Anyone else disappointed how the game is turning out?

I wanted this game to be a cross between Deus Ex and Ghost in the Shell, with cool intrigues with corps and low lifes, pushing into fringe topics like cybernetics, augmentation, net hacking and asking questions about society like GitS but I guess they wanted to make GTA in 2077. I miss original CP2077 vision, but that's what you get when you hire western devs with zero creativity. Some polish veteran devs had to quit, because of the language barrier. They were enviro art people mainly. Now there's your answer why this game looks like this. (Source- I'm from a smaller polish studio who hired all these devs from CDPR)
Watching the motorcycle parts with the HUD makes it very clear they are scrambling to add shit to emulate the meme cyberpunk aesthetics after backlash after they were avoiding and making fun of earlier in development.

That's exactly what all Cyberpunk trailers until now are implying.
The aesthetics are so fucking awful. It's not the gritty high tech low life of DX1. It's not the bombastic aesthetics of HR or MD either. It looks so painfully mundane, grey and boring it could as well take place in modern America. Even cyber space, typically the most stylized part of the games like this, looks incredibly bland. They somehow managed to make a den of augmentation-obsessed lunatics bland and sterile looking.

I think it's the worst decision ever and complete bullshit unless they facelift the FUCK out of character customization. You'll still see your character in reflections/menu and stuff, and the only real disincentive to not have slider customizations for rpg's is because it's hard to control facial animating while talking. Without that barrier due to taking out cutscenes there's no excuse for a low effort creator.

Artistic vision isn't an argument either. They could've had that intact without removing it from gameplay. People who don't wanna use it wouldn't have had to. Removing TPP in a game like this is counterproductive. The player lacking control has been a huge problem in games recently and CDPR is dumb for thinking their artistic vision is more important than an industry standard of games with custom characters. Having a custom character is now an objective waste of disk space. Just give everyone a choice between guy V or girl V, no customization, or keep the customization and put TPP back in.
