Honestly had to force myself to finish season 4, the formula i described above just got so boring to watch

Actually quite a lot of value was lost. The dubs had glorious 5.1 audio which sounds so much better than the 2.0 for the Japanese blurays.
And you can find remuxes that let you use Japanese voice with "dub" 5.1 audio.
Obviously can't do that for 5th and final stage so it sounds a bit flat.

The only modification I've done is replace the factory spoiler with the (weirdly) more discreet TRD one. Recently ordered some Watanabe wheels direct from the factory in Japan but those will take a few months to arrive. Not too interested in replacing any other perfectly good parts but as stuff wears out I may upgrade with a better aftermarket alternative.
