I'm nearly certain the fight with your party was just a hallucination. They wouldn't have had any way to reach the island, they don't leave corpses after they "die" like rando's army does, and the screen even flashes red right before they appear, which indicates that Brad was tripping on joy.

You know by the time, Brad reach the island of his Dad, kills him, passed out due to this intense trauma and joy withdrawl/effect. Your crew could have make a fortune boat or stole one from the boat dudes in the area.

Hopefully that game will be genuinely good, rather than exclusively beloved by edgy teens with daddy issues like LISA.

The game is really good at many level, "edgyness" is only a tool to make you're choice more crucial and including into a well thought level design.

Having a PC like Brad makes perfect sense in the game design, a martial artist always learn and train his body to be stronger. But a brawler is never effective alone. Another thing about Brad, his addiction is kind of edgy BUT it balances his overpowered ability and make the game more painful in the long run. But at the same will help you beat the strongest guys or stuff in Olathe.

And I would describe more Lisa as quirkier mix between Hokuto No Ken and Earthbound while at the same time having a soul and his own personality.

Marty fucking raped Lisa and maybe did this to Brad. He even forced him rape his sister and basically made Brad a strong man but with a very weak spirit.

Marty deserved all the hate and beatdown from Brad.

He could have been a better dad, but Buddy sure as fuck didn't know what she was getting herself into, and it was wrong of Sticky and Rick to push that decision on an impressionable fucking child. Sure didn't help her ego either.

If you lived the life if Buddy, being free is what I would strive for. The ego problem is that she was always considered unique/savior of humanity.

The problem of Buddy, is like every child who grown in an over protective family, we only keep the bad side of our parents. But they are right, and will always love you more than anybody. Never once, Brad tried to abuse her (only later due to stress and jet), yes he taught her to kill, but it was necessary.

It made her inner desire manifest. Causing her to do what she did toward the end of Brad's journey by acting selfish and killing everyone in Olathe to finally be "free" and powerful. Its hinted toward the end even if you dont take joy as her she will still transform and needs the antidote.

Also, you SHOULD take joy, Buddy don't have addiction or withdrawl. The DLC was difficult but people thought there was an other ending. Now there is so much game breaking abilities for Buddy like Gas Bombs and buffed Mend

Austin's done more tedious things. Every character has a "Sleeping Sprite" for when you abandon them and Buckets has a Russian Roulette sprite despite it being impossible to happen in game

Yes but actually no, Brad forced Buddy to be in a prison, for his own good yes but it's the reason why she loves liberty.

For all his fault, Brad was right and relatable. So is Buddy, if you ever lived kinda like her sheltered from others for "protection" and like Buddy you will understand your father when you are older or if you ask yourself why.

Marty deserves eternal pain, no death.
Here's why:

Marty raped and abused Lisa until she mutilated her own face and eventually committed suicide.
Brad was definitely also abused, although I dont know how hard he got punished in comparison to Lisa.

Buzzo loved Lisa since childhood and blamed all if Lisa's misfortune on Brad for some reason, hence why he tortures Brad.

To take revenge Buzzo REALLY improved his own skills to an unimaginable level.

Buzzo is very strong and somehow became Yado's closest ally. He even knows everything about Joy and it's implied that he and his Joy Gang have a secret haven for surviving females. He carries out Yado's orders.
Needless to say, Yado probably wouldn't be at the throne of power where he is if it wasn't for Buzzo's support.

The Flash seems to have been planned because of how Yado and his trusted allies seem to be far better off than everyone else, with there being an incredibly secure laboratory/vault in a hidden location.

If Marty didnt abuse Lisa:
>Lisa would have lived a normal life
>Brad would be a way more optimistic person who doesnt use drugs
>Buzzo would not abuse anyone and would not become an unimaginably powerful person because of revenge thoughts

>Spreading Joy would be way more difficult
>People wouldnt need to worry about Joy Mutants as much as they need to worry about Gangs
