how many fucking times does Zero die again

why is zero such a jobber

X1, X5, and Zero 4. He also gets critically injured in X3.
If we're going to be thorough, Giro dies in ZX and so does Model Z in ZXA. Also Zero.EXE can die in the bad ending of Network Transmission.

canonicaly he never dies, he travels to the tatsunoko and marvel universe.

I thought Albert was holding Model Z in the true ending of ZXA, or was that just another Model W?
ZX3 Never ever, by the way.

Don't forget the offscreen death before Zero 1 and if you really wanna be a cunt you can throw in Omega's deaths in Zero 3 and ZX's secret boss.

>true ending of ZXA
sequel never fucking ever and it hurts

Ah, that's right. Still, Model Z sacrifices himself for Grey/Ashe so that almost counts.

Buy the Zero/ZX Collection next year and we'll get one. Maybe. Hopefully.

>sequel comes out
>it continues after the fake ending
>tries too hard to be like ZX1

They are both robots of course they can be rebuilt.

dont forget in X3 if you dont rescue zero's pieces you do kill the real one

Do people really play the X series for the story? The original 4 games are great but who cares

Shit like this is why I'd rather get a brand new Megaman series than a sequel to an old one. It would give the devs a lot more room for creativity and they wouldn't be able to fuck with existing characters.

Yes.

does zero have a fucking kill switch in his programming every iteration of him fucking dies

Underneath all the convoluted bullshit and Sigma plot "twists" there's the framework for very good stories. People like it more for what it could be than what it is, but the interesting themes and characters are there.

>Also Zero.EXE can die in the bad ending of Network Transmission.
There are multiple endings?

Just two. You need a secret item otherwise Zero just dies.

Wow, looking into this really threw me for a loop. I've finished this game 4 times, and apparently I got the best ending all 4 times, because I remember using the Zero navi chip in all 4 playthroughs, which you apparently miss out on if you're on the bad end route.

Good for you, user.
