Choosing the appropriate dialog options, managing to fulfill your goals without involving in violence, is as much gameplay as mashing attack.
A true RPG allows you to skip combat if you make the correct build. Bloodborne is just a beat'em up with stats.

You are all completely wrong RPG just means that there is some form of D&D inspired character progression (skills, levels etc.). Whether you can nonviolently solve objectives is utterly irrelevant.

Bloodborne suffers from its leftover RPG mechanics like stats and stamina and should have been a pure action / adventure game e.g. Sekiro
