when armed to fight. But the localization has never called Mega Man as "Mega" (outside some Captain N material) and he's always just been Mega Man in every incarnation. So when MML came out, rather than calling him Rock Volnutt and a "Mega Man" for plot reasons, they just named him Mega Man Volnutt.
Actually, it's dumber than that. His name is actually "MegaMan Volnutt". One word. Roll named him, when Barrell Caskett found Mega as a baby.
Actually, why the fuck is his last name "Volnutt" when he was adopted by the Caskett family and didn't know his original name?
I like the idea of his name being actually Rock, even in the original series. Rock n Roll.
There's that blink and you'll miss it scene when Tiesel first appears that implies they might not be priates by choice. Plus they're poor as hell in every other game.
>expect Legends 3
But it came out before MML2 was even released. Why would you think it was a MML3?
The game was short but it sold for cheap, so it wasn't much of a disappointment at the time. The one ruin was kind of disappointing, but it's fun robbing the hell out of the police cars and figuring out how to max out several servbots in a playthrough. There's also lots of silly things to do; try jumping when a servbot is nearby.
>I didn't realize how much Tron has the hots for Rock.
She was the first tsundere I was ever aware of. I'm not sure how you missed it, how the music turns sappy and her eyes got all big in that scene.
I always prefer to think that his name is just Rock Volnutt, and Mega Man Trigger originally, because at least that's not completely retarded.
Yep. It's the cover for the "complete strategy guide" for Legends 2.
It feels almost like a collection of minigames. There's classic stages where you take one of her machines out and it plays like a Legends dungeon, there's puzzle stages, and there's stages where you do things like raid a town or loot a farm, or explore a cave. All but the puzzle and cave ones control similarly. It also has a light management aspect to it in that you can raise your servbots' proficiencies to make them more useful in missions. These minigames can be serious bullshit.
Like Legends 1 and 2, It's a very short game.
They get money, and the ending of 1 they get a huge crystal shard that should have set them up for life. Tiesel is just a poor manager. He invested that money he got into businesses and ran them into the ground. I think that's likely their backstory: The family comes from a rich aristocratic family, but Tiesel squandered their fortune, and forcing them to become pirates.
I loved the crates, tbqh. It felt more clever than most box-pusher minigames.
>Yep. It's the cover for the "complete strategy guide" for Legends 2.
Any scan? These JP guidebooks need to be scanned and archived. Lots of interesting shit in them, including some secrets (like dev interviews, canon information, etc) and they're aestetically nice to look at.
The original character bio was pretty clear that Aero only had eyes for Barret. I don't see that changing, just to add to Rockyboy's alleged harem.
>Like Legends 1 and 2, It's a very short game.
7-9 hours is totally normal. I hate how post PSX era everyone expects these 60 hour RPGs or Open world games. I haaate that. Give me 3-7 hours of replayable tight gameplay and level design.
... what? So he's a time traveler? I'm confused.
>There's that blink and you'll miss it scene when Tiesel first appears that implies they might not be priates by choice. Plus they're poor as hell in every other game.
They're massively in debt, likely to even scarrier criminals than them.
Is it viable to play legends games without lock ons? I always hated those.
How are you this slow? The game made it obvious that Tron wanted to ride the Mega dick.
user, c'mon now. Action RPG's even of the era were longer on average. Or maybe games like OoT just spoiled me.
That's fan speculation. But his name being so similar (Barrel Caskett=Barrett) and having the same prosthetics like the metal plate in his skull is suspect.
I liked when game covers had so much soul like this.
>At first disappointed she wasn't in MVCI.
>Eventually relieved she wasn't part of the shitshow.
youtube.com
Too bad it's not the one we got. This one is still kind of OK, but 2's is the real crime.
I really wanted to strangle Roll for selling all my weapons. This bitch wasn't there when I had to bust my ass off to get those parts.
After Misadventures Tiesel rrealizes that Tron is a big girl and can take care of shit by herself but they're still family they stick together. That said it still has downsides. He basically squandered the fortune they made from MML1's giant refractor because he filled their shop with Otaku bullshit that only he liked
Yeah the NA cover was so damn bland compared to the JP cover. It's such a damn tragedy. This isn't the first time this has happened either.
>2
Don't even remind me of that one. I still get mad thinking about it.
Wait, is the Green robot supposed to be the same Gustaf from Misadventures just without the cockpit head? I never realized it's the same robot. It looks smaller.
SFV and MVCI have that chepa Unreal engine game look to them. A lot of default settings.
Yeah Tiesel kinda fucked the family over with his spending habits.
i'm still pretty damn baffled that they put in tron over fucking megaman in mvc3
>They're kinda forced into it to survive
>they might not be priates by choice
>forcing them to become pirates
No. No they are not. Tron and Teisel try to go legitimate at every opportunity. They just kind of amount to suck at everything. But it's always a matter of convenience and pride that they go into piracy.
The Bonnes wanted to just go digging in Misadventures, and got jumped by Glyde.
Instead of going to the authorities and maybe getting a legitimate commission or bounty: she decided to play the mobster's games before deciding to attack them. Ultimately they steal a golden refractor but lose it.
The Bonnes are just aggressive about digging at first in MML1. Trying to hold the city hostage to gain access to the ruins. Ultimately walking away with the Multirefractor. Tried to retire and open a store and wound up hemorrhaging money. They joined in again in a legitimate hunt for hot-button relics in MML2, but again couldn't help being overly proud and trying to pull out with everything.
Though as follows: we should probably appreciate that the heroes are also bad with money. They push the Flutter so hard it breaks and falls out of the sky. Then repairs and upgrades take "everything they have".
I wish Capcom did more crossovers that aren't fightan. Love their cast of characters, but not the genre.
The helmet decreased the frequency of knockdowns from big hits. I never wore it cause Volnutt looked better without it.
That's why I made these to begin with. Although I was a little too low on this one compared to the official JP cover.
>I'm baffled why this fan favorite character who one of the most popular MvC2/3 characters appears in the sequel especially since this is the only place we'll get to see her
>Ultimately they steal a golden refractor but lose it.
They invest the money into a shop between 1 and 2, but the business fails and they go into debt.
So many Capcom characters in MvC3 had games announced shortly after I'm not really sure that wasn't just a huge promo stunt... like more than usual for a crossover.
I'm not sure how anyone thought generic 3D model of Megaman is more enticing than this.
Yeah idk who would even claim the Bonnes are forced into piracy. That's literally their way of life. What they like to do.
>we should probably appreciate that the heroes are also bad with money. They push the Flutter so hard it breaks and falls out of the sky. Then repairs and upgrades take "everything they have".
My problem with Roll's decision is she sells Mega's weapons without his damn consent. I have that robo boy get blasted to near death in all the MML1 ruins to get those parts for those cool weapons just for Roll to fucking sell all of it without even telling him. I get it's for level 1 purposes for MML2 but it's still pretty annoying.
IIRC Roll named him that because "Mega Man" was her favorite childhood cartoon hero, so she named the mystery kid after her hero. It's probably some recursive reality-type thing since "Mega Men" is a classification of Master System-employed Carbons like Trigger and Juno, and that information probably somehow got into the Carbons' subconsciousness, naming their cartoon character after this, which ended up becoming his name.
>Wanting MML3 when Capcom hasn't made a good looking game in this generation
Glutton for punishment?
Yes: that was the Multirefractor from MML1.
That line was talking about the Golden Refractor from Misadventures.
youtu.be
Literally NO ONE thinks this. Or atleast I hope this is the case. The JP covers for both games completely shit on the NA covers so hard that I literally get annoyed with what we got.
>I'm not sure how anyone thought generic 3D model of Megaman is more enticing than this.
I put off buying legends because of how cheap and budget that cover for 2 looks. I only got into Legends series much later.
Anime was still seen as a turn-off in the west. I know a guy who refused to play SOTN because the venus weed were too anime.
>>I'm baffled why this fan favorite character who one of the most popular MvC2/3 characters appears in the sequel especially since this is the only place we'll get to see her
but over megaman himself? she's literally a megaman character yet the man himself wasn't there
user i literally just played that scene on the ps1 rom
That's why I rather Nintendo take the reigns and make MML3 since their Volnutt model for Smash looks pretty nice.
Well that and because Megaman and Megaman X were big heroes from thousands of years ago and those names just stuck for the later generations. I mean you get a Zero reference if you pick up the Z Saber sword in MML1 and how it was modeled after a "legendary hero"
I get that. I think that was everyone's reaction. I just wanted to take time out to show that either we just need to accept that there's more similarities between the two teams than we might think at a glance: or that Status Quo is a physical entity in the series and it is mighty and indomitable.
Yeah. I think we can accept that both sides have shitty money management problems. Honestly wonder how MML3 would have worsen those problems.
Still it really kind of falls apart with Roll speaking, having favorite videogame as an infant, and identifying Megaman and Barrel deciding to name him that.
Misadventures > basically every other PSX mega man game not named X6 or X7 > 1 > dogturd > 2 > what 3 looked like it was going to be
>Honestly wonder how MML3 would have worsen those problems
They already blew up 22 rockets. I'd be shocked if the pair wasn't in debt.
Could be one of those weird "connections" thing?
He's also known as a type of "Mega Man" unit that the ancients created the same way as Juno is also a "Mega Man" unit, which adds a whole other level of confusion to this bullshit.
At this rate, maybe Megaman's better off staying on Elysium...
Lmao. He kicked that dog like a fucking football.
Kek
That's weird. I remember playing the N64 version and that scene was still in. Did they just change it some other way? I could swear I kicked the dog.
>I could swear I kicked the dog.
Nope. you could just talk to the dog and it leaves like a fucking pussy. You're supposed to kick the dog to get it to run away and play the scene.
What shocked me on repeats, was seeing that Mega Man actually understood and empathized with Tron. Despite never saying one word specifically about her feelings.
How so?
I always kicked the dog because why not?
He actually likes her and doesn't want to hurt her. He was really scared she got killed last time and really mourned her.
What I mean is that in the context of "piracy" presented to us in the original game they're pretty pragmatic. If they're complete dicks just robbing people blind for kicks then it would make their apparent karma dodging at the end kind of gay. But we see Tron getting more despondant over her Megacrush and the stuff they keep losing, Tiesel seems worried about how much money they could lose and Tron's safety and that moment near the end where they realise the island is about to be nuked and it's all their fault.
Compare to the loan sharks from Misadventures. Tron is hardly just "evil" Roll.
Nope.
And then the Japanese names have Bass and Treble as Forte and Gospel. It just doesn't make sense.
More like Megaman is just a nice guy overall
They're still pirates even if they're not completely evil. The point is they chose that life for themselves. They weren't forced.
Beyond dogooderness with Paprika:
He's legitimately worried about Tron enough to check on her after her spiderbot blows up.
He's sullen when he talks about the Bonnes not escaping while watching the Gessleshaft crash.
He's got a dumb goofy look on his face and is overjoyed to see she's survived, even though the Bonnes are hiding out in a reverbot-only pit.
In the second game it's definitely meant to be obvious when Mega Man takes longing sympathetic glances at Tron when she breaks down following her Voice Mimic scene. This amidst his own relief Roll wasn't disowning him, but he takes account of Tron to the point Roll has to prod him to respond.
And... while this is assuming continuity off screen: I don't think he reports on it or berates her for her trick since late Roll is later the one to recommend teaming up with Tron in the ruins.
Man this art makes me sad...
>Ira is there
Right in my feelerinos
Not convinced they're bad with money. I'm sort of thinking Barrel kept their digouts to a minimum for fear of losing Roll like he lost Amelia, or perhaps even accidentally exposing Rock to something that wake up part of his old self.
>We may be pirates, but we're not barbarians. We'll let them keep the toilet paper.
Rock is just an all-around nice dude. He doesn't want to kill them, he just wants them to stop trying to fuck with Kattelox and the other islands
Same. I didn't need this sadness.
He came back to see her a-gain
>or perhaps even accidentally exposing Rock to something that wake up part of his old self.
Does Barrett even know Mega's past? I know he found him and all but that was just it unless Data told him shit.
>Kubon Burgers
>Data got his Pizza
>Given the Bonne emblem I assume there are 40 of those eclairs.
I have to assume there's a picnic basket off screen and the flutter cake is apricot.
I'm shocked and confused we're not drowning in super sweet fanart about that time Trigger healed a cripple little girl like he was Jesus or something.
>We may be pirates, but we're not barbarians. We'll let them keep the toilet paper.
That pretty much sums up the Bonnes' morality.
Translation team made all that up. In the Japanese version, Barryl just named him Rock to make a pun with Roll's name.
>That pretty much sums up the Bonnes' morality.
They also stole all of the town's food IIRC, keeping them above pajeets isn't exactly kind when they're starving.
>Amelia
What?
>He basically squandered the fortune they made from MML1's giant refractor because he filled their shop with Otaku bullshit that only he liked
I don't remember this at all. Man, I haven't played this series in so many years.
They're not broke because they didn't go digging. They're broke because they spent all of their capital from their last dig on a massive technology upgrade. That's the exact same situation the Bonnes were in during Misadventures.
Also, while I'm not going to suggest they work to spite him: Barrell seems real hands off and doesn't presume to be in charge of Roll and Megaman at any time during the games. He might've put his foot down about the Sulfur Bottom, the plans to go to Forbidden island and maybe find the Mother Load. But since that struck Roll with ennui: I think that is more likely to be the first time that happened, rather than the umpteenth.
>In the Japanese version, Barryl just named him Rock to make a pun with Roll's name.
Cute.
Phhh next you'll tell me Tron didn't get the legendary crystal recipe for the Fountain of Root Beer.
Its amazing how pointless SB ended up being.
He probably had to know something was up considering he was the first person to set foot into the Nino ruins in god knows how long and he emerged from some kind of spacefuture egg with a goddamn dancing monkeybot
I meant Matilda. It's been 20 years cut me some slack
Hate me all you want but people wont buy it, the series git shelved for a reason
Well that's how the plot starts. Yuna tries to disable it but it's so damn big it just ends up stuck in the storm.
Alright but just this once. I expect you to fully replay them by the next time I see you Reggie.
There has to be an infographic about "Nominal size of function"
Like when in Mega Man do you expect a giant anything to not go up in flames?
I wonder how things would've changed if Yuna got captured at SB.
>The world in Megaman keeps getting nuked because its the biggest thing around
I think Yuna opening with "Dad, please don't" would've worked. But then we wouldn't have had a game.
That’s literally what light did to the original megaman/rockman there’s also bass and beat keeping along with the theme
I mean, her mystery isn't the sole thing driving the plot, but I doubt she could've dissuaded everyone from attempting.
>I'm just saying it's a nice place you got here. Don't think anything of it.
I wonder how much mainstream buzz an official Mega Man Legends 3 revival could have with the mainstream.
I mean Shenmue had a tiny cult following at best, and yet it all of a sudden became the biggest thing ever with normalfags after the kickstarter and I have no idea why. Not even shitting on Shenmue but fucking wow.
Do you think Mega Man Legends 3 would be disproportionally popular thanks to its notoriety over the years, in spite of prior sales for prior games?
To be fair if the name and the fact everybody who goes there dies didn't stop people then I doubt nothing will.
>I wonder how much mainstream buzz an official Mega Man Legends 3 revival could have with the mainstream.
It'd be huge, and there'd be a good shot at it actually selling decently. A MML 1-2 + Misadventures collection would do well too.
Also I find it funny that her parents went there and Roll didn't think for a second to narrow her search to "Around the fucking island" until by complete accident
But if she is honest or even if she lies and says Forbidden Island is a neigh inescapable time warp or something that prevents the Sulfur Bottom from landing? Then Mega Man doesn't need to rescue them and at least he doesn't wake Sera up and they don't go It's a Mad Mad Mad Mad World on the keys.
Frankly if Yuna was capable of doing what Geetz claimed: Teaching people to make refractors? Then I think they'd call it good "yep the secret treasure was actually the way to make treasure" and people would cool off on digging.
Aren't they not related in Legends?
DASH3 was a top-trending 10 Google Analytic and top 5 Twitter tag while the Prototype was in development. I can't promise that: but the pool is definitely wider than whatever conjecture of a percent of the sales for MML2.
I think they were raised as close friends. I'm not sure Roll ever refers to Megaman as her brother here, even though Barrel found and adopted him.
>I'm not sure Roll ever refers to Megaman as her brother here
She doesn't want to sister-zone herself.
Seems like an airship is an inherently unstable way to pass a windstorm. Though I'm sure someone had to try a regular boat with the advantage of anchors.
I mean, telling the truth would mean saying she is posessing Matilda like a spirit to save people. I doubt they can make refractors, I do think some amount of tech from Elysium is needed, i dunno why.
Probably sea reaverbots
Straight up: "Misadventures" has such potential just as a villain mode. Throw the option to rob anything into MML2 or MML1 and you've got the same game. Just maybe with the Gustav getting lighter if you don't rob and steal.
What are some other games with an atmosphere like MML?
I desperately want to play something similar but the closet thing I can think of are EasyGameStation games.
I mean maybe. It's entirely conjecture on my part I'd admit. But with some of the ruins clearly being mines and Earth being larger than anything orbiting it, with higher energy demands and more reverbots by number: I would think refractors should be required and manufactured on-planet. In the broader scheme I don't think Terra and Elysium systems could be separate if Sera actually controlled Yuna's access to energy.
But even assuming she can explain the process that a completely different 15 year old techgal came up with: Doesn't mean that the ones present, or she can just whip it up out of pocket lint and promises.
I mean yeah there's obviously a way to produce refractors but unfortunately the game doesn't give enough info as to why (or how) Geetz was most likely lying out of his ass about the great legacy.
He was negotiating with people he intended to kill. If the game wasn't rated E he could've really gone all out promising an unlimited blowjob generator and the ability to raise their dead loved ones.
But I guess it would be something to discover if even the Master, and his systems, couldn't re-create the refractors and were also just coasting off the existing stock they could get and repurpose.
Don't forget that Zenny is comprised of the unusable smaller shards of larger refractors. Even their currency is their fuel source.
What's is Bon Bonne's deal? Is he a baby piloting a robot or a giant...robot baby?
I dunno, could it be a cyber baby or baby pilot.
It would be unlikely things were that messed around the Master's time. A possibility is that Megaman kinda fucked shit up when shutting down Elysium, makes him the savior and destroyer at the same time.
Cyborgs not robots or pilots, it's a human toddler brain integrated into a robot body. Teasel is likewise a cyborg, human brain in a mostly robotic body.
I think it's a baby inside of a protective suit. Specifically he's controlling it from inside the head, which is often the only thing left when he gets blown up.
Tiesel's only roboparts are the eyes and ears, thats an armor
>Teasel is likewise a cyborg, human brain in a mostly robotic body.
I bet you think the same about Rock, but he's just wearing armor. We see him in normal clothes. I think you're being thrown off by the style, which makes it look like there'd be no room for the armor to not be part of their body, particularly at the joints.
All I remember is Tiesel saying he isn;t worried about Bon when neither report back implying whatever the fuck Bon is is near indestructible enough that Tiesel doesn't have to worry about infantcide.
Tail Concerto and it's sequel remind me of it.
youtube.com
I originally thought he was just a robot. Now I think maybe a toddler piloting a mech. I think he might be a prototype for the servbots.
>Teasel is likewise a cyborg, human brain in a mostly robotic body.
I thought so too but then 2 shows him in a regular suit and tie. Same with Rock. Turns out that these are just power suits that these humans wear. Tiesel just wears his more often.
>If Tiesel used Bon as a shield, he might've won
You think just because we see them in normal clothes they've got a body made of flesh and blood? We've seen classic Rock and Roll in normal clothes and they're straight up robots. They're cyborgs, Volnutt swaps out his limbs in the games, go read any of the production material.
Yes they wear armor over their cybernetic bodies, but that doesn't mean they're not cyborgs.
The vaccuum arm is explicitly smaller than his regular off-hand arm.
Occam's razor. It's armor, not replacing heads.
>go read
Post source or fuck that claim.
Pretty sure Solatorobo borrowed it's edgy twist from Megaman Legends. Which is a shame because just once I'd like comfy ghibli adventures.
He's still a cyborg, his body under that armor is still mostly synthetic.
I'm not about to dig through shit for you, but feel free to believe whatever you want. They're cyborgs though.
>I don't have to provide source!
Of course you don't. And I don't have to buy your bullshit headcanon even if you try to state it with bullshit authority.
>Pretty sure Solatorobo borrowed it's edgy twist from Megaman Legends.
Never played. Did they say it's a post-apocalypse worled?
I always wondered why they never explain how cat people are persecuted by Dog people.
Android might be a more accurate description. Even when they're 100% biological they're still able to interface with technology and can be reprogrammed.
Not my headcanon it's official, I just don't feel like hunting down a source for you.
And as the other user pointed out some of the sub weapons such as the vaccum arm is smaller than the arm it's replacing, meaning he's swapping out parts occam's razor is now on my side rather than yours. So feel free to provide proof for your claim that he's not a cyborg but infact a normal human who happens to be wearing power armor.
>A possibility is that Megaman kinda fucked shit up when shutting down Elysium
Unlikely. He just fought Sera to a standstill got Elysium to stand down. They still seem ready to wreck shit when Juno calls home all those thousands(?) of years later.
CC2 has said they're big fans of DASH and wouldn't mind taking a crack at a 3rd game if Capcom would let them
Uh huh. Yeah, they're swapping heads like Return to Oz. You'd think something that extreme would be touched upon in game but nope. And it couldn't be that the art style takes liberties with the whole robot armor look. That never happens. Nah, always just swapping heads, surely that's the simplest answer.
Nah, fuck that. You're full of shit.
I don't think it was thousands of years, Megaman's sealing was some sort of time stasis? I thought Baby Trigger was immediatly found by Barell at a later time
Armswapping not being touched upon in the game makes sense when it's just a facet of everyday life and there's no frame of reference for the characters to think it's weird. So of course they wouldn't bring it up.
I don't want to spoil it but I'll put it in spoilers
Cute Cat Dog world was made with super science. It's annoying because the first game was strictly cutesy fantasy/steampunk
Return to Oz is the best example you can think of? Are Cyborgs an alien concept for you or something? Never seen like Ghost in the Shell or Robocop?
>Tiesel looks away from Sera after reaching the center of the Forbidden Island
>japan caring about incest
lol
Legends 3 plus a package collection of 1,2 a Misadventures would be nice.
However, i'm imagining they're gonna make X9 and MM12 first.
What's the lewdest she's been in canon or a capcom game?
She was straight up naked in Legends 2, full frontal for Megaman, but offscreen for us.
A legends collection would be ideal for guaging fan interest. Base it on the PSP versions, make it multi-platform.
i did not play Legends 2, got a clip?
>Rock got to see Tron's hairy cunny
>hairy
Given how all her clothes burned off in the Hover Gustaff's explosion, I wouldn't be surprised if her hair down there burned off too.
Maybe after X9 and another possible ZX title, and maybe SF. I want MML3 more than I want any of the above titles, but I'm used to Legends being put far on the backburner by this point. I'll still play that long game for it to get made, though.
technically both replies are correct. Carbons are organical but synthetical at the same time. they can swap organic body parts with mechanical ones on the fly. and viceversa.
So when Teasel has his robobody on, his human one is stored somewhere else, when he put on the suit at the start of MML2 he was using his oganic body.
Yeah and Nier Automata did it too. If your point is that the idea isn't really original then congratulations, welcome to Story Writing 101. Nausicaa probably didn't even do it first, but right now I'm too lazy to check.
I think Nausicaa was first for that very specific story configuration (Post apocalypse, altered humans in charge, real humans in storage, altered humans to die to allow old humans to take over). You can find likely antecedants before that though, but I can't think of any. tvtropes probably has some.
everything is stolen from somewhere else
The only thing that matters is execution not originality
Original Legends did a more interesting take on it. More like a beaurocarcy monitoring the planet that conisdered surface dwellers a pest than something that needed to be instantly purged. You can argue that legends 2 never actually states what the fuck Carbons are just that Master modified them into more human forms for an unspecified reason. They could just be terraforming robots.
Yeah, and Nier is also a Nausicaa rip off. It's getting to this point where this storyline is pretty cliche.
Really, reaverbots are the terraforming force deployed. Carbons are more like guinea pigs.
it was really obvious tho
I love her voice.

Even now I still hope for MML3. I will never not be mad unless it gets made.
>implying
Nah son. Legends Roll is second only to loli Roll.
Nothing comfier than exploring dungeons collecting ancient relics while cute as fuck waifu voice getting all worried over the radio waiting for my return.
