It only ruins your enjoyment of 60hz and makes any 30hz games unplayable. Don't do it at this point.

meh, there's diminishing returns. Things get smoother at 75, look smooth at 90, lcds have persistence issues at all refresh rates causing motion blur. 120 and 90 feel very similar, 120 and 144 is indistinguishable, 185hz (I use a CRT iiyama visionmaster 514pro)is nice and everything. It gets better but it's nothing like 30 to 60.

It really doesn't make a difference.
However uncapped framerate is good as it gives the system more time to avoid a stutter if a particularly slow frame happens

Anyone who claims that 144hz doesn't make a difference is a mongoloid who forgot to go configure their new monitor and change it from 60hz to 144hz. Many such cases.

The main problem is that most games can't hold a consistent framerate over 60-100 anyway. When a game does have areas that are 150+ it makes it feel appreciably smoother, but they are not common even with a high-end CPU+GPU.

Because it was willing to play itself straight while also not taking itself too seriously. So you'd have goofy shit like a mask underneath a mask, but everybody would still take the whole situation seriously. It stopped the show from falling into self-parody, while allowing it to remain goofy and still keep the plot going.
