If we're talking gacha, Girls Frontline is alright. There isn't any competitive aspects like FEH's arena or aether raids, but you can get all the resources you need for free and accumulate them over time. As for non-gacha, I sometimes play Vista Golf, Dune, and Dungeon Cards.

I've been into Teppen recently. It's great if you like Capcom characters and I find it quite fun. I haven't paid any money yet but I'm sure there is a point where you will want to pay real money for more cards. I will quit when I get to that point.

Sdorica's nice and chill, and the art's pretty cute. Paladins Strike isn't too bad. I haven't played Epic Seven, but I hear good things about it. Kinda bummed that King's Knight got shuttered.

Teppen is good. It's a mix of a CCG and a fighting game with Capcom characters. New Ranked rotation just started and the first post-launch set is out soon.
Also, mobile is the only place Afterburner Climax can be officially downloaded anymore, just a reminder to play that great game even if it wasn't always exclusive.

Seen this being shilled oftenly on Yea Forums. Why is it good? For me it just seems like those old Room Escape games that were literally everywhere on Flash's heyday with a nice coat of paint.
Seconding Candies 'n Curses. Was like a good week worth of fun, tho it's pretty ad-heavy and gets pretty annoying on the second "cycle".

There's actually some endless runner games that predate it but none as notable. The game that "popularized" it, particularly on mobile, was Temple Run.

The two big ones I remember were Dino Run and Canabalt. Especially the latter one got really huge for some reason. They were both side-scrollers tho.
Thinking back to it, there was also Kid Klown. Could that be considered a "runner" game?

That's essentially what it is, so if you don't like puzzle games it probably won't be the best for you. It utilizes the phone's touchscreen so you can look around the objects you're observing and interact with them, with the goal of the first game being to get to the center of the box in my other post
