DOOM ETERNAL SPOILERS

I'm currently working as a QA-Tester for id Software (no, I'm not going to reveal more details because of obvious reasons) so as you can imagine I had access to A LOT of details involving the intro and parts of the main plot so here we go:

>(PAST) The game starts with a flashback/combat tutorial of the Slayer leading a legion of Night Sentinels into a bloody battle against the demonic armies of The Blind Council, a rogue/corrupted order of royal scholars led by Deag Grav, the Hell Priest of The Blood Temple.
>The Slayer has full health and armor and wears some kind of proto-Praetor suit that looks like a cross between the 2016 and the Eternal one, with bare biceps and everything but without the Flame thrower/grenade launcher (we get those later in the game).
>However, and since this segment takes places in the past, we only have access to the Super Shotgun (without the Meat-Hook), the Ballista and The Sentinel Sword, an special weapon that works in a similar way to the chainsaw. The player needs to glory kill 3 or more demons in order to charge its power bar.
>An in-game cutscene plays once the tutorial is completed, in which the Slayer is being praised by a crowd of victorious warriors with swords and futuristic weapons.
>However, there is no victory, because immediately after this an enormous winged being slays all the sentinels with a blast of golden energy, burning almost everyone and turning the few survivors into mindless Unwilling.
>Enraged and with no strength, the Slayer struggles to get on foot while the malevolent creature throws him to the air.
>Just when he’s about to crash into the ground, a hooded figure rescues him and then the screen turns to black. The next thing we hear is a voice who says that “They are no longer our people to save”. The title sequence plays.

>(PRESENT) The story starts with the Slayer waking in an ancient palace of Sentinel origin (The Hub) 8 months after the events of DOOM 2016. He’s partially naked and looks more ripped and scarred than in the previous game intro.
>There is no immediate action, instead, we get a chance to walk around a practice some maneuvers and hand to hand/glory kill basics with captive Imps.
>The Hub is basically the Slayer’s little playground/fortress of solitude, an enormous and detailed place filled with lore and nodes to older id games and pop culture classics.
>The peace is interrupted, and the place starts to tremble while demonic chantings sound in the distance. The action starts and with this our first mission, which consists of scaping to a safe area, more specifically, the armory, a sacred place full of treasures and vestiges from past events.
>Here the Slayer puts his helmet and a partially broken chest-piece from his old armor and grabs the Super Shotgun from an altar, now equipped with a mod called The Meat-Hook. A firsts person animation plays followed by a group of demons teleporting into the room.

>The ceiling is falling, and the Slayer now must deal with the hordes of Hell while trying to dodge the debris and escape.
>Once we get to the exit, a towering demon known as The Marauder starts to chase the Slayer. A third-person cutscene starts and just when the Slayer is about to shoot him a portal appears and tethers him out of the Hub while a confusing Marauder looks how his enemy disappears.
>Infuriating, the Marauder starts to grunt, but a mysterious voice tells him that he needs to be calm, because now “It is their time to give penance”.
>We are now in a familiar place and the tethering animation from DOOM 2016 stops. There is no one to be seen except for a female scientist and a male UAC technician who seem to be intimidated by the presence of the Slayer.
>The woman tells him that she had orders to retrieve him from his place due to an emergency of catastrophic events.
>“There is no time, the UAC is overrun by demons and The Cultists are taking control of the Phobos Base, we need to get out and destroy everything before their leader realizes you are here”
>The man interrupts her and says that “He’s awake”, a dark-ambient remix of “Phobos Anomaly” starts to play while a gigantic capsule reveals the destroyed torso of Samuel Hayden hanging from some tubes and cables.
>He looks at the camera asking, “Why are you here?” in an agonizing voice and then he starts to cough in a robotic voice.
>The Slayer odyssey begins…

I'm kinda busy ATM but I will try to answer any question related to the gameplay or story itself.

reported for revealing classified information

is the classic weapon pose setting still in?

I didn’t read all of this shit because I already know it’s going to be dumbed-down zoomer garbage, fuck off NuDoom trannies.

The Kahn Makyr BTFO him and took the Crucible. Everything related to he Earth Invasion is a plan led by The acolytes of the Blind Counsil, AKA the UAC cultists so yep, he was never the villain after all...

Yes, as an unlockable.

nice.

do we get to see slayer's face and learn more about past? including his name?
So, how does the game end?

Dilate.

We partially see his face at the end, there is a touching cutscene involving a rabbit and the reconstruction of Earth.

He "sacrifies" himselfs but actually enters to an Eternal (hence the name) state of suffering and time-travels to various places in order to keep the demons in line.

Is the anti-sjw joke still in?

do we get the old plasma gun that looks like a cardboard box?

are you blind?

Is the Slayer and Doomguy one and the same?

doomworld.com/forum/topic/108745-playtester-for-doom-eternal-leaks/

The joke was never intended as an "anti-SJW" crap so you guys are just delusional.

Is it still in though?

Yup.

...

Yeah, Hugo doesn't give a crap about censorship, but Marty seemed kinda worried...

Sounds cringe. Why the fuck couldn't they make it about a space marine that kills demons... Why this cringy superhero shit

based. Thanks man

Yes, but is inspired by the DOOM 3 look instead of the D2016 one.

IDK, ask Hugo.

People memed Doomguy being OP and id made those memes canon.

That's fake actually.

hello again, leaky-kun

What's the pistol looking like

Not the same guy, sorry to disappoint you.

Are you sure?

There is no pistol.

That guy was a super obvious larper since he literally revealed nothing new and gave the most safe, non-answers ever. OP at least put effort into his leak, fake or not.

>He "sacrifies" himselfs but actually enters to an Eternal (hence the name) state of suffering and time-travels to various places in order to keep the demons in line.

I actually really like this if it's true. It fits well with the title of the game and helps make the "all wads are canon" theory more plausible, which is both dumb and fun.

He's the same guy, but in a Link/Zelda kinda way. Basically he's so old that has been fighting demons trough ages and "appears" in different dimensions when needed.

I'm no larper, go ahead, ask me anything.

But Link and Zelda are different Link and Zelda in some games.

Is the final boss the Khan Makyr? Why does he want humanity to get eaten by Hell? Are the Night Sentinels related to humanity in anyway? What are all of the different areas we'll be visiting? Do we meet Satan or whoever is running Hell? How's the level design?

Forgot also: what the fuck is the deal with argent energy? What exactly is it?

Also is GOD present in anyway?

Not him but Link is the same spirit always

how many crashes so far?

>Is the final boss the Khan Makyr?
The final boss is indeed the Khan Makyr, but unlike the Spider-Demon bossfight SHE (yep, she has breasts) has at least 3 forms, the final one involving a fusion with a known dormant Titan.

>Why does he want humanity to get eaten by Hell?
She doesn't want "Humanity" to die but rather liberate the souls out of their fleshy cages. There is an interesting sub-plot involving transcendence and how these rogue heavenly beings are using a machine in order to extract the souls of living beings and place them in a digital "paradise" where they can enslave them and prevent a new energy crisis among other human-caused disasters. As by The UAC cultists and the Blind Council, well, they are just pawns in a bigger game.

>Are the Night Sentinels related to humanity in anyway?
No, they are just another humanoid race from and extinct planet They share some similarities with humans but were somehow more advanced and lived in a place full of high tech and fantasy stuff, something like Krypton x Masters of The Universe. The Doom Slayer ended on their planet after roaming FOR EONS trough dimensional portals in Hell fighting demons, so the D64 ending was, indeed, canon.

>What are all of the different areas we'll be visiting?
There is a total of 18 levels, including the Hub, divided by thematic and some of them are mixed, for example we start with the Sentinel Prime battle and then we travel to places like Mars, Phobos, Earth, Sentinel Prime again, The Empyrean Colonies (those where based on the MP maps), and a completely remodeled UAC now full of satanic imagery and so on. The "Heaven" levels appear later in the game and the end battle takes place in merged reality full of fucked up surreal elements.

>Do we met Satan?
There is no "Satan" in Eternal but rather various rulers, yes, some of them are bosses.

>How's the level design?
Pretty vertical, more open and full of non-lineal areas. The arena combats are reduced tho.

A LOT, mostly when fighting multiple enemies in closed areas.

Argent Energy is just a corrupted celestial force used by the angels in order to attract and enslave advanced civilizations during times of crisis.

How does the game end?

> rogue heavenly beings

So does that mean we aren't fighting all of heaven, just a rogue faction of dickish angels that want to dominate other civilizations? Do we know what the rest of heaven are doing during all this?

>memed
He's always been OP, the whole point of Doom was to make a fast shooter where you mow down enemies quickly.

>So does that mean we aren't fighting all of heaven, just a rogue faction of dickish angels that want to dominate other civilizations?
Yep.

Is the winged creature basically the Maledict from Doom 3?

Is the voice that says “They are no longer our people to save” the voice from "you will be worse, rip and tear until it is done" from the first game?

If the Doom64 ending is canon, is the UAC in this game far in the future from Doom 1 / 2? Or is the slayer from Sentinel origin, and not originally the marine?

All this info lines up with every single interview id has given, as well as some scenes from trailers so I believe it imo

Attached: D-g9tFgU8AA8uzk.jpg (880x880, 115K)

Is the soundtrack more heavy or less heavy than the previous game?

What is the BFG 10000 firing at off of the Phobos base? How do you acquire a hand-held BFG in this game? How does it differ from 2016 version?

>She doesn't want "Humanity" to die but rather liberate the souls out of their fleshy cages. There is an interesting sub-plot involving transcendence and how these rogue heavenly beings are using a machine in order to extract the souls of living beings and place them in a digital "paradise" where they can enslave them and prevent a new energy crisis among other human-caused disasters. As by The UAC cultists and the Blind Council, well, they are just pawns in a bigger game.

sounds lame desu

It seems that nobody's participating so I'm going to leave a few more details before I go:

FACTIONS AND CHARACTERS

>Hell, The UAC Cultists/Hell Priests and The Khan Maykr/Evil Angels are the main antagonists.
>On the other side we have The Sentinels/Wraiths (in spirit form), The Phobos-Based UAC, Vega (yes, he makes a return) and Samuel Hayden as allies. The last one has his own motives but is incapacitated until the ending so doesn't count as "evil", at least for now.

Enemies

>There is a new monster category called "synthetic demons", as the name implies these are human-made creatures created by the Cultist wing of the UAC in order to conquer Earth and stop the Slayer.
>The new Cyberdemon is called The Tyrant and is a cross between Human and Baalgar DNA brought to life trough cybernetic implants and black magic. He's a mini-boss and appears multiple-times, just like his classic counterpart.
>The Arachnotrons are mass-produced clones made from the DNA of Olivia/The Spider-Mastermind. These are your typical spider-like beasts with multiple attacks and a medium health pool.
>Like the Tyrants, the new Mancubi are partially human genetically speaking. They have two eyes and multiple nipples as a mutation caused during the process (expect a lot of nipple-related inside jokes in the data logs).
>The Carcass is an obese human corpse brought to life with cybernetic legs and an holographic shield. The design was inspired by the Quake 2/4 Stroggs and the Lopers from RTCW.
>Revenants are sleeker and deadlier than before. They have new armor and a softer skull with eyelids and more muscle.

overall do you think this game is more fun or doom 2016?

Are the bosses varied to a degree? Do we get to fight the winged demon? Are titans also bosses? Is the cyberdemon a common enemy?

Attached: 9980F5BA-B6CC-4E49-872A-359BCD46188E.png (447x433, 382K)

Not participating? nigger I just asked 5 unanswered questions

Oh and how many bosses are in the game?

Attached: 1EA6A970-72E8-4245-98E4-2BF524320B37.jpg (480x498, 50K)

This is all very detailed and lines up with every piece of concept art and all the info we know, so I believe you, thank you for putting your job on the line for us OP

Attached: 1556942607325.png (532x582, 514K)

>there's a story

Yikes and yeesh.

>Is the winged creature basically the Maledict from Doom 3?
No.

>Is the voice that says “They are no longer our people to save” the voice from "you will be worse, rip and tear until it is done" from the first game?
Yes, he's the Seraphim, he's the big bad behind everything but they are keeping that for a sequel/DLCs.

>If the Doom64 ending is canon, is the UAC in this game far in the future from Doom 1 / 2? Or is the slayer from Sentinel origin, and not originally the marine?

I explained this before. The DOOM timeline is cyclical and the Marine/Slayer is basically a force of nature destined to cleanse not only Earth, but different realities from demons and evil beings. He wandered trough Hell for years and ended in a time-loop which led him to a new dimension called Sentinel Prime where he was considered an equal and later as a leader due to his incomparable strength.

I think that's more "varied" than funnier but overall I liked it a lot.

Sorry my man, I'm doing my best.

The Marauders (yes, they are at least 3 of them), The Betrayer (the king looking dude from the trailer, he's now the demon with the shield from the cover-art), Tyrants (mini-bosses but whatevs), The Blind Council (Deag Grav, Nei' Dan and another old fuck with a funny helmet), The Doomhunter (appears multiple times), The Ancient Titan (no, not the IOS), The Kahn Makyr and his final form which is basically The Icon of Sin (minus the Romero head).

Thanks mate.

Awesome. Thanks

One more thing. What exactly are Marauders? Are they corrupted night sentinels?

So Doom Slayer is Doomguy in spirit but not in body?

thank you OP.

this one?

Attached: 0765084c2c180372f7fb62796631279b[1].jpg (1920x1080, 132K)

Oh shit, I was confused, no, that's the default look, I was talking about this one (yes, we have weapon skins now).

Attached: Plasmagun3.png (798x435, 392K)

Does Eternal still feature those Half Life 2-esque cutscenes where you're forced to stand around in a room listening to someone talk at you? One of the worst parts of 2016, imo.

Attached: 1558787601113.png (278x341, 146K)

fuck yeah

Yes, they are corrupted loyal guards, one of them was a friend of the Slayer.

Sadly yes.

Damn.

Attached: 1563659561609.png (250x273, 157K)

The Slayer is not the Doom Guy from Doom 1&2.

I think OP is explaining that no matter the reality, the universe has demons and the answer is some form of doomguy, but they are different people

So is the guy talking in this trailer Dr. Bertruger or just some random cultist/scientist guy?

youtube.com/watch?v=tmsRkgHps5I

OP literally said that 64's ending is canon. Doomguy in 2016 and Eternal is the same as in the originals.

Do any metal musicians cameo in the music?

Glad that's finally cleared up, so the Doom Slayer is the Doomguy but not the Doomguy like that Tweet in the past from id stated.

>tfw no Chex Quest Eternal

He's THE SAME guy from 1,2 and 64, not sure about 3 tho.

Okay, but the UAC from 1/2/64 is from an alternate reality, not a timejump in the 2016 timeline?

That's Deag Grav (fun fact: The board of directors of the UAC is conformed mainly by evil entities older than time itself, and some of them are the men known as the Blind Council).

Yes, since 2016 implies that 3 occurred in another reality.

Attached: 1551344804905.jpg (1024x576, 118K)

Who ever asked for all this story stuff in a Doom game

Attached: 02d80e71.jpg (286x327, 12K)

One of the pieces has samples from Nine Inch Nails and Chris Vrenna.

Yep, kinda.

...

Hugo. The guy's obsessed with world building and readable lore.

So does the DLC final boss from 3 make an appearance?

Anything from Doom 64 in this game?

double chainsaw

Attached: 1538650284058.png (969x566, 474K)

Yep, and he's a really nice and cultured guy (please don't fire me I'm just hyping your game).

Not sure if you know this or not, but are the two DLC’s focused on new protags?

didn't read, only care about blowing demons up

Nope.
Doomhunter's chainsaw, allusions to the ending and mentions to the Mother Demon, etc.

Also do the DLC’s take place during the invasion on earth or before that? Just curious

Attached: 0C3A0E72-5874-46A9-B2F6-6ED2C5D5383F.png (640x480, 424K)

I must admit I hope the game has more stupid shit like this.

>My dad works at Nintendo
>(no I'm not going to prove it)
every fucking day with you faggots

tell us more you faggot I want to know the whole plot
do we get to go to Heaven
do we fight God
do we fight Satan
is Samuel Hayden (S. Hayden - S ayden) Satan?
how does it end
and most importantly - can we switch back to the Doom 2016 weapon skins instead of the ugly fucking guns they had in the trailers

I'm still saying the hub is specifically made for seling microtransactions.

New stories and protags, the art team is working on the blockout/assets and the narrative guys are tuning some details but I can confirm that:

One of them is Phobos, the other is Crash, no, I'm serious, they want to expand the DOOM Universe in any way possible. Everything takes place DURING the invasion and the focus is more story-oriented. Hugo and Marty wanted to add every gameplay aspect to the main campaign and experiment with new narrative ideas with the DLC, just in case.

I always pirate my sp games but HOLY SHIT I NEED TO PREORDER

Attached: 1557433439380.jpg (632x491, 118K)

Sorry to disappoint you but I'm the one working at id, not my dad, and I'm thinking about posting some WIP images later but give me some time.

>crash
oh my
ohhh myy
posting images in this thread or just v in general?

Attached: 1512681189161.png (1024x1447, 497K)

Any other normal enemies not shown so far?

OP is a lying faggot.
I got the real leaks
Doom Stayer is mad and kills a bunch of shit

Can believe no one ask this yet OP.
Is the game fun?
What did you enjoy?
And what you did not enjoy?

Even the art team despised this skin-meme shit, don't fall for it user (there's gonna be cosmetic MTX for Battle Mode, but you can also get some skins and taunts by playing, except for pre-order bonuses of course).

This one, but not ATM, I need to go to the office first.

The bald niggers from D2.

yeah I also realized I would be giving money to bethesda so nvm

It's 1:30 in the morning in texas, you're saying the thread is going to be up when work starts? or that you can gain access right now?

I AM GOING TO SLEEP BUT I DEMAND A RESPONSE TO FROM OP, HE BETTER DELIVER BY THE TIME I WAKE UP TOMORROW

The game is pretty enjoyable, funnier and more varied than 2016 IMHO. There is something amazing with the way the levels play, from the loading screens to the small cutscenes that play in-between. Also the "arena type" sections are significantly reduced so expect a less repetitive experience. If you are a completionist like myself you are going to have a great time!

I cannot think about a single bad thing, maybe more variety when it comes to weapon mods? Some of the weapons are fine but others feel kinda meh, but that's just my opinion. I liked battle mode too but it gets repetitive and at times I miss some classic FFA or TDM modes.

The ending is where you fight the powerful archdemon, DOOT

Who the fuck is that mad scientist voice from the gladiator trailer released not too long ago

How is the new movement stuff like swinging, wall climbing and side dashes? They look pretty fun.

...

Oh yea and the grapple, is it just to pull yourself towards to enemies or can you hook to stuff in the environment?

This is kino. Holy shit. How do people not like this?

Ok so what the fuck does he want

How is Mick Gordon's soundtrack? Would you say it's better than what he did with Doom 2016?

>How do people not like this?
Why would expect people to care about the lore of a Doom game.

>break an enemy's arm and stab them in the face with the bone

Attached: 1555195347352.png (371x532, 290K)

Obviously that not right now, just give me some time, I have a terrible headache and I will reply sooner or later.
Ok, ok, let's see
>Do we get to go to Heaven
Yes, the 3 final levels take places in Heaven, you start in some kind of mothership full of techno-organic crap and droids with skull switches and weird stuff, after that the Slayer teleports to an unknown location known as The Source, a place that look like and ancient citadel of sorts and the final level is some 2001: Space Odyssey kind of fight with trippy lights and weird faces and other creepy stuff.
>Do we fight God
No, you fight GODS (plural)
>Do we fight Satan
Not Satan but someone more "Iconic"
>is Samuel Hayden (S. Hayden - S ayden) Satan?
Nah, but he's body is a vessel for a similar entity.
>How does it end
With the Slayer beating the shit out of everyone and sealing a pure energy portal with his body while rescuing some screaming civilians/aliens. There is a blast and you see a familiar ending with people and other beings living together in some Earthly planet full of green hill and bunnies. The Universe thinks of you as a Martyr and the credits roll. Just before the credits ends, we hear a robotic voice talking to the guy from the intro about a mutual plan going as they expected, they shake hands and Hayden is looking at a wall full of screens like the Matrix guy, observing a lot of recordings for different periods of time and dimensions, all of them with the Slayer fighting for Eternity. He chuckles and tells to his "employees" (demonic entities with corporate clothes) to keep you bussy and then the camera focus one of the screens with the current version of the Slayer trapped in some gruesome battle against a variety of demons, one of them punches him and his helmet flys away, revealing part of his faces as he looks to the camera with a confident/evil grin (the face he makes when he picks weapons in the older games).

>microtransactions in doom
Is this true? I suppose it was inevitable but damn that's so lame. No series is safe. Industry crash when?

can we adjust the ui?

Sorry for the typos, I'm tired af and I'm going to sleep, good night guys.

Point to where people are saying they don't like it

can we adjust ui?

Yes.

Do you do cringey shit like killing angels and god or are you still a straight up demon slayer?

Are there any tracks in the ost that top BFG Division?

as in, can we remove that fucking ugly green ui and make it like doom 2016

How is it different from killing demons?
Angels could be cool depending on how they design them.

I don't care about your retarded story.
Can I skip level entirely by way of secret passages?
Can I skip boring encounters and arenas through the same?
Do the glory kills actually serve a purpose this time around rather than being gore for edgy 12 year olds?
Can I drop the piece of shit pistol into the nearest star?

theres micro transactions in it? its bethesda so it shouldnt surprise me. i like that games are getting micro x and making political statments because i need a new hobby anyway.

In what way is that cringey?

i hope next gen consoles require you to put quarters in them to play, i hate owning things i pay money for. i should have to pay upfront for everything and then indefinetly afterwards.

i wish things like dishes, chairs , beds , and cupboards implemented systems where i had to pay with each use. i always think to myself its basically stealing not paying a matainance fee everytime i use a glass.

and thus a pirate is born.

>complaining about doom having gore and being edgy

How stupid are you?

Do I need a rune to airstrafe well?

boring

This shit reads like reddit tier fanfiction.

Elder Scrolls 6 junior concept artist here, might make a thread later and post something
I don't know the story fully but here is what I know and what I painted
>TES VI is indeed called Redfall
>It's mostly hammerfell and some islands in the center of the nearby sea, but that location acts sort of like High Hrothgar. There is a big castle structure on this island with secrets that you slowly uncover through story but you have to come back to it through different points of main story, there is this big glowing crystal looking tear inside of it
>It takes place approximately at the same time as Skyrim I think or like one year after, but the main point is that events of Skyrim are just reaching rest of tamriel
>I draw a lot of nagas, they are one of the generic enemies
>There is a lot of water/coastal stuff but no ships or anything like that
>Game actually looks very realistic, a lot of the assets are done with advanced photo scanning techniques, characters and environments look detailed like Death Stranding nothing like TES V or Fallout 4
>The game is mainly about political stuff of super traditionalists who have been dwindling recently slowly returning more and more into prominent power after Empire failed, and you also have more metropolitan and modern faction which at that point is majority but people are losing faith in them.
>Empire has almost no presence in Hammerfell other than a questline with Imperial spies, Oculatus I think
>The main villain is a general from the war with elves that is trying to sink hammerfell with help of the big futuristic vessel on that island because he needs to retreive it for the dominion but he also has a grudge against hammerfell

I got there because I was an /ic/ shitter and knew one of their main world artists. I don't have some deep knowledge about TES since this series is boring in my opinion but I can answer what I know.

They're retarded boomers and/or contrarians.

EZ question for you OP to see if your full of shit or not. What floor are you on in the building? That won't break NDA :)

also some general technical stuff that is important
>no voiced protag
>you can mix and match armor types and materials dynamically, sort of like fallout 4 crafting
>you can combine spells together
>combat looks faster and has counters and stuff
Game actually looks very pretty, honestly, it is unlike anything bethesda done before
I work on the third floor of rockville office, piccard str

so is doom guy actually same across all games?

read

Why doesn't this game have body awareness but garbage games like (((Wolfenstein))) does?

pic related is what I mean about body awareness...

Attached: Dark Messiah feet.jpg (1920x1080, 650K)

>female doomslayer means niceguy hayden

Why is this dynamic amusing as fuck to me.

probably bullshit but I'll bite; how's the writing? is it more of an RPG or is it a casual shtifest like Shitrim?

I dunno how the writing is, I get notes from art director and general stuff that we talk about, never actually read what Emil and Kuhlmann write.
The general story seems to be cool, it has sort of Skyrim civil war vibe but it's more like a culture war with a bigger danger from a third political party inside. I guess it's a bit topical in a roundabout way, but there is no direct parallels to current politics.
> is it more of an RPG or is it a casual shtifest like Shitrim?
It is casual but I think it has more mechanics than Skyrim. There is more stuff to play around with, I don't know how skills and leveling works but block/counters look dynamic and cool and the armor system looks cool.
I can answer more about the visual stuff of what there is and how it looks, like armors and weapons or NPCs and generic enemies.

Also probably there will be nothing shown from it until at least 2020, but if you remember what I wrote here you will see that I'm legit.
I will try to post some snipets of art, but not my art later.

>3
does the Arch-Vile function exactly like he does in Doom II? By that I mean, does he revive demons, does his fire attack take a huge amount of damage and blast you a short distance away?

does it still use trashy 3rd person cutsenes?

this reads like a pretty good leak desu

I hope you get blacklisted

Say what you want but art direction for Eternal looks really nice

>He looks at the camera asking, “Why are you here?” in an agonizing voice and then he starts to cough in a robotic voice.
This is fake, that voice isn't hayden

please do post some, I'll keep the thread alive

is doomguy in super smash bros?

Who is the Maurader? And is the Knight Sentinal Leader/Betrayer confirmed to be the ghost that is seen in the trailer? Also is the Cyberdemon fought at the Tower of Babel? Do you fight more than one Cyberdemon?

Attached: Knight Sentinal Leader in Doom E3 2019 Trailer.png (1062x760, 1.08M)

if the bread isn't alive I'll post in a separate thread
generic enemy groups goes something like this
>Redguards of different kind, guys from weird tribes, usual redguards, pirates etc.
>Aldmeri spies
>different desert creatures
>Naga tribes
>sacred undead are sort of like draugr
>a lot of undead, there is undead killer tribe questline
>big sand worms
there is more that I am not remembering

How many non redguards are there? Like how in Skyrim probably 50% or more of the enemies were nords but the rest were a mix.

>spoilers for a game where you just shoot and kill everything
even if these are true who even gives a fuck? lmao like do you even realize who the doom audience is?

When/how do you use the Crucible?

Do we get to beat the shit out of the dark lord of the 4th age (that demon voice in Doom 2016)

>Pretty vertical, more open and full of non-lineal areas. The arena combats are reduced tho.
I swear to God if you are lying and is arena shit after arena shit like 2016 I will find your ass

>I'm currently working as a QA-Tester for id Software (no, I'm not going to prove this claim because of obvious reasons)
Okay.

I like this a lot more than the 2016 plasma gun

He isnt any more OP than all the other FPS heroes of different games.

>demons being half human again outside zombies with guns
Why do people think this is a good idea again?

I feel Hell does not need that much stoy since they already made it sound a bit too alien/human related for a series about killimg Hell

It's even worse when Hell doesn't feel like the actual bad guys.
Just random aliens pretending that got enhanced by an evil company.

sounds like a lie

>Doom
>Story
what went so wrong, i want to go back

lol

how's the difficulty?
from the presentation we've seen, the game seems harder at base difficulty than D44M

Is it fun?

What cheats are there?

i wish my could run this

>>Is the final boss the Khan Makyr?
>The final boss is indeed the Khan Makyr, but unlike the Spider-Demon bossfight SHE (yep, she has breasts) has at least 3 forms...

>The Kahn Makyr and his final form which...

Okay, this is all fake. Mutiple people posting pretending to be OP. Fuck this gay place.

fucking deluded incel

I need to know, is the the Wretch a thing in Eternal?

Multiplayer? Is Team deathmatch and other modes returning? Any improvement?

No High Rock at all?

>Hugo and Marty wanted to add every gameplay aspect to the main campaign and experiment with new narrative ideas with the DLC, just in case.
god they are fucking GENIUSES.

You're a lowly qa tester. Your job is to break shit. Why would we want more details?

This is peak garbage even for a fanfiction.
Jesus.
This is basically call of duty prologue.
>tell the player we punished snake n shit
>put the player in fukin hub
>rape the player????
>punishd snek we need your help wif sum bad goys they killyd our rider
>rider moans

can you switch back to the old armor for cut-scenes?

Wtf is this shitty WoW plot?? Is this really your Doom, incels?

I want the slayer to lose the Praetor suit and go back to his original Doom 1&2 one.

>art team despised this skin-meme shit
Why?

>GODS
cringe and heathenpilled

BUT YOU DIDN'T ANSWER THE MOST IMPORTANT QUESTION: CAN WE SWITCH THE WEAPON SKINS BACK TO DOOM 2016 MODELS?
The new shotgun is better, but the gauss gun, assault rifle, minigun, and rocket launcher were leagues better
Plasma is about the same quality imo
Also are there any other weapons, or are they all basically reskins of what was already in nudoom?

NO SERIOUSLY WHY DOESN'T THIS ARTIST DRAW MORE PICS

Attached: need tomboy.jpg (750x598, 201K)

Does it have any easter eggs to other classic fps like Blood?
A Caleb cameo wouldn't be bad at all.

lol didn't read, but fuck I have 2 month left to finish 3 and 64
