Have yet to see a single person asking for layer swaps or advertising for class-specific dungeon grinds. Maybe you're just on a shit server full of shit people but my experience has been players willingly seeking out others to do group quests/content all the while communicating and being pretty wholesome. Haven't missed out on a single elite/group quest because there are always people around wanting to do it or even just willing to help.

As for women, you should focus on improving yourself first. Get in decent shape, start eating better, and build up your confidence. Wear clothes that fit you well, and get a decent haircut. If you're in school, build up courage to talk to women. The more you talk to them, the more normal it will feel, and the less weird you will appear. Don't be a gamer creeper though.
