This, to be perfectly honest.

All of Dark Souls 2's DLC.

*ahem*

Obviously OP pic related. The Sam DLC is the best thing about that game.

Dark Arisen for Dragons Dogma, the DLC area couldve been a whole game if they just elaborated on it, like it could be a straight up dungeon crawler.

I like playing as Sam but not really, it's way too derivative of the main game, right down to the bosses and levels. The Sam/Bladewolf DLCs were clearly rushed out in like a month.

Same could be said for any Souls DLC, assclown

Besides Sam being such a better protagonist, who knew that adding double jump and a dedicated dodge would improve such an awful game? Too bad it still couldn't overcome the fundamental problems the base game was designed around

Far Cry Blood Dragon

Awakening was better than Origins.

Sam has a full unique moveset, his Armstrong fight is more complex than Raiden's, Wolf has stealth kill animations for every enemy he faces and a totally original boss with his own vocal theme song, and both have full cutscenes. They were asset flips but they both had effort and offered completely different playstyles to Raiden who was caught between Metal Gear Stealth & Platinum Action and as a result wasn't quite there at either.

>smaller moveset
>end up using more varied combos because all the attacks have their niche and synergize well instead of just being bloat to waste BP on

>The Sam/Bladewolf DLCs were clearly rushed out in like a month.

Rising as a whole was rushed out even by Platinum standards, I'm amazed it turned out as good as it did.

Didn't Raiden kill this guy? How does he have DLC?

What's his point in the story?

It's an origin story.

The real Revengeance was the friends he made along the way

the DLC's before the main story, like an origin story
he's supposed to be the cool dude, rival type of guy

Sam and Bladewolf DLC are prequels. Sam has an ambigious death anyway in case Platinum gets the go ahead for a sequel.

>an entire game as Sam
stop I'm already rock hard from the succubus rolling in the yakuza troll thread

Why the fuck do people say this? Damage sponge ass samey enemies, meme bosses in every one.

>play as raiden and sam, like re6 only not executed horribly
would play

No it wasn't retard

>combo attacks where you both go into blade mode
WEW

>DLC has the best bosses in the game
